As an old-timer, I remember when 100,000,000 for a new island seemed astronomical. Well, I guess inflation has set in here in Dragonvale Land as there are many (I think) billionaires. I thought it might be interesting to see how many we have here so I'm putting up this little poll.

Someday I'll make that a goal. Was well on my way before the new island became available. Once that destroyed my stash have been growing food and saving a billion got lost in the shuffle. With the new giant habitats holding more coins, becoming a billionaire isn't quite as hard as it used to be.

I achieved reaching 1 Billion DC only once a long time ago, but it didn't last for long. I soon spent it all on Treats to upgrade the Shrines...Now my stockpile only ranges around 5-15 million due to the constant flow of treats for more lvl 20 dragons.

I'm trying to get all dragons to level 20, so it'll be a long time before I become a billionaire again. I earn about $250m every 4 days though.

My routine at the moment is:

- Buy Dragonfruit for 4 days.
- Activate Kairos
- Buy 4-6 batches of beanstalk
- Repeat

So basically the 6 hours that Kairos saves me every 4 days are used to buy beanstalks.

It's pretty hard, nigh impossible, to reach 1B if you're feeding dragons to level 20.

I have no gold shrines, and buy beanstalks only when I have over 1B, and haven't got the new island. I'm pretty sweet.

I was a billionaire before the new island became available. Now I have reclaimed my billionaire status and use all cash above one billion for food. I have only crowned three dragons, my Coliseum dragons.

I have over a billion in my second park and about 700 million in my primary. I keep buying treats when I get over 600 million. I have all gold shrines and have crowned 4 dragons as well as having the new island. I'm happy with my coinage. BTW Poppy I also love that old expression. Lol

I am about 6 billion...I have never pushed any dragons past level 15 though. I have 2 million food. Around 900 gems

Never have been. Unlikely to be any time soon. Too many hungry hungry hippos dragons to feed.

That said, I am well on the way in my little park. I am playing that quite differently to my main park, and am at L31 there but am still on all bronze shrines. Without the pressure of food, it is quite easy to amass a small fortune.

And about 10 level 20 dragons which I value at $500m each

Well, I stick to allways have 1.5 billion. Whatever comes above it is invested in food and, at some point, I level up a dragon to 20.
This is the hardest part as I only level dragons that I like.
I also invested in deco, redid my egg island yesterday on a new concept of nature park, lots of green.

I had over 2.5 billion before I bought the last Island. I'm slowly working my way back to 2 billion...

I was one until the 8th island. Got 300m left to be back. Key is I did it without stacking my habs with too gold earners like those you see with panlongs in every slot they can up one

Hi, Cobus-- good to hear from you again. I have been thinking of you, wondering how you are.

I had 2B (a level I never thought I would reach when I first started playing!), then I started leveling up dragons to 15 & i bought the 8th island. My goal is to have 2 of every dragon at lvl 15, then crown only my favorites. The Earth dragon is going to be the first one I crown. I obsessed over getting the 8 th island and now haven't decided how to decorate it. Lol. I'm almost back up to 1B.

The interesting thing here is how everyone chooses to play the game. In my park I'm always looking for ways to use resources, both gems and gold coins. I level up dragons (too many crowns!), breed impatiently, whatever. I suspect the way one plays a game like this may be a bit characteristic of how one lives their life.

I enjoy having a second park, the one I started with my grandson. I manage it from an alter ego point of view - never buy gems, accumulate gold coins, stay patient. But even there I go as fast as the gem supply allows, never accumulating any. Verging on a billion gold coins though, which will never happen in Park #1.

I suppose that's all DNA.

Currently at 1.85 billion, should be over 2 very soon. I'm so glad I finally reached my goal of 1000 gems and 1 billion Dragoncash. Will take a 500 million or so hit when the next dragon comes out, to reach lv 20.

I once had over 2B, now I float between 0-50M DC. When the last patch came out, I bought the eighth island, bought food, leveled dragons, until I had nothing left. As soon as I have 50M, I buy food. My goal is to get one of each 3+-element dragons to 20. Only 2 or 3 left. Then I'll start saving again.
