I spent DC to get the newest island. And a bit more to clear it. I'm back up to 1.5 billion, where I'm comfy. Getting loads of food and gems for my gold shrines didn't hurt. I could still level up about 1 dragon each day from 16 to 17. All dragons above ground are at 17. (Except for the one being made a baby and the one at 16.5.) All Plant dragons in hibernation are at 17. I'm working on the Earth dragons now.
Was floating near the 430mil for a while but recently spend it on 7th island and lots of food. Now I'm keeping it near the 10mil and everything above is going into my treatfarms. My current total earnings are 727.920DC/hour and I'm nowhere close into a steady cashflow.

I've been reading through this thread and doing a few tests. My park value is about 33,033,500,000 DC. I checked it before and after growing food and after feeding a dragon, but not up a full level. Food does not count towards park value. Feeding a dragon partway towards a level doesn't change park value. I must assume that park value changes with dragons that are fed fully to a level. (Edited to include this.) Yep, park value increases with using food to change a dragon's level. It isn't a 1:1 ratio. I couldn't do the math in my head, sorry. I have the feeling that the ratio changes as you increase levels.
My park value sank when I sold off dragons after completing the Shrine Grind, but that was a while ago. I have been gradually feeding my remaining dragons up, one level at a time. Right now, all my dragons but the Light and Dark are at 17 or better. I have 4 at level 20, for competition in the Coluseum.
I don't play to increase my park value, I play because I find it fun.
I left this club during the magic event. Soon after it ended I regained my billionaire status. However, I knew that if the new colosseum elements were added, I would need to level 2 dragons up to 20. I always crown dragons in pairs, for no specific reason. It takes around 21 million to get 2 level 15s to 20. I currently have more than 19 million treats, so it looks like I will be staying in the billionaire club until something requiring my DC stockpile is released.

I used to be a member until the new island came out. I bought that, leveled up 3 dragons to 20 for the coliseum...then leveled up a light and dark rift for when they "play" the coliseum (their symbols are listed--just haven't been used yet.)
Now I have about 65 mil to go to be there again. I will use excess to get more food. I don't think I will level any more dragons to 20, but you never know!

One of my goals was also to be in this club, if nothing else than to be prepared as the levels were opened up. With the magic event, I dipped down to 700mil but am now back in the club and slowly but surely will expand as I patiently wait for Panlong, Rose, a couple of eggs and the next new level cap to rise. Back to more food gathering and crowning of dragons. Best to all during the holiday season.

All of you are right. Nothing has changed feed the dragons, bread the dragons, cook them a bit and start all over again. Yes I did say bread them . Still have 1.7B can not seem to get any higher ,maybe due to this last BTB event. But hope to catch up a bit and aim for2

Well, I never in a million years would have thought I'd make this club, especially after all the spending I did during the Rift event. But somehow, I've gone from consistently hovering at 50 million to finally crossing the billion dragoncash barrier today.
The next time they release an island again, of course, it'll all drift away in another spending spree. But it was fun to get there at least once!
