Y'know, I'm certain that last year when Om of Noms ended, they gave you whatever treats had been growing in the two large event treat farms when they disappeared - it showed up in the gifts list when the island went away. And it's only right that they should, because you paid to plant the treats, after all. Yet this year they didn't, so all four of my parks are out 60 million each for the meta-carotenes that were planted there and went *poof*.

So we've probably got a few days before the Winter Whatever-it's-called event starts. Hopefully at least. We'll be swapping threads when it does, but bear with us if they spring a pre-event on us again.
I think a wise use of any downtime we get may be to try and get seconds of some of the Winter Dragons. That way they'll be easy to clone as fuel for whatever crazy new evolutions there'll be. Some might be a bit difficult (hopefully they don't make us evolve Starshine, that's almost Chromacorn mean) but others like Coal, (Re)Gift and Trinket shouldn't be too hard to clone...
I wholeheartly concur! Wondering what to breed before the next event begins? Multiples of your current Winter Dragons may just come in handy since BFS has initiated evolving dragons into permanent gameplay.

It appears that Coal and Gift will be the dragons to evolve in the winter event, with multiple evolutions on each. Might want to grab some extra over the next few days. The update is out, and you can start your daily gift collection today.

My iOS did not automatically update dragonvale. This is the third event I had to manually start the update. Apple users go to the App Store and find your update. I know people missed out on the pre event of Oms. Because of this

I already have a couple of each in the rift, so I plan to make 10+ more just to be safe using those. If you only have one, you can try cloning it in any cave. If you don't have any, you can look to clone one from a friend in co-op. Hopefully with this news, many players will be putting them up for co-op breeding. I expect they will also be breedable in a week, when the new event goes live.

for folk who hadn’t yet got all the OmNomNom foodie new types, this prior Event thread has the various mechanisms I’m pretty sure there are links from the Encyclopaedia Dracontine as well 🐨🐨🐨🍿🍿🍿

At least now I have time try for all of my missing Om of Nom Rifts. May be easier now that I figured out to use Monolith1 with Cactus to try for Cumberpatch as it contributes Plant, Water, Earth to the mix. Why ever was I trying with Mono6? No wonder I wasn’t getting it!
Love that Om of Noms has shown up as its own catagory in the Dragonarium. If I or one of our Magnificent Mods (hint, hint!) finds the time, maybe we could throw together the best breeding pairs for all the Om of Nom dragons and not just the ones from 2018. Happy hunting!
Would someone be so kind as to put a Harvest Moon in co-op, please?
I'm lacking one half of its breeding combo. So I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask for help in co-op while I work on breeding Harvest.
I put Harvest Moon up in the co-op for you. G’luck! An outstanding dragon, especially with the races that require either a plant, earth, or water element.

During this event, that is not an event, I thought it would be a perfect time to get rift versions of the dragons that I missed out on last year's Om of Noms.
I have been trying to breed a Rift Sprout and a Rift Seed so that I can complete the Evolved collection, but they are being rather elusive.
Have all the koalas left already? Please come back, the game isn't over yet. I'll make a brew of Eucalyptus tea and Eucalyptus infused scones and leave them in the whine room for you.
