Good thing about LYD is u can breed it with rainbow. Has a 12% rate of success. If memory serves....

I've gotten 3 Leap Years so far (only one of which was wanted) and *0* Fireworks. (thought I had a 4th briefly. Then realized 15.5 hours is Ghost, not Leap Year. Not that I wanted Ghost either -- Got either 2 or 3 of them as well!)
I gave up on Fireworks. Hopefully he will be easier in July. I'm sorry your answer is not so easy.

If I breed Panlong+Panlong will that guarantee me a Panlong? Or will it only increase my chances of getting another Panlong? (Does this apply to all dragons?)

Panlong x Panlong will always result in Panlong. Same goes for every other dragon, except gemstone of course.

Yes, breeding the same dragons will give you that dragon and it applies to all breed-able dragons.
Do not believe that this is a correct statement....I believe you can breed the LYD with the rainbow to get an LYD after the limited event expires.

I think you can breed limited epics such as solstice or lunar eclipse with another limited epic to get one of the 2 limited epic parents after the limited event expires but this can't apply to LYD because you are breeding with rainbow which isn't a limited epic.

I remember when I tried using the sandbox with LYD+Rainbow before the limited event, the results were only Rainbows, but I don't know if this statement holds true
