Well, I plan to get the 1st Spooky Island Theme, if not I will be just as happy with the 2nd Nosferatu Dragon. Will see.

I guess, the Nosferatu dragon will occupy the Dark Habitat. Coming Winter event, BFS will reveal another dragon, and it will reside in the Light Habitat?

So? It can't stay in the Dark Habitat? . why did BFS reward us with that Dark theme park for....kinda of misleading, lol.

Hmm... Maybe it's to represent Halloween being a mixed bag of treats? Like BFS is saying, here take this, and take that, tossing out random candies to players.

The Nosferatu dragon isn't an epic dragon either. The Rift dragons aren't epic, but they coincided with the introduction of the Light and Dark elements, so they feel (to me at least) on the level of epic dragons.

I got all excited this morning, waking up to this! The Firefly Event was my first, and I really enjoyed it! This time, I was prepared, though
I have had 2 islands stockpiled with obstacles, and also this forum quick linked on my iPhone! So I greatly appreciate all of the investigations undertaken by our members! Thanks muchly guys!
My candies reset in about 20 minutes or so, and I maxed the first day- 130 for the tutorial and 205 with everything else. If I calculated correctly, I've got another 17 days of gems to spend.
I want to try to obtain everything this time, but as long as I get both dragons, I'll be happy!

...yeah this was the first thing I tried after the update.
They made the towers glitch-proof . (hopefully not because of me? lol)
If I change it, only the tower I click animates. And I (ALMOST) cannot make more than one type of animation visible at the same time. When you click night, day, or spooky, the tab goes away for a second, and you must wait a moment for it to come back. So you can't change to night then immediately spooky, for example. Switching towers quickly doesn't work either.

THAT BEING SAID, I somehow got one more sun/moon simultaneous burst, but Idk how. Trying again and again, can't get it a second time.

I was planning to report about this on the forum once I got a glitch screen-grabbed... but yeah. since you asked, that's what's going on. I can... no, I WILL get a glitch with spooky in it. (spooky/sun or spooky/moon). Expect it within the week. But yeah, no more tri-tower power anymore. :/

I changed all the references to Fireflies on the first tab but was too lazy to go change all the references on the "Instructions" tab. So any time you see "FF's," it should read "Candy."

I did get 25 candies from the Colosseum on day 1. And my reset is at 0600 UTC, which I think is midnight in Colorado time.

Probably not. I don't think they start right away.

Based on the firefly event, I'd expect them to be on the 17th and on Halloween. Although I would have waited today as well if I hadn't forgotten about these.

You need to download the latest update of the program. I don't know the details for Android, but I suspect you need to go to their equivalent of the App Store and check for updates.

I'm dead confused at how many of the candy things I can earn in a day - on the post at the beginning of the thread it says max 40 on a lot of the ways you can earn candy - max 40 candies is that .

I have also noticed that I only get candy from two visits to friends is that right ??

Ok I got it - I understand how the max candies is reached per day - I've only got 500 gems so I don't think I'm gonna make it to the first theme - but let's see if I get both dragons that would be cool - lol I hate spending my gems

I'd like to add a little disclaimer to this strategy. While you get 25 candies for 15 gems, you also do not get any other benefit. So those gems go directly to getting those candies. However, if you spend gems on something like speeding up breeding for example, then you get the candies as well as some other benefit. So if you are low on gems, this strategy may be a good one. But if you have a nice stockpile of gems, it might be better to just use it on speed ups or upgrades.

I am trying to figure out if I should hold on to my gems/until double weekends, or is losing the additional points and not capping out the candy points distribution per day going to put me behind in the reward line?

I don't want to clog up the thread but Thank you LemmyLoop for putting all the numbers together. Thanks also to the community here for the time you spend sharing tactics to the game.
