Sorry for those of you who are not having much luck during this event. I think I may be hogging it all. Not sure what I did differently, but it seems I’ve gotten the perfect line up of dragons from the 12 golden/mystery eggs I’ve gotten:
Opulent, twin opulent, twin rift opulent, regal, twin rift opulent, twin regal, twin rift regal, scarab, twin scarab, Djinni, twin rift scarab, then twin Djinni has been the order. I just need a rift Djinni and then I’m all set. I’ve got the egg pedestals of opulent, regal, and scarab too. I feel very lucky, especially seeing all the posts on Facebook and here that show how others have been having no luck. I’ll try to release the koala that seems to have flocked to my park. Hope things improve for you all!
I'm going to buck the trend and say I hope they do more events like this one.
Usually I am struggling through, trying to get enough event currency to buy ONE of each dragon. And not really known what to breed for anywhere but in the Co-op cave. This is going back more to early events -- I've got all three versions of two of the dragons plus a Scarab dragon, despite missing one doubles day entirely and not looking for golden eggs most of them. I've had things to breed for in all my breeding locations. And there are still days to go to try and get the last dragon.

I’ve lost count of the regals. I think 10 at this point. Mostly rift ones today. I did end up getting a scarab somehow...woot...
🙄nothing like bangin out breedings for more of the same. Hopefully they listen and change formats.
I'm hopeful, but they've shown a trend that they've stopped listening to the players. We've had 3 recent events with dragons you can't afford to purchase without cash. The first we complained and they fixed it when they had other issues and gave us all 1000 extra currency, allowing us to afford the limited dragon that first weekend.
The second was the Starfall dragons, which I gave them the doubt because we could clone them easily like all other Galaxy dragons. But you couldn't buy both, and there was a lot of grumbling.
So they follow it up with this new terrible event where you can't even be guaranteed to get the dragons if you spend money and roughly 1/3 of their players won't get the Djinni at all. The breeding odds are set so low that it's a joke, my main park is doing 20+ breeds per day just for the Djinni in the main and rift areas, and zero luck. That's a couple hundred attempts so far.
Throw on top of it the issue with removing free gems for players who spend money, and Backflip has quickly lost my status as favorite mobile developer, and they're dropping very quickly. I hope they turn things around, I do love the game, but their last email response to me really makes me doubt they can.
Yeah another Regal mystery egg... I am definitively starting beeing totally disgusted by that game.
I didn’t have an egg in my Park one day during doubles so they gave me a free mystery egg after emailing.....a regal. I explained how I’ve gotten regals in EVERY single mystery egg including all of the ones I purchased (except one). What do they do? Give me another regal.

I have to agree with vonfirmath - I am enjoying this event despite the Regal overload. After struggling and failing to get event dragons from the latest events this one is at least a sure thing of Some of the event dragons. And I had been leaving my caves idle except Coop while this event I am back to full on breeding everywhere which is a good portion of the fun. Maybe BFS could just tweak the percentages a bit but it is also fun to actually breed a hard to attain dragon... I scared the cats when I Whooped after breeding a Djinni.

I am with vonfirmath as well. I have not had the luck that N/A has had, but I managed to breed a Djini in the CBC and so I have one of each. I'm good with that - I can breed some more and I'm not bothered by not having a rift version. But I had decided that I liked this style of event before I even knew I'd get my Djini (and my misfortune - didn't have that one yet!).
The real reason that I like this event was that at no time did I consider buying event currency. There was no point. So, oddly, cheapest event ever for me I do believe
And since this is (almost) my first post in a long while - Hi Everyone! I faded a bit after the Easter event. Park Management (my 11 year old son) asked if I was still playing and when I said "not for a few weeks" he got near teary-eyed and said "but that was the first game we ever played together..." (he was 5 or 6 when we started).
So, I'm back, working on my egg collection, re-decorating the islands, and just about finished with upgrading all the habitats available in the rift (after which put some themes in there?), and of course looking to get my dragonarium fire-breathing again (need an Easter Fool's dragon (that's what he is calling the Yolkwing), Ts'aishen, and the new Glimmerwing / Starlight Galactic dragons).
Good to have goals!

So good to hear from 'carpe all the things' 😄 And truly excellent emotional leverage on the father by Park Management, grats😈😈 And helpful IMO to hear from a cluster of Valers offering a reality check; just solely from our park's PoV- if we DID have all the iterations of every dragon, what would be the fun in that...id be bored with just breeding for DC and food collecting...
So, leaving aside our delight in second guessing and chastising BFS, and some legit concerns about hidden gambling etc,
Yeah, instead of 3 dragons and a dozen or so peds to get in my Park (my Rift is a boundaryless beckoning babble of dragons yet to be brought into existence) before I get the magic fires... I'm back to trudging through half a dozen missing dragons, etc etc.... (sigh) Goals! Excelsior!! Carpe et educ tecum (according to G translate 😳)

I couldn't find it one of the doubles days, even though I spent a lot of time looking over and over, but I just assumed I had missed it somehow, not that it wasn't there at all. But apparently that's something that can happen if they gave you a free mystery egg to make up for it. Is there a way to tell. Not that I need another regal dragon anyway, but for future reference in case it happens again and I can't find an egg.
Well said Kiwichris , if it weren’t for all the trudging, where would the fun be. The exhilaration of finally getting that lone dragon for whom you have been breeding, working your tapping finger down to a bone, trying to get. And then to come here, to our home Vale, to share the joy of finally having success after so, oh so many failures, because no one in RL gets it. Like now...
I finally bred a Dijini!! I am so excited, doin’ a happy dance, sitting on the sofa, lol. Yay!
And with the same combo combo from day one, didn’t change it, just kept hitting retry. Current L20 and Chrome L20 in the EBI!

Oh okay, thanks. I thought maybe there was a way to tell that I didn't know about like during some events you can tell when you found stuff by looking at the people in the visitors box or some such. I know what you mean about an over abundance of regals. I've sold a couple already. That's unprecedented for me with an event dragon during an event.

Congrats on hangin in there for the DJINNI. After I got one in the Jumbo Gold Egg, I put it in the COOP and a friend bred it and got a twin DJINNI for us. And then I bred another in the COOP with DG’s (I think it was DG’s) DJINNI...I feel bad for all of you with the bad luck on this event. I got all the new Dragons AND Peds and only bought one Mystery Egg...🤔 I’m gradually getting the handful of Rift Peds I’ve been missing.

I'm going to agree here. You can officially breed for the dragon and you get random dragons. i like that as much as being able to buy a variable number of prizes with a set amount of event currency (although not as much as being able to save event currency, but that's officially gone now).
I haven`t been here for a while, have missed you guys! I am still my usual “happy” self.
This event is a joke, anyone with half a brain can obviously figure out that they are just trying to force us to buy their overpriced currency.
Djinni seems to be as possible to breed as Singularity is to clone. I am also still trying to clone Starlight and/or Glimmerwing from the last event. There are no coalas anywhere in sight...
Last but not least, I knew they would have those Galaxy Islands for sale after the event for one currency or another. They did this to me in the berry event, Frostival whatever, Mamas goody greenery or whatever it is called. Bought that stupid thing for around 8900 berries, 5 minutes later it was on sale for 35 gems.
My point being... this game screws you over and I am getting tired of it...
I know this is harsh, but this is just how I feel at the moment.

Rifted Twin Regal... Rifted Twin Regal... Rifted Twin Regal... Rifted Twin Regal... Rifted Twin Regal... Rifted Twin Regal... Rifted Twin Regal... Rifted Twin Regal... all I want is one Rifted Scarab from a Golden Egg. Trying to breed Rifted Gold this entire time with no luck. No Rifted Gold means no Rifted Loot means no Rifted Scarab.
I get the feeling no one at BFS has ever lived in a rural area. If you want to lead a 🐴, you put the 🥕 on a stick just in front of its nose. You don’t use a kilometer long stick.
Well Scarab to me is most people's Djinni. I have bred three Djinni dragons, none from eggs, but can't get Scarab even though I got Rifted Loot the first day of the event. I have tried in 3/4 of my breeding spots the entire time. It is my only epic I am missing so I will at least get it within a few weeks unless more epic dragons are released from the daily reward.
I liked the event at first and it was fun to get twins and rifted versions of a couple of the event dragons, but to get Regal rifted from the last 8 event eggs gets really old. Unless the odds of breeding event dragons are much higher or the odds of the eggs tweaked to maybe 15, 20, 30, 35 I hope to see the dragons available for an actual amount of currency for future events. I will not purchase event currency when the odds are stacked against me so high. Nope.
