I'm back! I've been on holiday since the end of last year, without Internet for 12 days! But I left my iPad with my mommy and she got me an apocalypse and a LYD display egg. I'm so proud of her
So, um, why are the limiteds still here? And did I miss a New Years dragon?

Welcome back. How was your holiday?
No new year dragon.
Go mommy!
And limiteds are still here because myke made a call and did get it extended.
Awesome that you've got backup for Dragonvale too!
That I think would be nice having a DragonVale backup. I don't have anyone to take care of my dragons while I'm gone so they starve :/ poor dragons.
I had to leave very specific instructions, though. Only for breeding, so gem gifting, food growing, habitat harvesting, dragon feeding and the coliseum all went untouched. I wouldn't have done it if apoc wasn't so limited.

I think it would be hilarious/awesome to have some sort of "Dragon-sitting" system set up. Though it could be time consuming, you could get paid in gems!
What drives the time length of quests? Are the different places set times, does it depend what reward is found or is it random?
According to the wiki, the rewards are dependent on the different times. Starting from 2 hours, the rewards can be cash, food, or experience depending on your level. The rest of the time intervals of 3, 4, 6, 9, 13, 18, and 24 hours are all artifacts for the Perch of Kairos. The more hours for a quest, the higher the artifact is worth as a single piece. Using the correct dragon for each quest increases your chances of obtaining an artifact.

Cool thanks! I just got 22 hours so hopefully the last piece of stage 1. I'm having fun playing with a second gcid, on my main game I just raced like mad but now I'm learning new stuff!
Well the Garnet dragon may be proving elusive for me but this morning all my shrines turned gold! Am so pleased that I managed to get them to go altogether (having pinched Fletch's idea - thanks Fletch!) rather than the odd one here and there. Although I have to agree with everyone who has said they do look somewhat yellow rather than having gold tones. Roll on bringing platinum shrines to our parks BFS.

If I ever did that I don't think I'd get anything done in a day. Helping with my daughters park as well as my own means I struggle to get what I need to, still it is a good idea, especially with so many limiteds occurring that you could miss out on.

Congrats on your shrines, I'm always in awe when I visit someone's park with all their shrines gold. What's your next goal?

I'd do it! Give me your username, password and current breeding pairs, and I will visit your park a few times a day to keep it going.
