Hi everyone, Question for you, i have 2 bloom dragons, if i breed them together will i get another ( now that they are no longer available)? Also, just got lucky and got the new Current dragon and I am trying for the Butterfly. I breed the firefly and willow and have a 12 hour incubation, is there anything else it could be, besides butterfly? Dont want to be doing my happy dance and be disappointed tonight. Thanks for all the great information!
Welcome to the forum! Yes..once you have a pair you will always get that dragon when breeding them even if they are gone from the market. I'm fairly certain you have a butterfly there. Congrats!

No Phibes, the guide is an app that he posted on the quick tips help topic. It is great, you just enter what dragons you are breeding and it pops up with what possible results are. Gives you times etc. Remember I am breeding mostly basic dragons right now, so it helps me to determine what to put into the 2 breeding sites.
BTW, got a couple new dragon eggs this morning. I think they are quake, lichen and storm based on the time!! I need to figure out how to get the Air, Water, and Metal without buying. But because of my basic dragons, have not seen the combo for those.... I will keep reading the breeding charts!
Am now saving for my Hibernation Cave. Wow, 3 + million. That will take awhile....

For the water and metal the only way to get them is to buy. To get an air breed a basic fire and water.
HA HA been so busy trying to earn coins for the hibernation cave I didn't want to spend coins on him!! Guess I will and just keep trudging for the cave. Thanks
I'm curious about the coliseum results. I've been on a silver and bronze streak for the last week and a half. Am I just having very poor luck or has the instance of receiving gold been reduced?

It's somewhat random, but receiving bronze is very bad luck. You need to put in as high a level dragon as you can, so Level 15s. I'm not sure but I think it has to do with average dragon level or earnings compared to the value of your park.
I see. I've been putting in level ten since I only have one silver shrine. I was wondering if the fact the one type of dragon breaking the ten barrier was skewing my results or something since maybe it had expectations of higher level suddenly.

It could be. Now that you have a chance for Level 15 or higher. We don't know for sure.

Another question is why can't I breed certain dragons to one another? Like Fire to Cold. It says they are opposites and can not be bred directly. So then I use a fire hybrid and cold?

I also have a question concerning leveling up the dragons. It seems I never have enough food to level the dragons up. Right now all my dragons are level 8 and a little. I try to have enough food to take the babies to level 8 as soon as they hatch. Any suggestions?

Don t worry to much about the 5 gold medals, it will come in time when you do not even think of it anymore, that s what happened to me lol. The third island comes at level 16, it costs 2.5 millions, takes 12 hours to build, and when finished you get a bonus of 1 million coins. Yes, cold and fire are opposite and you cannot breed pure dragons together, you have to use at least one hybrid including the opposite element. Llevelling up dragons brings more money by each level, and secondly, this is the way you get to obtain your silver shines. You will need 50 dragons of level 10 for each shrine, but hybrids count for all the shrines they have elements of. The first shrine comes at level 18, the plant shrine. One thing remains same throughout thr game, whatever level you are, you never have enough food to feed those hungry dragons!

Chances to get a better award are allways better if you put a dragon having the first element equal to the event competition. At least that is what i observed.

The first element? Are you implying that one element is dominant in a hybrid? I always put a dragon in that contains an element that corresponds to the daily challenge if that is what you mean.

Yes, if you look at thr dragons description in the market you see for hybrids 2 or more elements. The first element is the dominating one. If you visit other islands, you will see dragons with an orb on their head. You get this after reaching a silver shrine and levelling up your dragon to 11. The color of the orb shows the dominant element of the dragon which is allways the first element in the market description.

3. What is the fountain of youth for? It says to turn your dragons young?

As i am online, i will take up the answers 1. The awards from the Colosseum are gems, cash and XP, there is no statue associated with those rewards. In the market, there is a dragon statue at 5 millions which, IMHO is just uggly and is totally useless lol. Under your level bar, there is a "goal" button, where it offers you to breed dragons and do various things to earn cash and XP. In the course if the game, one of the goals will be to have a gold medal in each element. 2. The plant shrine costs 500'000 cash. Aim is to breed a total of 50 dragons containing thr plant element and bring them to level 10. Of course, the trick is to breed dragons containing 2 or more elements as those dragons will be accounted for towards the aim of 50 for each corresponding shrine. For ex. Buy the plant shrine and breed poison dragons so two shrines will be implemented and when you get the fire shrine you already have those. 3. The fountain of youth is a gadget lol. Enables you to return dragons above level 10 to baby state look, keeping their attributes (breeding, cahs etc). The Hibernation cave is a much more interesting acquisition as it allows you to store dragons you have leveled up for your silver shrines, because the next step are the golden shrines! But that is another chapter.

1. No statues are given for winning in the coliseum, just coins and xp. Are you meaning the dragon statues that are shrines?
2. You just need to have 50 dragons that have reached level 10, that contain the plant element. Plant shrine costs 500,000 coins.
3. Some people really like the look of the baby dragons better than the adult version. You can use the fountain to revert the adult version back to baby, then you can actually change it back to adult if you change your mind. Even though a baby form, the reverted baby will same the same coin amount as the adult did.
4. Congrats on the butterfly! I suggest breeding a second one because it is limited and once it is gone you won't be able to breed another one.
OK, thanks for all the help. I am talking about all those different type of dragon statues that I see on all of the islands I visit. Is that from the shrine?
Yes, got the hibernation cave and will level it up when I get close to the 25 total. Does it go to 50 dragon capacity when you level it up?
I counted my dragons and dang, I only have like 8 plant. LOL So, I have a ways to go for the 50.
I have been trying to do the goals first for the breeding of the dragons.
Another question is, I am level 16 and have the metal dragon showing for level 17 at 1 million. But I do not have the habitat for the metal showing yet. Is it also level 17? and How much will it cost? I am currently saving the million for the dragon.
