Finally! I managed to breed Squish after many long fails and Leaf dragons. Like seriously, I've got enough Leaf dragons to make a forest now. 🍁🍂🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁
I think I'm going to go ahead and hatch this baby Squish. He does look really cute and I kind of want one hopping around the island. After all I can always buy his pedestal or try to Squish + Squish clone for another one.

I have been trying Squish/Squish cloning without any success - you will need some koalas.
If you could have gotten a dragon version of any DV crop, what would you have chosen?
Here is my ranking: (from looking at 200 spice planters)
1) Sarjin Pepper, Cube Tuber Bowl
2) Blushroom, kraken cabbage
3) talontatters, fiery fig
4) nubbleberry (what even is that?), jelly plant, zazzberries, unless it's a dragon pretending to be a bush anglerfish style... horrifying maw and all that, 5/5
Unsuitable: star pods, berry bauble, dragon fruit (in a tropical event maybe?), dragon snaps Already have: beanstalk, cacti, dragon root (kinda, too many purple harvest dragons), Omega sqash (kinda: gourd dragon), Jive, meta carotene, pumpermelons)
It strongly looks like the DV team votes on concepts, only then does the design. It's the only explanation in my mind by now for how dragons like sqash are chosen.
You can't even blame this on me disliking "so ugly it's cute" designs. This thing is just criminally bland.
Not even in the way of breaking news: "picture of sqash with googly eyes" claims to be dragon. I could never, ever have guessed what this dragon is /actually supposed to be/.
It's just. It's a pumpkin. A pumpkin with fur, horns and paws of some root digging animal.
Was able to purchase the last item in the event market to golden it, solid event imo, lovely dragons and loved the new dream theme! Using it for a Swagon/Fan-Inspired dragon themed island (including the 10th anniversary deco) 😄 Made sure to leave space for future Swagons!

It has been a great event at a more relaxed pace than some previous events. Managed to breed/clone most of the dragons, which helps with the enjoyment of an event. The new dream theme is amazing.
The Dream island theme is an absolute dream with dreamy bubbles drifting and popping around gigantic Alice in Wonderland mushrooms.
And don’t forget to pick up the new windmill and wheat patches. Here’s my autumn harvest island with a couple windmills, wheat fields, and Fuefuego fire for heat.

After the Candy Bash event when nearly every previous event dragon was available to select, there are a lot of dragons missed off this list.
I couldn’t use any of the dragons or eggs. 😔 I miss the days where new ones were included and it was a real treat at the end to get a new rift version or twin if you needed it.

I didn’t make the connection with Alice in Wonderland but that is where the giant mushroom/dream idea is from with the huge caterpillar who sits among the mushrooms and smokes rings while talking to Alice 😄 That story is such a trip!
The Autumn theme looks so cool! I like how the steps go in a circle like you can go around and around and up and down them all day.
Fuefugo’s ring of fire is some pretty great timing in that screenshot! 👌

There is no item called the pumpermelon orange square. Do you mean the bounteous basket or pumpermelons planter?
MaDa is referring to the Pumpermelon Orange block.
MaDa, Deca hasn’t been including the blocks in the event market. They cost 10 gems to unlock, so they’re reasonably priced. But if you would like to see some in the market, let me know at the start of the event and I can make the request. There’s no guarantee it’ll be added, but it couldn’t hurt to ask.

By its nature, Aubergine is rifted - if you co-op / breed in the Vale, is that how you’d get a normal version?

Yes, that’s correct. If you breed Aubergine + Aubergine in the Vale, you can receive an untraited version. The evolve breeding rule requires both parents must be the target dragon. This is also the only way to acquire a pedestal (outside of a mystery egg).
If you collect regular and traited dragons and pedestals, the most economical approach is to evolve two traited versions of the same evolve dragon. Then you can breed them together for the traited pedestal, and move the dragons to the Vale to breed the regular dragon and pedestal.

I too LOVE the new Dream Island Theme; love the bubbles, the colors, everything about it. Also LOVE the Autumn Harvest Theme because of the colors and falling leaves!. DECA did an outstanding job on both of them! ❤️👍🏻👏🏻😃 And @adleris, the two islands you posted are over-the-top amazing & gorgeous! Love them both❤️👏🏻 - am always amazed at the special illusion of different heights/levels that are able to be created with just our decorations. 😳😃 Looks wonderful! 👍🏻🥰 p.s. Meant to post that i too liked this event and felt it was relaxing. The way DECA runs their events is great. I used to HATE events because of the pressure of getting new items i could not possibly afford with the event currency. But DECA makes it fun and very do-able (perhaps more so because i am not new to DV?🤔). I truly NEVER thought i would say this but here i am; i am really looking forward to the next event!🤣

The event island will leave the Vale at the next daily reset. It’s easy to overlook the Silo when you’re playing. Choose your dragon now, so you don’t regret missing it later.
In addition, this is the last day you can earn Spice!
Squish will also depart at reset, and he’ll be taking his pedestal with him.
On a slightly more relaxing note, you have until 8 December at 8.00 AM MST to shop at the Copious Cornucopia.
And don’t forget, the Rate a Dragon threads will be locked on 8 December, along with the poll to vote for your favourite event dragons.

I was able to clone a second Squish for the pedestal, only now I realize that the pedestal looks so nice I want two of them. Just so I can have one on either side of my wheat field. 🌾🌾🌾
Everything on my Halloween/Autumn island looks so nice with all the wheat and the new dragons. I'm very happy with this event. 🧡🧡🧡
