I feel this event has been much better managed than the last one. By way of thank you, I have purchased a bag of gems in both my parks.

I did not take you up on your special offer as I already have the full complement of fireflies, so no point buying more

I don't know what happened. I turned in my ffs to get my tower. I got the tower, the island disappeared, but the counter with the excess ffs is still there and I haven't got any gems yet. Is it supposed to work like this or should I have received the gems immediately?

EDIT: The counter now is gone and still no gems. I think it happened because I got the gloaming stone in the beginning along with some "gem gift" (1 gem, I think). Well, I'll have to send an email to BFS.

I have been continuing to collect FF after having enough for the Tower last weekend. I kept collecting until today and had over 3300 FF.

I tapped the turn in FF button and it deducted the 1,650 FF for the tower... the Tower & gloaming stone appeared in my gifts along with a third gift from BFS. It did not state what the gift was, but the picture showed gems and when I tapped collect my gems went up by 333

I've really enjoyed this event! Big thanks to BFS... I'm now having fun turning dusk into Dawn and back again!

Exactly what I did this morning and exactly the same result, except that I received 310 gems and they did round up plus the usual twitter and facebook gems available for the tower and stone.

Finally my dragons are flying in the sun again.
I could have waited till tomorrow to catch another 140 ffs or try to get the last ones of today but I preferred to end the event for me.
Now I have got the tower and 46 extra gems.

I have to admit that I like the day modus more ( sounds of the dusk are super though) so I think I won't change the appearance of my sky too often.
But what I really appreciate is to be able to set the night time for breeding without having to change my device time.

I started this event with a little more than 2400 gems. Now I have 2199 gems. That's quite OK. When trying desperately for a limited - such like moonstruck - I often "lose" up to 400 gems.
OK when calculating right I have to take into account that without the event I now would have more than 2400 gems
But I also benefitted (benefit ?) from the gems for my Prism dragons.
All I need now is a second Dawn dragon and a Dream egg.

We are back from our holiday. It was wonderful - even if the weather in Croatia has been more like Croatian autumn. Maybe that was our luck, otherwise it would have been very very hot.

I hope that during the next days I will have time to update my charts. It's necessary. I really don't know how r0b0tron takes the time to make all those updates in the sandbox within minutes !!!

Hmm, so the double fireflies end exactly at the next reset... I wonder if I can just open my park 2 minutes earlier, leave it open, and have the double fireflies carry over into the reset that way.

I believe your park does not reset while left open. You have to leave and come back to get reset fireflies

Yes, thank you for the extra fireflies that I have frequently received over the course of this event. They were greatly appreciated.

You don't necessarily have to exit the app. I found that visiting a friend and then coming back will reset the timer if its time.

I have to say that I am pleased with what I have achieved in this event Initially, I had no idea what was going on, and was quite silly to not source a community such as this much earlier than I did. I have achieved obtaining the Habitat in my game, when I initially set out to only obtain both dragons; so that's a win in my books! And i only fell 350 short of obtaining the Dusk dragon in my wife's game, so Im pretty satisfied! It was hectic, but I have the feeling that I may have been able to obtain the Tower with a bit more dedication, though I'm pleased that I haven't used too many gems.

All in all, I achieved all that I set out to achieve, along with the added bonus of a beautiful Celestial Habitat!

I am really looking forward to the next event, though, I have to admit that I am indeed looking forward to 'just' breeding some dragons now!

I hope all of you feel satisfied with what you achieved/obtained! Lastly, just because I'm so excited, I just bred a Prism Dragon, and now a Peridot!!!

It costs 1650 FFs. Also you can check in-game by clicking on the Gloaming Gate->Help->Prizes.

Wow. Suprised no one is making a big deal of this. Hope you get your gems!
I'm gonna send BFS a preemptive email too, seeing as I also got the gloaming stone early, and will likely have the same thing that happened to you... :/

Because we have house guests starting this morning, I knew I wouldn't be collecting past my first morning collection of the day, so for me, that would be the end of the event. Surprisingly, I made it down to the point where buying the Tower was only $2. Overall, I spent around 300 gems, and since I did tell BFS at the Egg event that if a prize was going to cost me $5 or less, I'd buy it, I did put my money where my mouth was. So thank you, BFS, for making this one a bit more affordable.

I adored the graphics for this event, but as a couple others have said, I'd just as soon see the next event be something completely different. And PLEASE...no more diminishing returns! That spoiled a good chunk of the enjoyment of this contest for me.

Now to get my Prizm display egg, and breed second Dawn/Dusk dragons to have a baby one!

I am very happy that this event was much more affordable than the Easter event by a landslide. I had spent $5 for the firefly event in comparison to the $15 during the egg hunt. The Twilight Tower is quite a nifty thing too

I am very happy to see in News under "Social" tab, a Timer that displays 16 hours & 43 minutes still left before the Event will be officially over for me! Since FF's return to my park in a little more than 6 hours, there is still hope left in getting the Tower!

I did some dragonvale soul searching & just can't see myself personally having everything Dragonvale has to offer, after upgrading all the gemstone islands, both breeding lairs, all the habitats, etc; to let this Gem of a Tower be left out, it would feel less complete. I did buy some Fireflies but no more than a tall mocha latte, and much less than I spent during the Easter Event.
Still in the family members who don't play but send me daily gems, its a gem shower for them, and that in itself is a lot of free upgrades! Congrats to those who we're successful saving those gems and achieving the tower by determination!!(I would love to know the secret to $aving gems, I am terrible at it)
