A little bit of advice on "turbo babies" is to not let their level get too high before you change your dragon back into a bouncing baby.
I've experimented with this, carefully adjusting the level of my dragons before I turn the adults into babies. I found that between levels seven and ten is what I call the safe zone. Adult dragons who are turned into babies between seven and ten usually don't get very big. The Treasure dragons are the one exception, because it seems like most of them are huge no matter what you do.
Another piece of advice is to turn the adults into babies at level seven then feed them a little, stopping to check their size with each level so they don't get too humongous.

Oh, that’s very clever! So if you convert a dragon to a baby at level 7, then feed it to level 20, there’s a chance it won’t become a big baby?

Thanks to everyone who replied about my "turbo babies". I'm going to play around with levels and feeding - so much for my "feed 'em up to 11" autopilot when I get a new dragon. Now that I have almost 75% of the dragons, I feel like I can start some theme/event island decorating... finally! 🐉🐉🐉

My Dragonarium is breathing fire again. The Ghostlies have been taken out off the basic segments
Yes! This was such a long battle, but the Ghostly dragons have at last returned to their limited status (with a green hourglass) so they will no longer reside in the Elemental section of the Dragonarium. For all those who do not collect Ghostly dragons — you shall see red fire again!
Deca has been super busy. They poured so many fixes on us today, we’re still in tears of disbelief and joy.

I don’t understand all the talk about this having to be a mini event so that we don’t lose the Halloween event. Why couldn’t this be the Halloween event this year? Isn’t a favorite pastime on many camping trips to sit around the campfire at night and tell spooky ghost stories? It’s not something I enjoy, but lots of others do. BFS has created a lot of spooky dragons. Maybe DECA decided they needed to expand the event so that they had more options for new dragons while still bringing in the old spooky dragons. That is what I am expecting, and personally, I like the idea. I’m not a huge fan of the normal Halloween event and many of its dragons.
If this is their Halloween event then I will be very unhappy with their decision to change spooky Halloween into a camping trip. Yes, spooky stories are a part of camping trips sometimes. But there's a difference between camping and actual Halloween with trick-or-treat, dressing up in costume and candy. Or at least that's the way I see it.
The Halloween event and the dragons released during that event are my absolute favorite. That's why I dedicated my entire gargantuan island to nothing but Halloween dragons and decorations. It's the one holiday I actually enjoy and look forward to.

The dragons in this event are not spooky and that’s why people like the halloween event so much along w/ the decorations. I’d say that Hallowe’en is far more worldwide than Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is strictly a US holiday. So if they’re going to drop or mini-size any event this season, it should be Om of Noms. Plus, Whitbee’s is far more exciting than Om, especially since all the limited treats are now permanent, which is what drew in returning players.

According to their FB page, Deca would never remove Hallowe’en knowing it’d be an enormous disappointment to their players. Carry on, Whitbee!

Got a email back from a Emma Frost and she stated “We have now resolved this issue. Please reload DragonVale and your park should be launch error-free. Let us know if you are still running into trouble and apologies for the inconvenience. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us.” I had stated that playing Dragonvale this weekend was as enjoyable as having a tooth ache 😖. Especially when you are crashing and reloading countless numbers of times. Then add in gem loss. Went in and tried breeding with adlerist Frons so if I had any issues I could say I was breeding with adlerist’s Frons. Tried some speed breeds and crashed once other than that it seems to be running better. They DIDN’t say anything about the gems I had lost because of the crashes so do not know if they will address this issue or if it is so overwhelming with the number of people who had the same issue they will just let it ride. Hopefully the rest of the players your issues with Frons are fixed if not contact DECA through your game email support. Koalas to all who are still working on breeding Frons or any of the other Hidden dragons old or new ones.

I never noticed that we have a correspondent rift only for every house dragon I did notice that there are similar eggs to the house dragon eggs, but that's all. So we have the house dragon itself, the rift only dragon, the ornamental dragon and now the new hidden dragon:

I’m in the middle of a huge park renovation. Moving all my habitats around and redoing each and every island. Well, I’ve been using my storage tower as a moving van of sorts. You know, storing everything from one island and unstoring at its new island home. I was in process of moving all the lightening pedestals across my Vale, on auto pilot, tapping store and yes, over and over again. When I hit my limit of 75 slots, i accidentally tapped yes to upgrade my storage tower from 75 to 100 for 400 gems! 😱. I freaked out when I heard that gem sound! I had a little over 500 gems then and now I only have a hundred or so 😰.
Yesterday, Sunday, I emailed support hoping they could put my storage back to 75 slots and refund my 400 gems. Today I heard from Emma at Deca. She told me she could only revert my park back to the time before I made the mistaken upgrade. But I’m going to lose all progress I’ve made since that point. 😕
I just emailed back saying to go ahead and revert my park, but now I’m having second thought. I hatched my Frons before the goof up, but I’m going to lose all the pinecones. But then again, I’ll have my 400 gems back. What would you all have done?
I’m also bummed because I really can’t do anything in my park, since it will all be gone again anyway.

As the Golden Hybrids fill up, and now that Deca have taken over, I’m wondering if a new pair of elements will be released, and they will have to pair to be the 6th house.

My heartfelt sympathies to you! I have unfortunately done something like this at least twice. The sickening feeling when you realize what has happened...! Both times I have just sucked it up & continued on. It takes surprisingly little time to replace those gems if you don’t speed up breeds, take advantage of the coliseum, daily sponsor gems, gems from friends, & Tolzar. It takes discipline, but it can be done.
