A hatched dragon is worth 210% of it's sale value + 2000 DC. It then goes up in value as you feed it, almost to the value you spend on food.

Does having a stockpile of hatched dragons in a hibernation cave affect the value as well?
Super lucky today. Got the garnet on the island. Thought about trying for the love(got a 30 min fail). Then though I do not have a single equinox. First try with water and blazing 24 hours. I will speed it up in the morn and start on a second love/clover.
On,y dragon I am missing is the platinum. Need a second clover, love, gold Olympus, equinox and seasonal. Also need to flesh out my egg collection.
Hi friends, I finally managed to get two garnets, so I turned the first one into an egg and now I have completed (for now) my egg collection. So, behold:
It used to have a more circular nature a couple of months ago, but with so many new dragons it's been tricky to mantain, so it now seems a little square at some points. In april it will be truly complete, with all twelve gemstone eggs.

If I get another Obsidian fail when trying for a Garnet, I'm going to scream! Seriously, I've had EIGHT fails with Obsidian on EBI! Are there any other confirmed breedings for Garnet other than Smoke/Obsidian?

Thanks, Eternity. Bummer...will keep trying, though. I'm still fairly new, level 27, just upgraded my cave and back down to only 7 gems, so having to just wait them out. Patience has never been a virtue of mine. LOL
