If you or any Forum member(s) want to coordinate a DragonVale Hobnob, whether it’s in Missouri or Montreal, I’m sure it’ll attract the interest of many members. I don’t know how many are willing to travel, but we’ve built many great friendships on the Forum, and I’m sure we’d all love to keep in touch outside of DragonVale. ❤️

PSA: You only have this weekend to complete the mega, 10 level, Spiral of Hypnosis Eggy Hatchy tower to receive the 500 Roses completion bonus.
Remember, the event island disappears on Monday, March 7th at 8.00 AM MST and Eggy Hatchy will depart with it. So the leisurely week to complete the tower has been significantly reduced.
Each stage of the Spiral of Hypnosis is worth 70 Roses. If you finish the tower, you’ll earn a total of 1,200 Roses (includes the 500 Roses bonus).

In the market it shows 8/10 regular Omnitats and 8/10 large Omnitats. Can I buy 2 of each or does 10 represent how many Omnitats I can have in all? Thanks for help!

You can only buy 2 more Omnitats. 10 represents how many total Omnitats you can own, regular and large combined together.
If you can afford it, I’d recommend purchasing the large habitats, unless you’re confident you’ll never want to upgrade them. Because upgrading from a regular to a large costs the same as just purchasing a large.

I’ve been disappointed with this event, breeding odds are far too low and event twins have been non existent. I’ve been breeding up to 10K E every day in both my parks and getting nothing, and only a couple of them in the breeding caves, going non stop. And such long fails, too. Be glad when it’s over, I’m heading for the whine lounge with Karoot cake

You said it… everything you mentioned, in Spades! 🥂 I had to use Roses to buy all but 1 Dragon, which made me hafta use real $$$$ to buy more Roses so I could buy an Omnitat (couldn’t let an Omnitat get away). I had 2 Masques and 2 Scorns in my park but couldn’t breed the Mesmer and NO breeding combos to get a Rifted Masque or Scorn to even try for a Rifted Mesmer!
Not 🍷ing, ‘cause last event I was able to breed EVERY ONE… it all seems to balance out… but I could use a shot of Southern Comfort… maybe 🥃 🥃 shots. This was a tough one.
I’ll chime in on that. I managed to get all of the Limited dragons and I was able to complete the Eggy Hatchy challenges. But I wasn’t able to breed a single event dragon. The only place to breed an event dragon is in the coop. It wasn’t cooperative this time....hehehe. I burned through a lot of gems but with the long fails and tight odds, I got skunked....had to use roses to buy all of the event dragons and their pedestals. I can usually get at least one or two of the Event dragons.
On the brighter side, I was able to get traited versions of a few of the other dragons that were breedable during this event.

Gaia’s cool down timer has been reduced from 4 days to 3 days

thanks for this post, crusty! you have expressed my feelings a lot nicer than i would have! i also experienced what you did, very discouraging, to say the least. this has been the worst deca event for me. not fun, 39 days of grinding for event currency and i still don’t have enuf to get everything i wanted. and i won’t even start on cupido.
maybe i’ll see u in the lounge, i’ll bring the triscuits and boursin and a nice cabby!
PSA: In response to your requests, Deca has added the dream element to several Sweet Dreams dragons
Lightmare, Lumineux, and Lullaby all have the dream element and new breeding combos.
New breeding hints
• LIGHTMARE = MOON + DREAM • LUMINEUX = LOVE + dream element • LULLABY = SERENITY + dream element
As a results, the three dragons now contribute all 10 elements. We have a request in to change this so each dragon only contributes its original elements. No word yet on Deca’s decision.
I know there were a lot of complaints about the lack of the dream element, specifically for these dragons. And there were complaints about the breeding combos. If you would like to change and edit your ratings or comments on the Rate a Dragon threads, or your feedback on the Vote for the Top Sweet Dreams Dragon, so your responses reflect the new changes, it would be greatly appreciated. The threads will remain open until March 9th. Thank you!
I'm not sure if I missed this being mentioned, but the Dreamcloud is no longer a Cold decoration, but a Melody decoration.
Thanks for posting this! Still awaiting a response from Deca about Lightmare, Lumineux, Lullaby, and the Dreamcatcher deco gaining the much needed and much requested Dream element.

It’s perfectly fine to post here as well, but only the posts on the above linked thread will be passed on to Deca, because it’s too time consuming for me to go through all the pages of the event thread.
