I can't login to facebook from DV on my Samsung Galaxy Tablet. When I open the options menu, there is no login to facebook button. I am also using DV on an android phone and the log in to facebook button is available on this device. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks
Hello cookieluck. Is your Samsung an android phone? If it is, have you tried logging out of your other android phone's facebook, and closing DV. Then log into fb on your Samsung, and then try DV. You may have to uninstall DV first, then re-install it after logging out on your first android phone.
I run two parks via two fb logins, one on a HTC and one on a Kindle fire. I can move between both parks, on both machines.

Since updating to iOS 8 I can't re-gift gems to my friends and all my friends who I know are lvl 55 say lvl 1... If I go directly to the friends tab there are none listed...

I upgraded to iOS 8. I've shut down, closed out etc and still can't get my friends to show up. I've checked game center and they are still there.. Any ideas? I play on a 4th generation iPad.
We are aware of a Social bug for users that have updated to iOS 8. We are currently working on a permanent fix.
In the mean time we will not be displaying Game Center friends for users that have updated to iOS 8 in order to allow the game to play smoothly. If a GameCenter friend has sent you a gift, you will be able to receive it and gift them in return, as long as you don't clear them from the Gifts list.

Thank you! Unfortunately that info is not entirely correct. I can only gift one person a day, so it's like my tree isn't working? All the gems appear, I can use one and then they refresh and I loose them. I wish they would let us know what's happening and when we can expect a fix.

Try gifting one gem, closing and reopening your social menu to see if you can gift another person. That's my current method, although I can only gift those who have just given me gems. I gift before I collect, because once I collect the gem the option to gift is gone.

I can no longer use Dragonvale on my iPad mini due to constant crashes. It works fine on my iPhone, but is not nearly as pleasant to use. This has me considering hiving up the game. :[
I agree, Dragonvale on the iPad mini is now unusable if you need to do the events. It crashes very often in the social menus and visiting friends. For normal breeding and sweeps, etc. it works fine.
I wish BFS would just drop support for devices they don't want to make work anymore. My iPad gave things up years ago, but was still able to try to start the game.

Can any of you give me some advice, please? When I tried to load the last update (the one with the horrible zoom and Nogard level 1), it would not load and there was a not enough space message. So I removed some apps and loaded it. Since then, I have had major problems with the game crashing and major time lag even on the main functions of the phone. For example, when turning on, the start menu takes longer to load. I have uninstalled, rebooted the phone, but I cannot load DV. It sometimes gets to the farm loading screen, sometimes to the dragon's tail loading screen, but always flips back to the phone menu with a black screen for DV. I don't get any of the old explanatory screens as to why it has crashed. Hubby has looked at it, checked the memory and memory card and apps, and has tried a memory maximising app. No joy. The phone has 1 G, and DV takes 50 MB to load. With DV installed but not opened, there is 0.94 GB total space, 365 MB available, and 596 MB for apps. Please help me, BEB and Xmas is coming and I need my phone to work....... gulp.....

Looks like my phone is getting worse, everything takes longer, even closing apps when only one is open. I'm going to have to try a factory reset as nothing is working. Or get a new phone if that doesn't work. ATM I'm having to switch between parks on my kindle, which involves logging in and out of FB separately each time, and taking double time to play both parks.
Unless anyone else has any bright ideas?

I really wish that I had some troubleshooting suggestions. Unfortunately, I'm not at all tech saavy with the Android/Kindle platform I hope that your problem gets fixed soon.
I'm looking for a suggestion for android devices. After playing locally I decided to create a Facebook acct for the purpose of gifting friends,etc. I put in a friend request with my daughter who also plays. Both our friend requests were successful; we show up on each other's FB acct, but not on our devices in DV. I am wondering if it's because my local park has not merged with the new park yet? I still have a park ID. But it says "log out?" On the FB place on the options page... seems like we're missing something simple.
Despite many repeated attempts during the last few Last Call competitions, it seems that any friend request I send no longer arrives at its destination. In the latest one it appears I have also lost the ability to recieve friend requests as well.
