Perhaps this is a stupid question, but can you evolve event dragons after the event ends? I've done a poor job considering my rift evolve dragons!
This is not a stupid question, it is a very good question. Yes, you can evolve dragons after an event ends - providing you meet whatever requirements needed. After an event it will cost 100 gems.
thank you! Why haven't I been saving all of the coal dragons I've gotten in the rift as fails for other dragons? Poor planning! I'd much rather spend iceberries than gems!
PSA: PURCHASE THOSE RUNESTONES AND ACTIVATE THE RUNIC BREEDING CAVES!
There’s one week left in the event, so if you’re planning on purchasing Runestones, now is the time. And if you have any Runestones left, use them now so the Runic Breeding Cave will be available for the full seven days.

If I breed a twin dragon in the RBC and breed that same dragon again in the RBC, can it result in a rifted version of that dragon?
You only need to breed the dragon once in the RBC as you can claim it as many times as you like from different RBCs.
Assuming that you don't have a twin in the Vale, the first dragon you claim in the RBC will be a twin, the next one will be a Rift Twin. Remember if you don't like the trait you are offered to close out and go back in until you are offered one that you like.

Thanks! I was hoping to avoid claiming the twin first

Wow thanks for the tip ! I could thus claim twice Zuni, first as a twin and then a rifted one which eludes me since it was issued. Case closed 👍

I’ve really need to remember to check breed times - first Zumi popped out of the CBC (woo!) then I emptied the CBC again in the morning and it was a poison (whoops)

Why, oh why, are the breeding percentages for the dragons required to breed the Limited dragons in the Rift so abysmal? I had to buy the last Limited because I could not breed the required dragons after days and days and days of trying, and now I have been trying for Snowball on all three parks since Zumi became available, and have not managed to breed a single Snowball. Don’t Deka realise that the fun in this game lies in actually being able to breed the dragons, not in tap, tap, tapping until we have enough Iceberries to buy them? Honestly, events have not been satisfying since Deka took over IMHO. The thrill of actually breeding a dragon is long gone. There! Whine done!

There were a lot of complaints about Backflip and the breeding percentages during their last years. Lots of Forum members threatened to quit the game. Unfortunately, difficulty breeding new dragons, especially epics has always been challenging.
The breeding percentages for last year’s Hallowe’en and Xmas dragons were very low. Deca has been a lot better since then. The co-op cloning percentages are still low for new limited dragons, but the breeding hint percentage is fair. Although bad RNG luck is always a possibility.
Deca has been listening to players’ feedback on their dragon designs, animation, and breeding percentages. The Rate a Dragon threads are the best way for players to have their voice heard, because the feedback is given to the entire DV team. It’s not filtered or summarised through managers or other individuals. I encourage you and others to leave your valuable input and observations on the Rate a Dragon threads, so Deca can continue to address concerns from all DV players. Thank you!

I’m going to get started on some of these Rate a Dragon threads so they’re not left to the last moment and it’s all stressful 😅
I NEED that adorable polar bear! So I better get going!
The grandest way to start a new year and end an event. Thank you, Judy. You’re absolutely smashing!
Champagne gems and hors d'oeuvre treats are sparkling in your park. Cheers to Judy! 🥂

Real life has me hard right now and I can barely visit my park once a day. And I’m only visiting the forum to pay my pledges in the limited comp. 😕
Edit: never mind, I just saw it on page 22, and I missed it all! 😭 I never got the pop up in game either. 😭😭😭😭😭

Three days to go before the RBCs depart - I’m currently on 287 dragons having used all but two of the caves so lots of claims available. Time to sit down and decide what I want to claim - I suspect I will be gracing a lot of twins and a few rifteds
Also I have enough berries to buy every dragon I don’t have and the pedestals, so my 660/692 Dragonarium will soon be 672/692 - not bad for someone who tapped out a few years ago and only came back in 2021!
Ps I’ve updated the base RBC checklist for all current dragons and used it to make a full list (including Galaxy and Rift-exclusives) for tracking dragons in general - HMU if you want a link. Also can you get non-twin rifted Galaxies?

Congratulations - that is a good number of dragons to have bred in the RBCs and your Dragonarium is looking great.
As a suggestion for what to claim - pick dragons that are hard to breed; dragons needed in locked combos; dragons with complicated parents/grandparents (for example Starshine - to breed you need Twinkle + Dazzling, but it is also used in the breeding combos for Chaiko and Yanghis)
Unless Deca introduce a way to breed Galaxy dragons in the rift, traited Galaxy dragons will always be a twin.

You've done very well. I'm not sure what my exact numbers will be, but I have not made that much ground. Good work.
