Guess we will know for sure tonight, but

If it's indeed true that we only receive 5 stardust per gem/treat,  play styles for many of us will change.  I am not in favor of that.

Thanks, Myke! That is exactly the info I came to find. Was going to start looking for hidden stuff and didn't know if we were searching for the wizard or stars. Love this event, think it may be my favorite by far. The shooting stars are so much fun and the darkness and glowing stuff, so much goodness!

Now I have to decide whether it is worth buying gems in my secondary park to get. I need 321. So I'd have to either spend $10 and probably squeak through. OR $9.99 + $1.99...

Man, I really like Noel DePlante. Heehee. Might be a bit envious of his wizard robes! Those constellation sleeves are totally awesome.

A while back, during the valentine's event, we had a discussion about the diversity (or lack thereof) in DV. With Eloni from the last event and Noel in this one, it looks like BFS is starting to try and fix this problem!

Yep, I'm guessing it will get bigger/closer as the event progresses.

I love the animation on the Star Fall Monument! Sadly it's only visible when you zoom in on it.

So does the tower allow you to have a night sky, kind of like it looks with this event (without the shooting stars)? I do think this event is beautiful - this is the first time I've actually seen the various lamps on my islands light up, and it looks fantastic!

With that said, at the end of the egg hunt event I said to myself that I hoped there would not be an event for a good couple months, as I find them kind of stressful. Well, here we go with another one after just a couple days, lol. I agree with lemmyloop - I think I'm going to just participate in this one passively.

Yes, and all the other backgrounds from all the other special events.

It's mostly a cosmetic change, but there are several dragons that can only be bred during certain times of day, so the Twilight Tower can help with those.

I do think this event is beautiful - this is the first time I've actually seen the various lamps on my islands light up, and it looks fantastic!

Actually, the glowing effects are all brand new.

Surprisingly (from me), not a pun, just an observation: Lyrid meteor shower peaks on April 23, which is a Thursday. There being no special "weekend" in sight that I know off, just warning you, don't get caught off-guard!
