I honestly hope they do not simply release one dragon a week, that would be too painstakingly slow. There are 22 common light/dark hybrids left, I do not want to wait till April/May to receive them all... :/
I believe they will be released in packs. For example, this Thursday we could see the Light/Dark+Cold and Light/Dark+Lightning hybrids for a total of eight new dragons. It may sound like a lot but remember these are just basic hybrids. I believe we will have all the common hybrids unlocked before the new year.
That's only if they release one every week. You're forgetting that they have to release other limiteds and gem dragons, etc. They could stretch this out for a whole year.
The metals took ages to all get released.
That's even more of a reason why I would prefer them to release them in packs. I'd like to see BFS continue work on the golden hybrids, especially since we now have the chance for light and dark goldens. I was really upset that we didn't get a coal dragon as a earth+dark hybrid! Lol I'm hoping to see one as a golden hybrid in the future.

In the past however many months they've been planning this, they have been releasing weekly dragons AND prepping the 16 dragons to be released all at once with this event. I don't think it's very likely we'll be getting large groups of these hybrids been released regularly.
But take heart ... there's no reason they can't release your Coal Golden Dark/Earth hybrid any time they like. They don't have to finish the regular hybrids before releasing more goldens or epics.

It's also worth noting that with all these dragons, for the most part they all have different designs and it's easy to tell one apart from the other. It's got to be hard trying to make each dragon unique without straying too far from what makes it... dragony. I wonder how many times a design is thrown out because it looks too much like an already existing dragon, or not dragony enough.
I"m not expecting packs or dragons, or even little couples of them. Most likely it'll just be one per week, but I'm okay with that. It took me less than a week to get on of each of the current Light/Dark dragons, so this way the fun (at least for me) can last longer.
There is a new Dark Remnant decoration gift from BFS and the event island is gone. Rift Dragons are still available.
Thanks for the heads up. That gap between the breeding island and gemstone island is driving me nuts! I hope they move the gemstone island back to it's original position before the event.

The rift island returning gives me hope that I can still get a dark rift egg. I've been breeding my two dark rifts for days and get light dragons every time! --- If it wasn't for bad luck, I wouldn't have no luck at all! (Quick - name that tune.)

It appears that some of us getting the Dark Remnant was the result of a premature release. They took down the servers and did a roll back of sorts very quickly after the fact, so if you logged in after things came back up you would not have recieved the gift.
I suspect when the island will probably leave some time today and we will all recieve the correct gifts...

Not sure why, but for me I can only attach a file when I Quote, and not Edit, or New post.
So, "Quote" yourself, then you will see the Attachment option "Browse", look for the pic under your camera roll

I don t think the Island and the rift will disappear, this based on the current message
It's said that since Dark was released, but it still vanished yesterday along with Rift Island.
Based on what Fletch posted before, it sounds like they were plannign to gift it to us as a decoration, possibly along with a Dark Remnant and Light Vistige deco.
