Woot woot you go lostgirl. With that kind of thinking you will be sure to get one. I used that reverse psychology and got not only one but have my second one in the nesting box. I'm not expecting grumpybutt before it hatches so a Myke accident won't happen.

Tanyon is welcome in our community, we don't have an issue with his age. In the future we will have to try to have better defined rules for our contests, and huntnphool will have to try to do better in supervising Tanyon's participation. If we all do our jobs we will hopefully avoid this situation again. We'll find our way.

Agreed on multiple aspects of this stuff listed above. No one was being considered a cheater, but some line had to be drawn at some point. As such, I have also sent tanyon a gem to help ease the "sting". In the end, no worries. There shouldn't be any hard feelings about this, and I'm sure we all hope tanyon succeeds in getting a peridot soon (maybe even before lostgirl in debstoy's case). My goal remains that we all get that rascally dragon (while is gold olympus dragon continues to elude me, and all i seem to be able to breed are crystals). Great work to everyone involved with this, and g'luck to both tanyon and lostgirl with their peridot hunting. (and congrats to myke on obtaining his replacement)

I deliberated this one before writing and couldn't intuit it. Or rather, my intuition was wrong. I had thought it was short for "look here, look here". Bad guess, same intent.
Still no Peridot. Today I've gotten a moss, tree, crystal, cactus, and now 2 simultaneous quakes. Oh lucky day.
I'm sorry to tell you I have a second Peridot breeding, so I am hopefully finished with that gem dragon!(that's assuming I don't have the mishaps some of you have had with a helpful child ). Surely, it can't be much longer before you get one???

Hooray for simultaneous Crystals. I love Crystals. I can't get enough Crystals. I don't really want a Peridot. I'm a trailblazer not a follower. (reverse psychology. my dragons are stoopid maybe they'll fall for it. LOL)
On the other hand I'm finding it really hard to be bitter about my stoopid dragons (okay maybe a little bitter. LOL) because I've just signed a contract with my literary agent (I never get tired of saying the word my in front of agent) and have finished the first story (just have to illustrate it) of my new children series "A Sugar and Spice Cook-It-Yourself Tale" that is going to release in November!
A Peridot would be the icing on my fabulous new agent new book deal cake, just saying.

Thank you! Yep, I'm doing it all -- the story and the illustrations AND the kid-friendly recipe at the end that Sugar and Spice baked/cooked/made during the story. This story is about gingerbread and is tentatively going to be called "The Eat Our House Christmas Party"
I totally like where your head is at. My dragons SHOULD give me a Peridot reward. (stoopid dragons. LOL)
Although, did I mention how much I loooooooooove Crystals?? (stoopid dragons -- nope not bitter at all. LOL)
