I installed a new plug-in on the forum. On your birthday, a celebratory GIF gift will show in the upper right corner of your mini-profile on all your posts, and on your Profile under View Profile. The image will remain all (birth)day long, so we can celebrate with you!
I created a sample account and set the birthday to today for an example of what it’ll look like. PLEASE SEE THE ABOVE POST.
After searching around for a while to find a cheery, party-like image that meets the odd limitations of the space and doesn’t look awful, this is the image I finally selected. But if something better comes along, or anyone has suggestions, I can always change it.
If you hover over the image (or tap, if you’re on mobile), a birthday message pops-up. 🎉🐨
There are a couple requirements for the animation to show:
1. The birthdate in your profile cannot be set to 'hide birthday', it must be showing either your birthday (day/month) or birthdate (day/month/year) 2. Members must be logged on to see the image (not visible to guests and lurkers) 3. All plug-ins only work on the desktop version of the site, so if you’re on a mobile device, click 'Desktop' in the lower right corner of the site, refresh the page, and join the birthday party.
Unfortunately, due to security policies, if you do not have the correct birthdate on your profile, you can no longer change it yourself. The only options are to register with the forum again or ask ProBoards Support and see if they’re willing to correct it.
If you do not want this image to appear on your profile when it’s your day, please set your DOB to hide.
To check or change your birthday settings go to: Profile > Edit Profile (button) > Privacy > Birthday Visibility (when done, click 'Save Privacy Settings')

Going for real estate but....................... Will wait until expansion sale as well because you have been able to clear obstacles for free. With the way they are putting the dragons out in high volume and rapid pace doesn’t take long to run out of room and why have the dragons if you have to keep them in a hibernation cave.🐉

For those of us who have checked in daily since the rewards started earned a wish recently and are on our way to the rare egg. We have a long way to go until the next one.
I use most of my wishes for gem habitats. They have a terrible return rate otherwise since costs went up. It would take me almost 4.5 years to earn back the amount of my next one and they keep going up and up. I save up dragoncash for islands.
I am 3 days away from next wish. I will be wishing for the most expensive Island available, so I can expand a little bit.

Perfect timing! On Sunday I just fulfilled my 2nd wish with the Gargantuan Island. Loving the extra space on my regular-size islands now that I've moved pretty much all the epic habitats down there plus some of the "daily" buildings. The epic dragons are having a lot of fun now that they can really see each other. The 'mats are a bit put out since they are still stuck on the pedestal island away from the rest of the dailies. I've started mentally planning the décor on the regular-size islands, but haven't done more than rearrange a few habitats to see if I like the concept.

You are back at just the right time. They should be available in the upcoming Halloween event.
4 decorations, called effigies, allow you to evolve the first 4 primaries into ghostly versions of themselves. Then you can breed them together, in specific combinations, to get the hybrids.
Sounds like another glitch. When I first logged in, I did not have the new splash screen or the countdown; however, after logging in again, it is now there.

Congrats BagMom! I just got my 2nd wish today and I’m waiting to use it. I like the idea of using it for a gemstone habitat, but I am desperately out of room like most of you, so the overgrown island is looking very tempting (my first wish I used for the gargantuan)!

Brilliant idea! I have several unused wishes and had never thought of this. I have so many gem dragons wasting away in my hibernation caves that may now see the light of day. Thanks amos

As an FYI, I didn’t use my free tickets for eggy. I saved them for the next event that has eggy. Well, best laid plans. My social menu now has a blank entry that says from DECA. I am going to keep it there until the next event that has eggy, but I don’t expect it to come back with the 3 free tickets.

This new event is going to be a struggle since I'm still stuck with my old tablet for the time being. I deleted a bunch of unnecessary apps to free up RAM and memory, installed the update for DragonVale, and now with fingers crossed, I'm hoping for the best.
So far the game has crashed three times, but I have managed some limited access to my park. Any access is better than none, though. Guess I'll have to whip out the old coloring books to pass the time while I repeatedly try to get into my park.

Also try low resolution mode if you have not yet tried that option.
