I think there may be more light and dark hybrid dragons coming - why are there no light/dark+lightning/cold/metal/air hyrbids?
I am guessing they will release them in phases, so that there are only a few new dragons to get at a time. I'm looking forward to breeding some new golden hybrids, but it looks as if that's on the back burner for the time being.

Agreed, we will definitely be getting the extra elements. I'm thinking it's going to be in a single release like they did with the past hybrids. So, one week would be lightning/light, and the next week could be lightning/dark. Though they might do it in phases of lightning hybrids, cold hybrids and so on.
But yeah, Goldens look like they were just a placeholder until the Light/Darks came out.

It doesn't appear so, unless they include the Rifts in a Bring 'em Back event. Breeding a Dark Rift with a Light Rift, in an over L20 park will only produce a Dark or Light egg, no rifts. You need two of the same to produce a clone.

At the moment, yes. If you want more you would need to buy them with gems as there is no working breeding combo if you only have one of each. However, that could change in the future as more Dark and Light hybrids are released. Perhaps around this time next year the Rift Island will return and we will be able to breed them using the Dark and Light Opposite dragons...

I honestly hope they do not simply release one dragon a week, that would be too painstakingly slow. There are 22 common light/dark hybrids left, I do not want to wait till April/May to receive them all... :/
I believe they will be released in packs. For example, this Thursday we could see the Light/Dark+Cold and Light/Dark+Lightning hybrids for a total of eight new dragons. It may sound like a lot but remember these are just basic hybrids. I believe we will have all the common hybrids unlocked before the new year.

That's only if they release one every week. You're forgetting that they have to release other limiteds and gem dragons, etc. They could stretch this out for a whole year.
