Would it be possible for the Breeding Simulator to say which traits and alignments to avoid so you don't get any Rift-exclusive breeding fails? Once you see them a bunch it's easy to recognize based on elements which ones to stray away from but it would save a ton of thinking if the simulator could tell you.
