You can view color images of the themes where they are listed for sale in the Market: Islands.
Oh, (blushing and shrinking) gosh, I didn't think of looking there... Sorry Fletch and GD

I have been reflecting on my failure to get a single dragon out of the dozen or so I have tried for, in the last month, and already had almost all the fails. I wonder if part of the reason is that my park is young, L31, and that I have become caught up in breeding the time limited new release dragons, and gems, and don't have the best odds dragons in my park...is that possible? Is it a better strategy for a young park to work on breeding all the basic dragons first??? Hmm, maybe I need to visit the ' how to get the best from your park' thread

^ In a word, no. Park level and what other dragons you might have make no difference to breeding chances. The only information being used is in relation to the two parent Dragons.

This may be just my perception, but it seems like your odds are actually a little better in younger parks and that things get tougher as you gain experience. However, no two parks will ascend thru the levels and accomplishments at the same rate. Patience and persistence! And after you throw in the towel, go back and pick it up again. And actually count your breeding attempts, then compare your outcomes with the percentages listed in the Sandbox. Sometimes seeing all the successes (or fails) we post about might make you worry too much about your own progress, but, don't
Finally, regarding breeding strategies, when I first started I ran thru several combinations for a dragon, hoping to hit lucky, but now I usually pick a combination and rely on "Retry" - not sure it's better, just simpler, and I have bred all the dragons that can be bred by now (except Omen ).
Best of luck!
Forgot to mention, whining to friends on the forum seems to help. Superstition? Who cares, if it works?

Thanks Fletch and Womantrarae; I also realised I still have only the basic BI; looked up wiki and it costs HEAPS of gems to upgrade ( for me, who has only recently climbed to above 100); so I need a gem sale ( massive hint BF)
edit: shouted self early birthday prez and bought gems and upgraded...and got a long breed, so crossing fingers for Autim

Twin dragons have a blue orb (or star, in some cases) above their heads. Here's a baby twin Olympus (left) and matching non twin (right).

Has anyone seen the overview of the possible results when breeding? It is not a complete list, but it is good for those getting started and as a reference. It is found on www.dragonvale.wikia.com located under breeding results. Happy Breedin! Warmest Regards, Debra An

Hi Debra an, You may want to check out the sandbox too if you haven't discovered it yet. www.2084.org/dragonvale/breeding-sandbox Basically, you put in the two dragons you are breeding with and it spits out a list of all the possible outcomes The second tab, Combo Finder, lets you put in one or more desired dragons and it will give you all the possible breeding pairs. You can also tell it to try to avoid a particular dragon.

Hello Cool Kid, I been to the sandbox. The nice thing about www.dragonvale.wikia.com is that it will give the people whom are new to Dragonvale a direct link to the sandbox from that website. It is located right above the breeding chat! I love the fact it gives easy acess and explains various information about the game Dragonvale, as it is a great place for new people to learn about Dragonvale! Warmest Regards to All, Debra An
I wish this had a edit post! My tablet has a nasty habit of changing word I have typed in! corrections above: I have been to the sand box before........ It is located right above the breeding chart! For those new to Dragonvale the sandbox will give a complete list of possibilities of breeding when you enter the parents name. If you go to the website www.dragonvale.wikia.com and follow the link above the chart it will take you directly to this Web page (straight to the sandbox) that you can enter the parents that you plan to breed. Then you simply look at the list of possible babies it gives you that the two parents could make! It is that simple, so it will increase the chances of you getting the type of dragon you want. Too bad this game did not have test tube babies, to get an exact type of dragon you want to breed! Could you image what that would cost if that was possible and how long that would take to do that? The more information about this game I have found has really been helpful for me and I hope it will be just as helpful or even more helpful to you all as well!

In some cases with some certain Dragons (very few dragons) time of day could also be a factor when breeding! I have personally found good information for breeding and other important information at www.dragonvale.wikia.com , which you can find which dragons that time of day is Important for breeding! You can also view a chart of the possible babies you can get with the type of parents used for breeding! If you scroll down a few posts you can see the additional information about breeding, which I have posted below. That information on the websites (www.dragonvale.wikia.com ) should help you get a better understanding of breeding and the possibilitie. I am a visual person and when the I have a chart to see, it really helps me understand how this breeding works in this game. I hope it will be as helpful to you as well!
Does anyone know how to change the first letters of my name to capitals, as I entered them that way, but they did not post that way!? This is one of the reasons why I hate registering with any sites! At least when I would sign in as a guest this was not an issue! As you can see above!

Your name shows with capitals. And by tapping the edit button in the upper right hand corner of your completed post, you'll find it jumps to a window that allows you to edit.

I figured it out it was under profiles! Funny, I had been posting as a guest and since I had done that so many times I figured maybe it would just be easier to become a member and make an account! I got tired of having to prove I was not a mechanical machine, by having to reveal the words or phases over and over again! IE: Fish Tacos, Bundle and Save, Progressive, Progressive Insurance,............ It gets tiring and time consuming after awhile!??

1. I believe he takes individual screenshots and stitches them together in Photoshop or similar 2. Open in paving edit mode and tap on the edge of the island repeatedly. Each tap will place a paving stone down in a new cleared spot. You can also tap any obstacle like a habitat or tree.
