Checked the do not sell square and yesterday my game played the smoothies it has ever done.😊 Nice not to be knocked out of my park 5 or 6 times and having to wait for it to reload. Yes I do not get the extra berries with Tolzar and only get one chest of "Cheerios" when I sign in but I'll do with out if my game plays this smooth every day.😊 Much more relaxing when your not having to fight it all the way.🌻 We are on a data system for our computer and the usage has gone down because of not a lot of downloads with the game. (My husband follows that very closely so as not to run out of data.) Cable does not come to where we live (country area). The others we looked into are just to expensive
At last, the Hidden Bolt ornamental dragon has landed to wrap up Xmas and bring in the new year. Spellmason, the first dragon of 2020!

Breeding combo: Hidden Bolt + any ornamental dragon
Breeding/incubation time: 30 hours
Tip: the magnificent MinyaZ informed us last week that the evolve dragons have hidden elements (thank you, minyaz and thank you, greggerman for testing this out). Taking this revelation into account and the fact that no ornamental dragons (except Lokilure and Gulletail) have the dark or lightning elements, the best ornamental dragons for Spellmason are the ones with the least number of elements — the new house ornamentals. In order of the lowest number of outcomes:
1. Reminiscence 2. Harmony 3. Yule 4. Venture
Note: there’s only a difference of one extra breeding fail separating each house ornamental dragon, so the odds are basically the same, just use what you have in the Vale and Rift. Remember, when breeding with one of these house ornamentals, ornamental dragons (excluding evolve ornamentals) are potential fails.
If you don’t have the house ornaments in the Rift or Vale, the next best dragons are Ornamental (18 hrs), Ribbon (19 hrs), and Twinkle (55 hrs). They all have the same number of outcomes, but it’s significantly more (over 20) than the house ornamentals.

Hi I don't think Lokilure has dark or lightning elements. Thanks for all of the great info.
You’re very welcome. MinyaZ informed us last week that the naughty ornamental dragons have hidden elements. Lokilure has plant, metal, and dark. This is in addition to its stated earth, cold, and fire. Check out the sandbox to see all the evolve ornamental breeding results.
Also, I forgot to mention that greggerman tested some of the evolve ornamentals to verify these hidden elements do result in additional breeding outcomes. Very sorry about that greggerman — THANK YOU SO MUCH!

A big Thank You to the awesome adlerist for doing the hard yards for us, once again, and letting us know the best dragons to use to breed the new Spellmason dragon. And for being so generous with sharing your dragons in co-op.
A few of the surface dragons have been in the limited section for the event (Festive, Eve). I bet Tusk will show up with the limited using Hidden Bolt.

I got mine with Ambrosia and Conch but wouldn’t recommend because of all the extra fails. I was going for Quintessence + the Surface dragons at the time. Just use cold, earth and water for less fails. 🐨

Got a e-mail from BF tonight and it says they identified an issue that was preventing Tolzar from appearing in some players parks and believe they have resolved the issue. Please let us know if you aren't seeing Tolzar in your park. So if anyone isn't seeing Tolzar or are having problems do let BF know. I don't let go easily with these kinds of issues and I'm sure I drive BF nuts. This is in response to the e-mail I sent last night telling them I had checked the do not sell space because of all the issues. Now I'll have to turn it back on so I know if Tolzar is there then turn it off again. Like I said with checking the do not sell space my game has run much smoother.🌻
Thanks for letting us know which dragons to breed Adlerist! This really helped me so much! None of the breeding apps were updated yet so I would've had to guess which Ornamental dragon to use and I would've guessed wrong and did verglace or something like that. I got Spellmason in the rift with Hidden Bolt and Harmony on the first try! That has never happened to me! Then I got it in the park with reminiscence and hb!! I sped it up with Kairos and Gaia then bred both spellmasons together and got the pedestal. All in one day! I am now done with the event and have everything. I cant believe it!!!! 🤗

It also comes with a 5.3% chance of breeding Spellmason, however there's a strong possibility of getting Wraith and Spark.
My luck is always terrible, so I'll give this a try in co-op while combining Harmony and Hidden Bolt in a runic breeding cave.
Thoughts and opinions anyone? I'm curious as to whether or not plain old Lightning would be any good. I'm thinking it would be worth a try because my Lightning is very high level and has better breeding odds.

Breeding or cloning with an elder primary dragon very slightly increases the chances of breeding rare/epic dragons, as long as the elder is one of the elements in the breeding pair (no adding extra, unnecessary elements). This is why a lot of players use elders in the co-op. If it’s not an elder the chances aren’t improved.
When you breed with a house ornamental, any ornamental dragon (except the evolves) are a potential fail. So breeding with Spellmason could have resulted in Dazzling or Twinkle, but both of these have 55 hour breeding times. 54 hours sounds like Aurora. If that’s what you got, then this is new information. Aurora and the Rainbow dragons shouldn’t be an outcome from Lightning + Spellmason. In two days, please let me know what you bred. Ugh, two days... so sorry you got stuck with such a long timer.
