Happy birthday to the community! This sounds like fun!
I got my first diamond dragon on my first try April 1st (that's no april fools!). I posted that fact in the "I Hate" diamond competition yesterday. The beautiful egg is now incubating. Got my second diamond dragon on my second try on the island. Both are firsts for me!
A word from "the trojan horse" ... I have to correct what Poppy modestly did not mention. The very reason why his newly created forum turned out to be a tremendous success gathering more and more DV players is undoubtedly the fact that on the former forum Poppy in no time became a star when he joined. His born charism, his humour, his kindness, in short his whole personality, enchanted all of us (oops I omitted to mention his modesty lol), and when he was banned, we were all desperate and no one wanted to stay there any longer. Finding him was not difficult and the members who, at the time, had survived, did a tremendous job in contacting others and leading them to the new forum. Thanks to Shellee who did a wonderful job. And so we started as a little group, growing quickly to the big community we now have. I would like to thank the group of mods and admins for their great work, especially Pixie-Shirley whose dedication is just fantastic. She is "the woman behind it all". Respect! For reasons I will not develope, I am quite proud she has the position she holds And of course, thanks to Poppy who, even in the background, is the leading force of the forum.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DV forums and a great big thank you to Poppy for creating such a wonderful place for us to come and chat! We loved all the fun yesterday, it was great fun and a great April fool! Also thanks to all the mods for all of their work on the forums and work in the background. We really appreciate your work.
I was able to breed my Diamond last night on the 4th try. I will post a pic tonight when I take it out of the breeding island.
Have just managed my first diamond, but don't think I made it within the first 24 hours. Haven't ever posted a picture. Will have a look at the directions and give it a try.

This. I got banned immediately after Poppy did because I let blast on the other forum asking how I on earth I was going to find this friend that I spoke to here? I realised later that possibly other people had emails or other ways of contacting him. In the end Poppy found me on Twitter, of all things, and invited me here. And aren't we all super, super grateful.
I actually bred 2 diamonds early on but didn't take a screenshot so no proof I bred them. But one is a displayed egg pedestal, would that do? If not, no worries.
I've been wanting to ask if the other forum is still in existence. I also wonder if those in charge there learned anything from what happened. Certainly, all of us here have been the fortunate beneficiaries of their mistakes.

Oh yes, the other forum is massive, and looks after posting about hundreds of games. We were but a small part, and treated that way. They did acknowledge that they handled it badly, but their parting shot was "How dare we try and steal members." as though we had been sleeper agents, waiting for our moment to lure people away. They didn't seem to understand that we were just trying to keep our community of friends together, and if they barred some of us ... well we were all going to leave.

I thought this was going to be easy peasy! I was wrong. I hunted for ages last night and found none. Was a bit more successful this morning when I stopped reading the posts. I might sue you though as I seem to be developing a serious case of scrollers thumb!

My goodness! Thought I was really familiar with all our threads. This one is new to me. So, there is this dragon....and his name is Puff? Is that a new Air hybrid?
