Collecting Star Dust
Can be obtained through the following methods:
- Complete tutorial: 50 (one time bonus)
- Party Hats: 5 each, Max/Day 10
- Treats: 2 each, M/D 40 (Diminishing Returns)
- Colosseum: 25/20/15, M/D 25
- Hatch/Sell Eggs: varies, M/D 40
- Collect Income: 2 each, M/D 40 (Diminishing Returns)
- Obstacles: 2, M/D 10
- Spend Gems: 1 to 1 ratio, M/D 40
- Receiving Gems/Treats: 5 each, M/D 120
- Quests: varies, M/D 20
- Find Stars: White 10, Purple 10, Gold 10 gem, M/D 30

With the new event starting in a dozen hours or so, can I suggest you don't hatch eggs unless you need to, load up a quest in Kairos Perch and holding off using Kairos power until after the event starts to get the most out of it.

I already don't want this event to ever go away! It's so pretty! I'm debating if I want to spend gems on the Twilight Tower. I really liked all of the event backgrounds and miss them when they're gone...

I just hope that I get all the prizes this time... I'll be on vacation from May 2nd to May 9th... so while I may give a few minutes to Dragonvale, I'll be much busier at Disney World with my family.

And I found a sparkly star thing on a path (similar to the golden egg from the Easter event). It was purple in color. I tapped on it and got 10 dust, no gem.
Huzzah, I found a second one (gold, this time). T'was worth 10 dust again, no gem.
And a 3rd (white). Worth 10 dust, no gem.
Upon finding the third star thingie, my Visitors' Icon ceased changed to no longer having star dust on it.

Event is the same length as the previous. Same cost for final reward.
Hopefully gift limit is 120 per day and we have two double weekends (likely first one this weekend).
If that is the case people should be able to achieve everything just the same way they did the last.

I got 20 from questing. As expected, no stardust for gems sent prior to event start up. Thank you for pointing out not all stardust is gold...I will go look again with a fresh perspective. As always, game crashed on social menu, so came here to check in. Koala everyone!

Okay, it's confirmed. For collecting gifts, only those given AFTER the event started count. (Sorry about that, folks, but I saw your gifts and gave back... remember this for doubles!)

OMGosh. I missed it the first time around. I have 1100 gems and I'm so tempted!!!! Should I? Those who have it - is it worth it? Somebody. Anybody. Just tell me what to do! LOL

I was hoping that I could build up a gem stash before the next event started. Hah! There is no stardust reward for spending gems. 30 days to earn 9,000 stardust. 300 per day. I have no obstacles to clear. With one double gem weekend, I'm gonna be in trouble. If there are two, I might make it.
I need gem swapping buddies. Anyone?
