Meta-carotene is the big winner as far as cost per treat/length of time to grow/amount per treat farm. It costs 24 DC per treat, only takes 3 hours, and produces 1,250,000 treats per farm. If you’ve upgraded your farms to the Tower Treat Garden, you’ll have access to Meta-carotene all year. It changed the game for me. I am financially independent thanks to Meta-carotene and 12 Towering Treat Gardens.

During Om of Noms, I constantly grow Jelly Plant. It’s my absolute favourite at a mere 8.33 DC per treat. Some players don’t like it because it only takes an hour and produces 12,000 treats per farm, but since I have access to Meta-carotene permanently, it’s by far the best buy.

I may be stating the obvious but.... all the planters and decorations for the Om of Noms are available for purchase in your DRAGONARIUM for dragon cash. Go to. Dragonarium + Decorations+Celebrations....you can sort to find all the celebration decorations you’re missing. You can click and buy the ones from Om of Noms. During the event you had to buy them with the event currency.

Although trinkets for other events are included in your inventory, they’re not available for purchase at this time.. So I’m not sure whether or not this means there will be an actual Om of Noms event.

They are also available in the market.

So as soon as I have bred another Berry and Sprout I finally will be able to get the missing Aubergine and Bloatato
But I have acquestion concerning the growth of meta-carotine:
Is the only way to grow meta-carotine to upgreat 6 treat farms to the Towering treat garden ?
I don't like its look and it costs 25 gems (x6)

Question to anyone....I was gone from my park for quite a while and am missing the latest 5 dragons from Om of Noms. When I looked at the breeding hints, I’m baffled as to how to breed, for example Bloatato? I have a level 20 Sprout, I just bought the planter and planted the squash. But then what? Does it just appear??

Select your Sprout Dragon.  You should se an EVOLVE button below it’s description.  If it is lit, you’ve met the requirements to evolve it to a Bloatato Dragon.

The koalas have been very kind, and have allowed me to breed a Topaz dragon.

Just a few more and I'll complete my gemstone collection. And since today is Thanksgiving, and I am thankful for this new addition to my island, I think I'll name him Thankful. 🦃🐨🦃

be aware that your Sprout dragon then willbe gone, it becomes a Bloatato.
And the evolution does cost 100 gems

  I bought Chromacorn &  Corruptacorn set, applied 100 gems (I think) to complete the transformation but, I have no idea how to apply the flames. Is it that I haven't been able to level these to 10+ in the park or in the Rift with ether. I do have them past level 4, but the only information I receive i that these dragons can only be bred in the Rift, so I'm baffled because so many folks put them in co-op to breed.
     When I saw the previous post (thanks for head's up!) about performing rituals, buying the correct treats and how, for example, you'd lose Sprout dragon as a result in just trying to complete breeding, having the right decorations and buying the correct treat farm buildings (if I've grasped at least some of that)  I figure I'd best consult with the best! Thanks in advance. Happy Turkey Day to all!

Update-   Arkynos: I found post info in past event thread to get me on the right track. Sorry I hadn't found it sooner. Searching the forum with various keyword attempts produces your last post there as 28-04-2018 as result. So it may have to do with my settings. Once I was  in the sorted past threads I could then see your latest post on the subject. I see updates to post & latest in all other 'Tips, Strategies, Updates & Help' headers so I'm Thankful there.  Still miffed by ritual steps  May be like a coping mechanism of denial knowing after sorting steps out, cash & food cost assessment, we also hand over 100 gems! Sticker Shock. Ay, Caramba!

Thanks so much for explaining. If I am going to lose this particular Sprout, it’s a twin, then I will feed another baby one for the evolving. I’m assuming the other dragons with similar odd breeding hints are the same, evolving types. Thanks again 😊

Another thing, this is Om of Noms, but I’m not finding any baskets or cornucopia of treats in my park. Is this just me, like I’m not looking hard enough, or is it not there at all, like the game ending and all?

This morning I finally discovered that I could update my Lost Island by using my one remaining wish. It certainly makes it look rather delightful - pity it won't be around much longer!

I only have one Cumberpatch and I want a rift version. The wiki says he can only be bred in the Burcadian Cave. Anyone have any idea of whether he can be bred in the usual places since we don’t have a Burcadian Cave for this quasi-event? There’s a green hourglass by his description in the Dragonarium, but I can’t assume his breeding rules have changed, or can I?

Likely insufficient remaining staff. They may get some time to set the event running...
if you check the border around your visitors icon, it’s grey= nothing extra other than flag bearers, to find, atm

The wiki is in much pages outdated.
I was not playing when the event with the Burcadian cave was active and I have a Cumberpatch. It could be from the daily login reward but I'm relatively sure that I bred it during the last year.

I washed out with Cactus and Monolith in the rift yesterday, which is why I asked about the location for Cumberpatch, but got it first rift breed today, a lovely plant trait Cumberpatch, which of course I named Benedict. So if you don’t have a rift Cumberpatch, go for it!

For those who like to own a rift and a normal version o feach dragons, the Evolved Dragons (Aubergine, Karrot, Curlyleaf, Vidalia and Bloatato) are relatively easy to clone in co-op with a friend's if you already have one.  Evolve a rift and ask a friend to put their one in co-op.  Should only take 2-3 tries.

They also have very unique breeding times, so easy to tell if you have been successful.
