I have a level 20 seed dragon in a habitat with the bloatato and curlyleaf, both level 20, 10 meta carotene ready and the meta carotene planter but the evolve button is greyed out...any ideas??
It's a shame that this event has been so error prone, it's distracted from a truly wonderful collection of dragons. They have so much personality! Karoot may be my new favorite.
Community gift arrived today. Anyone brave enough to open it and possibly be mildly amused? Mine is sat in social at the moment.
Ya, I opened it. A scorch dragon. I have so many dragons I need, not to mention so many twins and rifts but no, it's a dragon that I already have every combination of and then some. I must say mildly amused isn't really the emotion I'm feeling. Mildly annoyed is more like it. It's not even worth much DC. But I suppose I shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth.

This is the first time I've been so indecisive about how to spend my event currency. Since the growing of treats seems to be an Om of Noms thing, I'm not sure about the practicality of spending it all on planters, logs and barrels in hopes that they will be useful in a future event. I'm thinking about buying another seasonal theme since it's my favorite, and perhaps using the rest on a few decos that appeal to me. Decisions...decisions...Oh wizards please send me a crystal ball!

I wish we had the option to buy rift versions of the dragons. We won’t be able to breed them without certain treats in the future.

Hmm, I can’t test in my park cos I’ve just replanted food; but tapping my evolve buttons relists the steps, and doesn’t say ‘no longer available’ if you test with the other dragon with the same requirements (but don’t press evolve) is the evolve button available? Ie is it only this one dragon, or any of the event evolveable dragons that are now ‘unavail’ in your park?
Every time I've tried to evolve my dragon, it didn't work the first time. It took me a few minutes each try to figure out exactly what was wrong, but I always had something off. I wish the dialog box would tell you what you're missing!
One time I didn't have the dragon with the other two in the same habitat, or I had him with a different evolved dragon. Another time I had accidentally clicked one of my food earlier, and only had 5. Or they weren't ready to harvest, or I planted the wrong food. Try harvesting one, check the replant option, and verify it's the right thing. All I can suggest is to triple check each, it was always something I missed.
For all that have purchased the towering treat garden with spice, is it certain that it’s an additional farm, ie #12. Did any of you still have a grand treat farm and purchasing the towering treat garden still gave you additional treat garden?

I got the towering treat garden with spice, and now have 12 TT gardens. The new one has a golden cast to it. The turret edges of the 11 look like they’re made of stone, but the new 12th TT garden is made with gold rings around the turret,

I finally opened mine. It was a twin Ghostly Spectre. If I didn't have 4 in social already I may have been a bit happier about it. Bleh. Nevermind, eh?

I have to ask, is it 10 treat farms or are you counting 10 plants across 2 planters? It's a mistake I saw elsewhere. Someone counted each plant on the farm where the requirement is actually 6 separate farms.

Yep, that did it for me too 😂 plus a second Harvest theme, tried a mystery egg.... RMine, seriously! 👿 unsure what to do with the rest of Spice, has anyone done the math for best dc value for buy/sell pedestals?

So I bought the towering treat farm, the gold coloring convinced me. That leaves me enough to buy one of the 14 decorations I'm missing or the Mystery Egg. Given I'm missing so many of these decorations, I'm hoping they come back for a reasonable price during BeB.
Anyone know if the first mystery egg of an event (I'm showing 0 total) is more likely to be a missing dragon? I'm missing just one, Ghostly Decay, and it would certainly be worth buying the egg if the odds are higher to get it. But if it's going to be like the community egg, and be a repeat firefly rift twin, then I'd rather pick up a decoration. But missing 13 or 14 decorations isn't going to be much of a difference if that egg has higher odds.

So just went to cash in my spice, but all of the new dragons are gone! Bloatato, curlyleaf, Vidalia, and karroot. Am I missing something here?? I’ve already shut the app down and restarted the game. Just wanted to check with y’all before sending (yet another) email to backflip.
So we've probably got a few days before the Winter Whatever-it's-called event starts. Hopefully at least. We'll be swapping threads when it does, but bear with us if they spring a pre-event on us again.
I think a wise use of any downtime we get may be to try and get seconds of some of the Winter Dragons. That way they'll be easy to clone as fuel for whatever crazy new evolutions there'll be. Some might be a bit difficult (hopefully they don't make us evolve Starshine, that's almost Chromacorn mean) but others like Coal, (Re)Gift and Trinket shouldn't be too hard to clone...
Well dragonvale keeps crashing now, after several seconds.
the good news for me was, I managed to breed a rifted berry, just before the ending, had enough food to level him to,18,,had the planter,rain and food ready, and a 1000, and i have an aubergine. Yeah. So now I only need a kayu, and a ghostly oni. And since I bought a totem with a surprise egg, I was trying to do the same with kayu. Well you never know, but the game keeps crashing
My park is now crashing every few minutes, restarts. Tried it on my phone and ipad, same result. Also noticed that the new evolved dragons are no longer in the spice shop today for 7500 or 8500 spice. I assume you can still evolve them, but I wanted to buy one outright on my alt.
