56 minutes to go... what happens to the dragons caught on the extra island when this thing goes off the air?
Barring some horrible, awful glitch, I think it's safe to assume:
- The dragons will be returned to their respective habitats unharmed
- the egg will go into your gifts, so that you can put it into the nursery when you have an open slot.
Actually... might be a good idea to clone something with a really long breed time in the BC. If my theory is correct, it would effectively have a breed time of less than an hour
Well, you were exactly right. I put in 2x Dream right before it ended, but unfortunately I just got a Coral egg in my gifts. Oh well.
I would love to have the Whiteberry cave. But I think that we won't even get to keep the Rosefall Tree. It's more likely to receive a rose bush or something like that. Anyway, I really like the events. It's nice to get the prizes, rewards, to find Santa or Gardenia... And it was a Fabulously Gay Idea to have players help each other by sending gifts. I'm anxious to see what they will bring us next.
POTM - we got the tree, reduced to the size of a bush!

I didn't keep track of how many roses I had left, but I think it was 279... and I think I got close 3 million treats based on my totals jump. I'm at level 60.

All gems spoken for but open to CoOp breeding and Party Hats!
Also, I somehow got an egg in my gifts even though I had nothing breeding in the BWBC when the event ended. Weird. Oh well that's 2 free gems for me.
1010 roses, 5.3M treats and Kiyoji21, there have been reports on the FB group of getting the last thing you bred again, if the Berrywhite Cave was empty at the end.

I feel it necessary to put a few random thoughts and comments out about this event so please let me know your opinions if you so chose of the following;
I always give BFS 10 or so at each event as a thank you (do this a little each month) as I want them to keep this game going, support the company and it also allows me to play at my own speed as my schedule in RL is extremely crazy.
I love the growth in this community at each event as we seem to always get at least another half dozen of extremely nice people to join in the fun and Aloha spirit.
Yes, I am a completion nut, however after the first event I just played as I always do - as a matter of fact I only did party hats during double weekend and still ended up with over 1600 extra roses which was translated into 8.6 million treats
I also loved the polls as a side diversion and loved the reasons for peoples choices
I only found "rose girl" four times during the entire event and halfway thru the event I bought a new phone with a 6 and 1/2 screen and still couldn't find her-my least favorite part of the event - even though I could see how others thought it was fun as I actually enjoyed hunting for Santa but this event she made me crazier than normal.
I again applaud BFS for always giving the players a surprise gift at the end--they really don't have to do this but I love the fact that they think of ways to say thank you to all.
I also liked the fact that they immediately sped up breeding for the last dragon in the cave- didn't need anything but an extra Rag was nice to have
I really am anticipating a new island soon...lets all hope together and send Koala to them for it.
They may be having more of these than we like but I really don't see that it is that big of deal, just another game within the game to change the everyday same old - same old
About it and needed a break from work--sorry I was so wordy and extra apologies to myke our grammar borg
Really enjoyed Fletch's humor throughout the event
Koala to all
Looking around and enjoying life!
All Dragons are safely in their habitats or in the HC

Hello, I am a new member of this forum but I have been lurking for quite a while. Never feeled talkative until now, because I have a major, major problem with how this event is handled at the end! I'm not sure if my opinion can be heard by BFS, but I sure hope so, because this one upset me SO MUCH!
OK for this event I feel like the awards are not so good. We get a decor, a pedestal, a dragon, a path, another dragon, and a special habitat. I don't like the design of the petal path, and I only keep one dragon each type in my park. The new habitat is ok, but eventually I decided I would rather omit the last 3 awards for a HUGE amount of dragon treats. So I did not turn in any of my roses after I got the first thorn dragon. By end of the even, I had about 3300 roses at hand. Less than 300 short if I want to go for the habitat, which was quite tempting, but I decided to stick with my plan.
Now after the event ended, I logged into my park, only to find that the petal path and 2nd dragon being given to me, and I only got about 4-5 million treats! Should they NOT force those awards that I intentionally avoided, I would have treats far, far more than those!
I'm really upset about how this is handled. Why can't I have a choice of what I wanted? I left those roses not turned in for a reason! Now I ended up with something completely useless to me (yeah I will sell that second thorn dragon). Shall I know this is what gonna happen, I would have paid a dollar or two for the missing roses and get that habitat. Then at least I have something I will actually USE.
Now you may think I'm over reacting. But please consider that, I have debated with myself, TWICE, and come up with a choice of my own; that I have dreamed for so many days about how many dragons I can finally bump to level 20 with my hard-earned roses. All in vain, because BFS made a choice for me already, without me even knowing. Maybe BFS is afraid people forget to turn in their roses before end of event, but can we at least know this is what gonna happen beforehand? There is something about being considerable, and there is something about spoon-feeding your player, and I think BFS is crossing the line here. I do hope my point of view can be seen by BFS somehow, and for next event, they can either truely give the choice to players, or tell players up front what will happen with the unturned-in roses/berries/fireflies/whatever.
OK enough ranting. Going back to sulk. This just ruined my day.

Im sorry that this had happened to you. However, in the info screen for the event, it said that any unspent roses would automatically be spent on prizes at the end of the event. Only then if you did not have enough to reach the next prize, those roses would be converted to treats. It's worked this way for the past few events. It's unfortunate for those that would rather have a bunch of treats than the prizes, but I'm sure this was a conscious decision by BFS. A couple of million treats is still a good amount, and I hope your dragons enjoy them considering the hard work you put in to get them!

While I understand your frustration, it said quite clearly in the help, that any treats you didn't turn in, would be turned in automatically at the end.

Oh I guess I should take back half of what I said in this case then. It's a shame that after so many events, all I remembered is something like "unspent roses/whaterever will be turned into gems/treats". Can't believe I missed a big chunk of text!
However, I still hope BFS can offer us options of what we want to do with our hard-earned items. In the past events before Iceberry, we get gems in exchange and I can understand BFS doesn't want to make events opportunity for player to earn large amount of gems. But now with gems turned into treats, is it really neccessary? I can see many lay back players not getting enough for even the 2nd-last goal. And frankly, the petal path is so ugly it hurts my eyes, and I can imagine lots of players would opt for more treats than wasting 550 roses (roughly 2-3 million treats?) on that thing.
PS: Yeah, my now 20-level pepper dragon says the treats are yummy

I got about 8.6 million treats in one park and 9.3 m in the other. (I guess I'll feed some dragons although that's never been important to me.) I deliberately stopped collecting before the second Thorn because I knew I wouldn't make it to the Omnitat without spending money. I'm still trying to resolve the Iceberry event so I need a break from events! Still, Dragonvale is hands down one of the best games around. The extra breeding cave was the best feature of this event. Prizes, meh.

Evidently so! My lvl 41 park (that actually WANTS the treats) gets them in MUCH less numbers than the level 60 parks do. Thousands (yes, hundreds of. But I got fewer treats than I had in my, much depleted, treat box!) instead of millions.
I was really hoping we would have a chance of buying the habitat with gems... The last sevetal events i sadly did not get the final prise but hopeful i could buy. I did not have any friends to send gems/roses or whatever don't know how much it helps but i'm level 60 and play several times a day. Live check to check now so i can't afford to buy additional roses or whatever the event calls for but have probably spent hundreds in the past and do believe money well spent on a game i love! Still sad... On the xmas i was not able to log on the game for several days due to crashes and could not get an upgrade option so did not even get the 2nd snowflake and could not get any help from bfs.. I have almost all the other dragon's but guess I'll never have that now unless they make snowflake avalable in beb... Love this site!! Always helpful!

I bred a second snowflake 1 using snowflake 1 & prism. I've only tried this combo a couple times so I haven't gotten anything else. I have yet to get another snowflake breeding snowflake & aurora. However, it is probably just a matter of time. Although I don't have definitive proof, I believe it should be possible to get all 4 snowflakes using the new breeding methods as long as you have 1 snowflake. Why not try whenever you have nothing else to breed for?

I love my vine dragon avatar created by ElektronX. Now, if only BFS would add it to the game...

Not that I know of. There's an update in the App Store, you could try that. I was able to get all my rewards before doing the update.
I couldnt go in. Updated the app. Still cannot go in. Power cycled. Still no go
