I have opened and closed several times. Looked for older versions. Everything works, except the checklist page has #N/A, and the checklist info page data is blank.
Thanks for any help. I don't want to load my data again. It took a LONG time!
Sorry, I don't have any more ideas to help you recover your data.
It is a huge job loading all the data. I really hope that Quil can help you get your Compendium up and running again.
Update: I found an older copy. On a computer, I opened the problem sheet. Then File - See Version History (Ctrl-Alt-Shift-H) The copies went back several months. I selected one just a few weeks old. And My Data is There!!!! Only the recent updates to add. Thanks MinyaZ for all your help.

That is great news theresa. I'm so pleased that your Compendium is up and running again.

Hi Quil!
I'm just now discovering your beautiful compendium! I was hoping you could elaborate on a few points. I paused playing for a couple years, and I'm back at it. In light of that, I've been primarily "catching up" by using social cloning. But i think i've been going about reading/interpreting the info on the compendium incorrectly.
For instance, with buttercup: One of my friends has been sharing a buttercup, and based on the combo finder tab, buttercup and giddle seems to be the best chance if I dont have one with a 13% success rate. However, when i put this combination with social caves in the breeding simulator tab, it does not appear as a possibility. I also see that social number is 10% with one parent. I'm 1000% certain this is user error!

Hi @faeriedust09, Are you able to scroll up? It looks like you may be part way down the page. My Compendium has Buttercup showing as a result of Buttercup and Giddle. 😊
Does look like you were just scrolled down, as MinyaZ suggested. I've done that myself a few times too.
Buttercup is indeed a 10% cloning chance, it seems Deca really loves to either make a dragon 1% or 10%, especially recently. Either it's nearly impossible, or it's too easy. I do hope they find a balance one of these days.
Giddle and Buttercup gives you a chance to both clone and breed the dragon, as it fits both rules, resulting in 13%. It drops slightly due to the larger result set, getting 10% + (3 * 0.69)% -> just over 12%.

Eep I just saw yalls messages! How embarrassing if it’s just a matter of scrolling up 🤪 I was on an actual desktop so I’m surprised if that’s the case! (Ironic how my office’s screens are the best for playing DragonVale!) I’ll delve some more into it in the morning.
I’m not sure if this was operator error, but I believe the table for the quests has gotten too small. I received a quest that started with “z”. But when I looked in the quests part of the compendium it only went to “year of the dragon”.

You’re right, thank you for mentioning this. Six quests that start with 'Y' and 'Z' are cut off.
If anyone needs these quests immediately (before Quil has updated the Compendium), the sandbox has the quests, and so does DV Wiki.

Hey guys! Just wanted to bring to your attention that the current gemstone dragon (Diamond) and season dragon (Spring) are still not marked active, but the previous ones are.
I’ve found out that on my copy of the compendium, in the Dragonarium page, on filter mode, when I select monolith in “include any”, it’s showing only two dragons: Moriante and Tranquil (without even having monolith trait). I wonder is this problem only on my side or is it a small issue! I’ve checked other elements and they all seemed correct.

I recently got this message while using the Compendium: '⚠️ Warning: Some formulas are trying to send and receive data from external parties. Learn more Allow access'
I assume this is okay but just wanted to check as I've never received the message before?
Edit: also, when I was looking at possible results of combos I was considering, Moon and Sun both showed up as possible results despite the time of day being night and Sun not being in the combo. Specifically for anything using Snowflake 2, but I haven't checked any other combos that use both cold and lightning elements.

Google made a recent change to their APIs, and all calls to imported data now pop this message up one time for each copy of a sheet. The Compendium imports data from a sheet that has images of the eggs and the source data for all of the dragons. I saw this message for the first time Friday, when I was updating some egg images in the source sheets / drives. Clicking allow once will fix it, but it may become painful as it appears you can only click it on the desktop version of Google Sheets and not the mobile app, and not all users use the desktop version. There are a lot of open tickets over this change, as many developers rely on this functionality. If you're mobile only, you can probably open it in the browser on mobile rather than in an app, and you'd be able to click it.
Someone has posted a script that can be run that sounds like it may prevent this from occurring on copies once it's approved on the original, I'll try to look at it closer this week and see if it does fix the issue.
For the day / night issue with Moon and Sun, good catch. It looks like they switched the night flag from a string of "TRUE" / "FALSE" to a boolean value of true/false. I'll have to make some changes on the backend and the data should update later today.

This has been fixed. Just a typo in the pre-filter.
reisfrxsser and kaleni#0146, I’ve moved your posts to the Bountiful Picnic thread since they are off-topic for the Compendium. Just wanted you to know where they are and assure you they have not been not deleted.

The Compendium seems to be bugging with breed results. I put in Tansy + Kroki on the Normal Cave. For some reason a bunch of Rift-exclusive dragons are showing up in the possible results, not all of them but also not just ones that would have happened if I were breeding in the Rift, for instance Ghast is in the list despite not being a possible result even in the Rift. Dragons of every element including Cold, Metal, Dark, and Light are showing up as well as the Snowflake 1, Nightbloom, and Solarflare Dragons. Is this an issue exclusive to me or are other people experiencing this as well?
