Competition Leader Board
Happy April Fools Day everyone! We hope you have enjoyed our little prank of word replacement. Some of the things that appeared on the boards in the last few hours has certainly made the Staff laugh. There were some real gems in there - or should we say "sparklies". A great way to cap off nearly 12 months of the DragonVale Community forum.
On April 6th, 2012, Poppy created this forum and spread the word that we had a place where DV fans could come and post freely about this great game. As we approach our 1st Birthday, the mods have planned out a week of celebrations and games for all our members to participate in. The first 6 days of April will be marked by morning announcements of competitions, where points can be earned, and gems/crystals can be won. As the week progresses, we will keep a leaderboard updated in this post and in the forum header, which will link to a Google doc at docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AsQlB8i5pltpdGs2cXcyemYxVDV5YktOY0ZRdzBRbXc so you can check you're progress and that of the other members. On April 7th the final Tally will show the top points earners, and they will win:
3rd place - 1 gem or crystal from all 11 mods and an Overview image of either their DV Park or GN Outpost
2nd place - 3 gems or crystals from all 11 mods and an Overview image of both their DV Park and GN Outpost
1st place - 5 gems or crystals from all 11 mods, an Overview image of both their DV Park and GN Outpost and a customized dragon avatar by Loopyloop
Worth winning? We think so. So how do you earn points? The first competition begins today, and starts with the release of the Diamond Gem Dragon.
10 points will be awarded to each person that breeds their first Diamond Gem Dragon in the first 24 hours after the combination has been confirmed.
5 points will be awarded to each person that breeds their first Diamond dragon before the end of April 6th. Post in this thread when you have a 30 hour (24 hours) breed time so we can verify and award the points, although we will try and award the points as we see people post in other threads.
Also, there will be a competition later on in the week which will require you to friend some of the staff members. You should do so now so time isn't wasted later, their GCID's are:
