Hmmm with my 60 Paradise Habitats from last time it is going to take far too much currency to be able to upgrade them to Giant habitats.
Do the giant ones still have the same footprint or are they larger?
Cesspit#5766
Large is the same size because some have already upgraded, but I would guess the giant will be bigger.
That's good to know amos. I don't really want to redecorate my whole island, so will only upgrade to the Large Habitat. How much DC does a Large habitat earn? I assume it only increases the number of dragons by 1 as well?

Has anyone upgraded a regular Paradise Habitat already? I'm wondering what's the cost to get from large to giant? I hope it's also 1,500. One giant costs 3,000 so to go from a regular to giant should be 3,000 too right?
I've got a vague memory at one of the previous events, it costs more to upgrade twice than to outright purchase a giant one. I don't remember which habitat was this.
To the best of my knowledge its 1500 to large then 3000 to giant so it's much cheaper to just sell then buy the Giant. My problem is I have 69 smalls after the last 2 events when there was no limit. Its going to be a pain to move around 240 dragons .....

Got the timer for Valeodon with adlerist in the coop. Did the icon check and success - hoping for a twin!
I am so pleased you bred Valeodon, and the mega megalodon will be in your park — congratulations! I hope there’s enough room for him. 🦈

unknownlance I upgraded a Paradise habitat (kinda by mistake) & can report that unfortunately it costs 3000 to upgrade to a giant one. I really messed up there!
I was just about to write a PSA about this. Some players have reported there’s no confirmation / warning when you upgrade from a regular to a large Paradise habitat. They were trying to check the size of the upgraded habitat, and didn’t intend to purchase it right now. Another player said there isn’t a pop-up confirmation if the habitat upgrade is the same size (the regular and large Paradise habitats are both 5x5). Although, that’s hardly a good reason to not have the confirmation show.
I just checked, and the giant Paradise habitat has a larger footprint (6x6) than the regular and large versions (5x5). (Attn: CesspitX)

esme, did you receive a pop-up confirmation / warning when you upgraded from a large to a giant Paradise habitat? I’d like to bring this issue up with Deca, but I need more info. Thank you!

You’d have to move most of those dragons into the Hibernation Cave and buy different habitats for them. To purchase another (giant) Paradise habitat, you can only own eight at the most. So you’d have to sell 61 Paradise habitats.
I thought I had a lot at 39! I’m only using five, because there’s never any space in the Vale. I don’t mind selling some, but I don’t think I’m willing to sell 31 just so I can purchase a giant version. I’d like to have more than nine total in the hope that one day we’ll have an Expansion Extravaganza with more than one lonely new island, and I can have more paradise in the Vale.

I face this issue too. Plus, if we sell those above the limit, we can only have a maximum of 9. Shucks.... I guess 69 x 4 >> 6 x 9 so we are at the better end of the deal. Except that I do want to have the giant one! Haha..

The Large holds 5 and max dragoncash is 250,000. The giant holds 6 and max dragoncash is 500,000.
I will also be using the Large for most of mine as I like all my islands already with the Paradise habitats. I may be able to squeeze a couple giants in on my hawaiian island, but will have to see.

For those of us with lots over the limit the only option is to pay more currency and upgrade twice. I may do that for a few, but definitely not all. The Large will probably work best for me anyway since they are the same size. I may only upgrade them for the extra currency anyway as I like the even numbers so I can have adult regular and baby twin sets in mine right now or I can put more dragons in and have to split a regular/twin set between two habitats.
adlerist no, I didn’t receive the usual confirmation. I was just checking the size & expecting to be able to reject it, when there it was! I’m going to have to do the same with one on the other side of the island as I need symmetry but I think I’ll leave the others alone. I have 19 Paradise habitats but clearly that’s not very many at all 😀
(Sorry for not quoting but I usually mess that up too 🙈)
Hi everyone, quite often I don’t get doubloons when I collect from habitats, I wait until the little chest is showing and occasionally I get doubloons as well as coins but usually not, is this normal or is it me?

At the start of the day you will get a lot of doubloons when you collect from your habitats, and this will slow down as the day progresses. It is quite normal. :-)
In this event so far, it’s looking like Enfis is the new Aurora! I’ve gotten several Enfis fails already. Oh well, at least the breed time is considerably less than the Aurora breed time!

The Galaxy Egg of Mystery is back in the rift market for those that need them.
Many, many cheers to MinyaZ for requesting the Galaxy Egg of Mystery. There are loads of Discord players who love you for this! They’ve been dying to complete their Galaxy twin and traited-twin collections. You are their hero!
For those who need to breed a traited Delicia in the Rift, you can now obtain a traited Glimmerwing from the Galaxy Egg of Mystery. G’luck!
I have a request: Could they *please* reset the prices of the special Mystery Eggs (or at the very least, the Galaxy Mystery Egg) when it comes out for a new event? I have one park that needs Eridanian in the rift. I have it twinned, but it can’t be bred in the Runic Caves and it can’t be bred outright in the rift. The only option I have is to get lucky with a mystery egg one way or another, but right now the Galaxy egg is 90,000 etherium for me, and the price has never reset in the several years they’ve been doing this. That’s 90k for a less than 5% chance it’ll be the one I need, with no hope of it ever getting cheaper. There’s just no point in trying at that cost, so this dragon is a dead end for me unless I get some completely random luck (and nothing so far in the apparently 20 Galaxy eggs I’ve gotten from the daily login bonuses since they started, nor the countless regular mystery eggs I’ve tried).
If the Galaxy egg at least reset to the base price the occasional time they made it available, I’d be willing to sink some resources into trying for it each event, which helps Deca in the long run. As it is, though, neither one of us is a winner.
Edited to add: Or, y’know, just make them breedable in the Runic Caves - I suspect a lot of people would be happy with that…

The ridiculous pricing of some of the special eggs makes them impossible to get. There should be a reasonable cap or a reset every single time they are released.
I don’t even know why they released Galaxy dragons in the rift since we can’t breed for them or even twin rift dragons since there is not a cave to get twins. It is maddening that a lot of long time players can never get non twin rifted galaxy dragons or eggs since they had twins of them when they were added to the rift. The only way would be to sell off all your twins and twin rifts and try to collect them all again in proper order.
I have dragons in my gifts that I save for donations. My reward dragons have a donate button; the dragons from runic caves do not. Is this a glitch?
Rifted dragons can be pulled immediately and donated. If they are twins or ghostly dragons you have to pull to the nest to hatch first and then donate. You also can’t automatically clear runic cave choices or gifts from DECA. They also must be sent to the nest to either sell, keep or donate.
My rifted dragons from runic caves do not have the option to donate. My rifted reward dragons do.
Thank you to Deka for the explanation of the currency changes, but what I want to know is why they think it is “vital for us to spice things up and tweak events to keep it exciting and fresh.”? I for one don’t appreciate constant changes and tweaking. It doesn’t “spice things up” for me, I just find it irritating, but then maybe I am getting too old.

When I asked for Deca to include the Galaxy EOM in this event, I also requested that they reset the price or drop the cap.
One of my parks needs 1 more Rifted Galaxy and the EOM price is 172,500E the other park needs 2 and the EOM price is 225,000 (which is the cap). Of course one of the Rifted Galaxy dragons I need is a Rifted Glimmerwing which is needed to breed Delicia. In an earlier event, I spent several million Etherium trying to get a Glimmerwing without success. I'm hoping that one day I might get the Rifted Galaxy dragons through my daily log-in Galaxy.
As amos mentioned they can't be bred in the rift so why were they rifted originally.
Can I suggest that at the end of the event when adlerist creates the Best Dragon Poll and asks for comments, that you make this comment there so that she can pass it on to Deca.
