Thanks, but I'm not trying to get Wrath. The breeding pair for Kage is Eldritch + Wrath. I was trying with my Eldritch in co-op and Crumble's Wrath. But then after a day or two they took down their Wrath, so now I only have my Eldritch without the other half.
It says the Kage breeding percentage is higher than the clone percentage. That's why I need someone's Wrath to pair with my Eldritch. I figured it would be easier than dumping one of my Elders in co-op and hoping for the best with a 1% chance.
If you still need my Wrath is up and we are friends. 🍀
I have been trying to breed a traited Malefice on and off all event. But I haven't managed to breed one - with or without a trait. I've changed my avatar in the hope that will change my luck. 😊
Something not event related, but all the ads I am offered to watch recently are all for Last Fortress Underground - a Zombie Apocalypse game. There are many different versions, but all for the same game. I would like to see some different ads please. 😊
Kage may be the master puppeteer, but MinyaZ is pulling all the twin strings!
Many cheers, MinyaZ! There’s nothing like a shadow, of a shadow, of a twin Kage! Supernatural gems and transcendental treats are floating to your Vale.

Well singleimage, I bred an Eldritch with yours first try. Sadly, it's not a twin. I'll keep trying! Thanks!!
OMG! Thank you so much for the twin Eldritch, Elizabeth!
You’re AMAZING! I can’t believe you did it and so quickly! I was only able to get us twin Bone dragons. I hope that helps a little. If you don’t have a twin Porcelain, you could evolve it.
I sent you gems and treats, thank you so much!! I can finally get a traited Eldritch by claiming it!
Check the Dragon’s Week thread for the list of dragons that were released and their breeding information. Enjoy!

Great! But the egg hatchy has now become so much more difficult! Plenty of high scoring dragons , but much more difficult to get the levels and numbers of elemental dragons 😩

For weeks, the Vale dragons had been looking for Whitbee. When he suddenly appeared in the Knoll Meadows, they quickly gathered around him. 'Whitbee, where have you been? Halloween is almost here and Candy Bash is practically over!' exclaimed Dracabra. Whitbee was exhausted, but enthusiastically told everyone about his adventures in the Upside Down. He tried his best to describe the portal, the dragons, and the reversed, darkened Vale. The Vale dragons did not look amused. 'I knew you wouldn’t believe me,' said Whitbee. 'I can hardly believe it myself! So, I brought something to show you'. From his hat, Whitbee pulled a small spore. He set it down, and it immediately consumed the grass around it and started to grow. Within a minute, the spore had devoured the ground around the dragons; they quickly moved so they wouldn’t be consumed as well. The spore was no longer a spore. It had grown and inflated into a gigantic creature. HYDNELLUM rose from the meadow floor, stretched his wings, and pulled his face towards the moon to encourage the night. The dragons gasped in horror and delight. 'Whitbee, we believe you,' whispered Dracabra.
Hydnellum is the co-op with tons of goodies, awaiting the trick-or-treaters. Koala candy corn to all!
Breeding hint: WENDIGO + apocalypse element
Breeding/incubation time: 24 hours
Status: Limited tier, 7 days
Contributing elements: fire, earth, cold
Breeding percentages: breeding hint 4%; 1% co-op clone
Breeding tip: Wendigo + Burrow is the best breeding combo in the Rift, because Burrow pays out the maximum amount of Candy (even though it has a 12 hour breeding time), and it doesn’t add any fails. Wendigo fulfils the Apocalypse element, but if you want to use an Apocalypse dragon, Zero doesn’t add any unnecessary fails.

I was able to breed Hydnellum. Hydnellum has the Apocalypse element so if you put Wendigo and Hydnellum together you have breed + clone chance. Koala all.
(The final Rate a Dragon thread for Hydnellum will be released on Wednesday, October 26th along with the poll to vote for your favourite event dragons. All Rate a Dragon threads will remain open until November 2nd. Thank you, everybody!)

Thanks adlerist . I am relieved to hear that Whitbee managed to find his way back to the Vale safely. Although I'm not so sure about the dragon he brought with him. Hydnellum looks very scary. I hope he will play nicely with the other dragons. 😊
So far, the only thing I have found about the Hydnellum dragon that’s truly horrifying is the price.
Hydnellum broke the record. It is the most expensive event dragon in DragonVale history.
I told Deca, for its Rate a Dragon price rating, I expect Hydnellum will have the lowest rating ever.
Hydnellum: breaking records and hearts everywhere.

Harwood and Tornorr put the 'Happy' in Happy Halloween!
Thank you so very much, tornorr and harwood! Halloween is now complete! Ghastly gems and trick-or-treat treats are on their way (the headless horseman pony express is a little slow with no head, but they’re in the mail). 🎃🐴

The Hydnellum in my park seems to have a manufacturing defect. The wing on the far side of the dragon is rarely visible. At first I thought this was a one winged dragon, but there is a second wing that is only visible for an instant after Hydnellum stamps it’s its* feet at one point. The rest of the time the second wing is not visible, even when the dragon is flying which is a bit disconcerting (and it took my Hydnellum three days to begin flying). If this is really a one-winged dragon then I hope Deca did extensive wind tunnel testing before releasing the dragon. But I jest. This is a drawing error because the second wing is briefly visible at certain times. Can this be fixed?

The lighting on the loading screen is so dark that I actually didn't recognise the dragon on it as (the super bright in-game) Hydnellum until today. Something about the relative shading compared to the Vampyr threw me off I think.
Something I'd really like as a new feature would be a way to lock some of the Day/Night dragons into a form separate from the theme/time of day. I prefer (or at least am happy with) most of the Night forms but Night!Rotblossom looks so tired lol, I feel kinda sorry for it.

I was thinking Night & Day habitats would be cool, for this type of thing.
