That is great that Deca are prepared to answer all our questions again.  It was really interesting to read players questions and Deca's answers. They did an outstanding job of answering them all.

Dear Deca

Would you please consider lowering the maximum cost for Galaxy Eggs? E225,000 is ridiculously expensive as this is the only reliable way to obtain rift Galaxy dragons – they cannot be bred or cloned in any breeding cave. Decreasing the odds for getting duplicates would also be awesome. For context, to obtain rift Monolith/Snowflake dragons you only need one rifted Monolith/Snowflake dragon and it is possible to breed the rest. For rift Chrysalis dragons, once you have the correct four dragons, it is also possible to breed the rest.

AND/OR
Would it be possible for the daily reward Galaxy dragon (once you have a normal twin) to be a guaranteed rift version of a Galaxy dragon that isn’t already owned or allow us to select which Galaxy dragon we would like rifted?

AND/OR
Introduce a mechanism in the rift that allows you to breed rift Galaxy dragons. A co-op cave or allow selection of non-rift Galaxy dragons with the possibility of a rifted Galaxy as an outcome.

AND/OR
Would you allow Galaxy dragons to be same parent cloned in the Runic Breeding Caves when they come back in an event?

It would be great if there was another option other than buying Galaxy Mystery eggs to complete our rift collection of Galaxy dragons. I have spent literally millions of Etherium and still do not have a complete Rifted Galaxy dragon collection.

Would you please add a filter to the Social Menu to make it easier to search through the Reward/Twin eggs?

Would you please bring back the twin push notification so that we know when we have had a twin sent to us by another player?

PS: Would you please produce an animated polar bear decoration for Christmas?

Can you please add something to the friends list that indicates if they are still active in the game, like maybe an indicator that says the person has logged in in the past month?

PSA: the price of the Giant Rainbow habitat was accidentally changed to 150 gem a couple weeks ago, but has now been restored to its original price of 100 gems.

If anyone purchased a Giant Rainbow habitat during this time, please contact support for a reimbursement of the difference. Thank you!

Dear DECA could you please stop introducing 3 dragons in each event that can only be bought with event currency.
This way it is nearly impossible to have a complete rift collection.
And a lot of players rather breed the dragons than buy or clone them.

We have had non limited dragons + limiteds for a long time. The thing that BFS did after the rift was introduced was to bring back dragons as collection comebacks one to a few months later so we could breed for rift versions. It is rather ridiculous that I have two on my wish list from last year that have not come back and I have not even been able to try for them at all.

I need to breed a Midnight in the rift...... so I can breed a Stella......so I can breed a future limited 🙄

The sandbox says breeding for midnight has to be set between 7pm and 7am. so.....

Do I simply need to have a night time theme from the twilight tower?
or
Do I actually need to set the breed between the hours 7pm to 7am real time?

You only need to select a night theme from the Twilight Tower. Then all your breeds will be set to permanent darkness.

That sounded more gloomy than intended.

I hope they bring back event dragons too. The reps have asked Deca to do this many, many times. I don’t believe this was requested on the AMA though. This might be a good question to ask if they do another AMA... 😊

They are organized by base elements and dragons a types, and alphabetical.
Pedestals are also arranged by regular, twin, rift, and rift twin.
I use it all the time to see what I have and what I need.
Is anyone else this obsessed?
I need to rearrange. Can you show me your display?

I also am playing in an iPad 6th gen, so I don’t have the memory to go searching friends parks.
If you have an arrangement you are proud of, let me see.

P.S. does anyone remember Oldsmol, he said his eggland was his pride.

That must take some dedication and a lot of time to keep your pedestals arranged like this.  Especially with new dragons being released regularly. 

My pedestals are not arranged this well. I have all the elemental pedestals nicely arranged on one island, but the other pedestals are on islands relevant to their type - ie all dream pedestals are on the same island as the dream dragons.

I remember OldsmoI and always enjoyed his posts. I am not as diligent as you with my peds and keep mine much like MinyaZ. I have some friends who only keep one of each pedestal and they have so much more room for decorations and habitats. I’ve been tempted to start doing the same. I am not very lucky with twins so I’m missing a bunch of them.

First Gargantuan Island holds my Regulars, Twin Regulars, Golden Hybrids, and Twin Gold Hybrids in the giant grid at the top. Each 2 rows are separated by a stone path, because it's important to me that the visitors can walk amongst them, and see them all.

Around the bottom of the grid are egg spirals of the limiteds. Plant, Fire, Earth and Cold have the big spirals all to themselves, and then there are pairs going up the other side. A gold path marks the center of each spiral, and the regular and twin limiteds spiral out from there. Again, a stone path marks the spiral, so that the visitors can view each pedestal. Missing regular pedestals are marked with a flag, and missing twins are marked by a coloured block. At the very top right are the gemstone eggs. Might have to relocate them soon, with all the limiteds of the later elements making things a bit squishy.

The epics are spread across 2 islands. Flags up the center mark each element type, with the twins mirrored on one side.

My rift eggs have their own grid, through a sense of hopefulness that they will one day be filled in. My rift Island (let's get a theme for that, shall we?) also holds the Crystaline and Galaxy eggs.

I don't collect Rifted copies of regular dragons, and certainly not rifted eggs. That seems like too much.

Edit: My Ghostly dragons were originally in a similar grid on the other gargantuan island. It seems unlikely that ghostly versions of all dragons/eggs will ever exist, so it has been disbanded, and they ghostly eggs have been plonked on a Spooky Halloween island. They need some tidying up.

PSA: Deca announced Lunis and Solis can never be cloned outside of the Cooperative Breeding Cave.





Unfortunately, by restricting Lunis and Solis to co-op only cloning, there is now a conflict with the breeding rules. The FB Game Rep noticed the contraction, and Deca is aware of the situation. The DV team has discussed it.

Example: breeding Moon + Lunis on the Epic Island, should result in Lunis, because Moon + Lunis fulfils the breeding requirement for Lunis (Moon dragon + galaxy dragon). However, Lunis will never be the result, because Lunis is in the parent combo, and Lunis’ cloning percentage is set to 0% outside of the co-op.

If Lunis and Solis were breedable and cloneable everywhere, there would be no issues. So players will probably ask why the DV team won’t make this simple change and allow Lunis and Solis to be cloned in all the locations it can be bred. Since it is a very easy change, my guess would be Deca had a very good reason, like it’s preventing a bug that Lunis causes when it’s cloned at the RBCs.

Therefore, this will be the new breeding and cloning rules for Lunis and Solis:

Lunis Dragon: the breeding pair of dragons must contain the Moon dragon and any galaxy dragon except the Lunis and Solis dragons. The Lunis dragon can be bred in all breeding locations, but can only be cloned at the Cooperative Breeding Cave.

Solis Dragon: the breeding pair of dragons must contain the Sun dragon and any galaxy dragon except the Solis and Lunis dragons. The Solis dragon can be bred in all breeding locations, but can only be cloned at the Cooperative Breeding Cave.

It’s a bit nutty and very wonky, but the DV team is planning on updating the in-game breeding hints and descriptions for Lunis and Solis to the above.

Thanks for the update on Solis and Lunis adlerist.  Yes, the new rules are very clunky. Hopefully Deca will allow the breeding hints to be permanently available in game or available if you watch an ad.

It gets a bit hard to keep track of all the different dragon breeding needs when they introduce so many different requirements.  It really highlights that the in-game breeding hints must be correct for players who don't read any Dragonvale social media sites.

I know there is a list somewhere, I used to have it bookmarked, but now I can’t seem it anywhere. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Could someone please point me in the right direction?

This is the link from the Wiki. I hope that this is what you are looking for. I wish Deca would do something 'different' with the Race Track to encourage players to play it.  I haven't raced my dragons for a long time.

They tweaked the races to be harder. Once they did I find you win every time by using a level 20 epic dragon that displays the elements needed (not hidden). If you need Light use a Level 20 Bogberry. If you need Earth maybe a Level 20 Avarice. You can use any multi element epics. These are just examples. When you choose this way the game puts up random epics that do not fit the elements. 😉

Not sure when it was noted that Lunis/Solis can’t be used in the breeding pair, but I managed a Solis and a Lunis a few days ago by using them in the combos. I needed a rift pedestal of each so I used Moon + Lunis and Sun + Solis. I was able to breed Lunis rifted x 2 and a Solis non rifted.
