I did email BFS one time during the Easter Eggs event because the eggs got turn in right before the acct crashed, and the eggs were not accounted for in the total. The email I got from BFS was we looked at your acct, and everything appeared normal, as it should....but here is 30 gems. Honestly, my lost eggs accum maybe 15 or 20 gems max...I should be happy, but somehow I felt so "little". I just want what is Right, I would be fine, and understand with what was said minus the gems.
I get BFS totally, but at the same time I can't help how I feel.
I'm just thinking, is the tower even worth going for? I mean really, being able to breed sun/moon/dawn/dusk without waiting is nice, but does it really serve any other purpose other than to be a trophy?

Though I did express my feeling about the Twilight Tower, I got it any way. Like any trophy what do you do, but display. I can stow other prizes, but the Twilight Tower.
interesting to note that as soon as i got my tower, i changed it to dusk and immediately got the dusk dragon after getting a billion storm and hails for a week. i then got another storm, changed it to day and got a dawn. either all my luck condensed into those three tries or it really does affect breeding that much but the animations are wonderful i spam it a lot

At least you ended up with more gems. I wouldn't mind being patronised if that scenario happens to me. That email sounds like a normal fobbing off response from customer service.
The thought of being metaphorically patted on the head and told go play like a child does grate. Computer glitches can and do occur. However responding as if everyone is trying it on is not a good modus operandi.

Ah. Good then I guess I'm just taking my spammy ager to the forums more is all. I don't want to send BFS more than a couple emails a day, as I can't have them block me, since my beef is the most legitimate thing. So I may be venting with some overly-long forum posts.
By "second gloaming stone", Buffy is referring to when I said maybe us lucky ducks will get "a second gloaming stone" when the event ended, seeing as we already had one. Cringing at the fact that I called us "lucky ducks" hahahahaaaaaaaa The glitch did not get us an extra prize obviously, but quite the opposite. Oh bitter irony.
Where do you see the support ticket number? I don't think I got one. It's possible that they got flooded with issues shortly after my initial request, so maybe they hadn't initiated support tickets at the point when I first sent my issue and recieved my first (and only) response.
My daughter and I loved the FF event. Two new dragons, two new eggs, an extra habitat and a light switch for the sky, all for just playing the game pretty much as normal? -- who could ask for anything more?
And now there's yet another new dragon in the pipeline. It looks kind of soft and puffy to me, so we're guessing Cloud. (And while we're guessing, we're ignoring the angst and gripes and downright anger being expressed toward BFS on Facebook from people who weren't pleased with the FF event.)
What do the long-time experts think?

You will get your Dream, you just have to keep trying. Never give up. I have had so many fails, I rarely get any dragon on first try. It does help to level up the pair between breedings.
I agree with you, I am sorry for those experiencing flukes with/getting the Tower and Gems, but some of the comments on Facebook Fan Page are so ridiculous! Its a game, and stuff happens when software codes are involved, sometimes it's a good thing, getting extra gems without purchase. That is an added bonus for me!! But yes there are some really angry people on Facebook ranting and that's why I spend my time over here in this community.
I am on my tablet and always take screen shots of my park just for my Google+ activity. Hope I never need them for a park malfunction. I would be in a panic if I couldn't get into my park!

Ok, so question to those that don't have the Twilight Tower: Does your park actually switch backgrounds/sound effects from Day to Night at some point during the evening?
Because mine park does not, but my Tower was set to Day... so maybe it just kept it locked that way...
Seems kind of odd if the only way the park changes appearance is if you have the tower and use it to switch it over.

I don't know what happened. I turned in my ffs to get my tower. I got the tower, the island disappeared, but the counter with the excess ffs is still there and I haven't got any gems yet. Is it supposed to work like this or should I have received the gems immediately?
EDIT: The counter now is gone and still no gems. I think it happened because I got the gloaming stone in the beginning along with some "gem gift" (1 gem, I think). Well, I'll have to send an email to BFS.
Wow. Suprised no one is making a big deal of this. Hope you get your gems! I'm gonna send BFS a preemptive email too, seeing as I also got the gloaming stone early, and will likely have the same thing that happened to you... :/

(I was gonna send it because I thought I would only lose gems, but it was obviously so much worse) Atleast I got my screengrabs... butut ugh I could have helped my case SO MUCH if a had sent an email ahead of time. They would have looked into my park BEFORE the ffs dissapeared, and would be able to be on record of the issue. sadface sadface sadface

I don't know what kind of policies BFS has, but at every company where I have worked, if there's any doubt about what happened, the presumption is always in the favor of the customer. My expectation is that BFS will have similar policies in place. If their database stores a detailed record of a user's every transaction then they'll easily be able to tell that you accomplished the steps necessary to receive the reward. If their database only stores the current state of a user's park then, if they're like most software companies, they should take you at your word and credit you the reward (especially if you have screenshots and forum posts backing you up and lots of others are reporting a similar glitch). I think the outcome is highly likely to be in your favor.
I'm sure we're all rooting for you and any others that have experienced this glitch!
