Is it possible to get new releases from daily reward EoMs? (There was a case recently where it might have happened but I don't know if that was a bug, because it was a leaked dragon rather than one properly in the game.)
I ask because I'll get my rare daily reward EoM after the next limited is released. Atm it's guaranteed to be Euryale, which would be great since then I can focus on other dragons and pedestals next event. But if the next limited is rare and I don't breed it beforehand, it could mess with my plan since if there's meant to be a chance for it to show up, there will only be a 50% chance for Euryale. And I don't want to get the limited since if it's rare it'll have 10% Co-Op odds, unless Deca change their Co-Op odds rule all of a sudden, which I doubt. (Ironic/frustrating that the other dragon I want was released before the rule was apparently set in stone and has terrible Co-Op odds despite being rare.)
If it's the case that there would be a chance I'd get the limited if it's rare, I'll speed breed and skip the incubation time to make sure I defintely can't get it in the EoM. But if there is meant to be no chance I might just leave it and cross my fingers I get Euryale, because I'm trying to conserve gems at the moment in case I need lots of extra EC for spellforms, and styles next event (I don't like plant farming so avoid it at all costs).
(Of course, none of this matters if the next limited is epic, but I wanted to check just in case.)

The new event dragons are generally not in the mystery eggs or Daily Rewards until the event expires. There could always be a chance that Deca forgot to flag them, but even if they did, they probably wouldn’t have it corrected before your Daily Rewards rare mystery egg occurs. If you need to save gems, I wouldn’t worry about it. Worst case scenario, you end up with the new limited and have a stress-free week. Euryale will be in the next event, so you’ll obtain it soon.

Thanks. In that case I'll wait it out even if I don't get it before the EOM and keep my fingers crossed. I really want to get Euryale since like 75%+ of the dragons I still need to get are in the Paradise event so it'll just make my time so much easier (plus I don't have Mylio in the Rift yet), but I guess it's not the end of the world if I did happen to get the limited instead, it would just be annoying.

I'm not 100% sure but I think you can get Epic dragons from the 30 day log-in reward Rare egg. I think the egg types always mean [rarity level] or higher. For Rare that means Rare, Epic, or Gemstone/Crystalline. For Epic that means Epic or Gemstone/Crystalline. I know the daily reward eggs have somewhat different properties from Eggs of Mystery but I think they still work this way.
The Daily Rewards Egg of Mystery only offers eggs from the specific egg type. So the Rare Egg of Mystery only has rare dragons, Epic EOM only has epics, etc. The mystery eggs in the Rift Market are similar. The exception is the regular EOM can have any type of dragon.
The game classifies all dragons as either
• primary (not in mystery eggs) • hybrid (standard hybrids) • rare (golden hybrids, Rift primaries, limited rare dragons) • gem (gemstone and crystalline) • epic (the rest of the dragons, including galaxy, except the unbreedable legendaries)
The key difference with the Daily Rewards EOM is that it guarantees an unowned dragon from the egg type. Since Kaleni is only missing one rare dragon, that dragon should be the next Rare EOM reward.

Huh, and I was so sure it worked the other way LOL well nevermind then :P
Hey, guys, I finally reached lv 100, so I'm quitting. Sorry to tell you like this, but it's better than just disappearing. 🥺 We had a good run, but it's become dull for me. I'll leave my game active, so you guys can collect from it. I'll take a few days to complete any processes, like breeding & hatching, then I'm gone.

If I put a generator in the corner of a gargantuan island, would it affect the entire island boost-wise? If not, are there any positions on the gargantuan that would affect the entire island? I'm aware that the actual visual only affects a portion.
Edit: also, have the generators ever been on sale (not including their release if they were on sale then)? According to the Sandbox I need 5 leaves generators to get Niamh to earn 3k/min but I'd rather avoid spending 600 gems if possible. If they've never been on sale I might go with Nacre dragons instead but that's a 1% clone rather than 5% (since I'm using Co-Op for other things).

The generator's DC boost is applied to the entire island. The animation will only reach the circumference of a standard island.
The first three Weather Generators were recently on sale as a bundle when the Storm Generator was released. The price was 50% off. That’s the only time they’ve been discounted, but they were released last year, so there haven't been a lot of opportunities.

Last week, drow and clsForCoding discovered how the actual DC rates are calculated! Not only are rates rounded up, but they are rounded before and after the boost calculation. This results in a more generous DC rate than initially assumed, and players do not need to level up their DC farm dragons as much. For example, Tien with three boosts earns the same amount (2,000 DC/min) at Levels 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, and 20. So, there's no need to level up three-boosted Tien beyond 15.
In light of this monumental change, I’ve rewritten the Forum’s DC Farming Guide. It has information about the history of DC farming and the rate discrepancy and provides information about the benefits of DC farming, the best DC dragons, island layout maps, and more.
New Permanent Parks Available!
We have new DC farming dragons! Thanks to the suggestions and recommendations by Hetchy, the Forum’s admins and mods, and the Game Reps, there have been dramatic changes to some epic habitats that have catapulted Tien and Nacre into the spotlight.
Here are the dragons that are permanently available in the co-op and why you might be interested in adding these parks.
• TIEN#5745 (level 20 Tien) - top DC farming dragon
• NACRE#3462 (level 20 Nacre) - top DC farming dragon
• IDEN#3585 (level 20 Iden) - former top DC farming dragon
• OCULAR#9966 (level 20 Ocular) - former top DC farming dragon
• YARR#2438 (level 20) - top Treasure earner and ideal for players trying to level up Ts’aishen or earn more Abundant Essence since Treasure habitats provide 20 AE, while regular habitats offer 10 AE.
• PLANT#8761 (level 21 Elder) - Plant farm for EC. And if you collect twins, there is a pity counter. Twins have a 15% base and a -14% modifier for the first 5 breeds. This means the first four breeds in the co-op have a 1% chance of being a twin. Breeds 5-15 are 15%, and 16+ are 25%. Once you breed a twin, it resets back to 1. So after receiving a twin, breed Plant + Plant in the co-op four times in a row to eliminate the measly 1% chance. Add the Plant park so you always have a Plant dragon to breed with yours.
• RAINBOW#9358 (level 20 Rainbow) - To ensure you receive the maximum amount of DC from the challenges on the event island, your dragon and your friend’s dragon need to be at level 20 (or an elder), and the four elements requested in the challenge must be covered. Epic dragon’s hidden primary elements count. Therefore, friend the Rainbow park with a permanent level 20 Rainbow dragon in the co-op, and you can pair it with any of your level 20 or elder dragons. (Note: There is no guarantee you’ll win the maximum amount of EC every single time. A small chance of second place exists, but it is minimised as much as possible with two level 20 dragons and all the elements covered.)
Add any of the above parks, then post on the Cooperative Requests thread indicating that you’ve sent a friend request. I will add you back, and you’re ready to go!

Apologies if this has already been answered, I can't remember which thread the triplets were posted about when they were released: if you put boosts on the triplets, do they affect the whole island or just the one they're on?

Boosts and generators will affect all the dragons that match the boost’s element on the island, regardless of the size of the island.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. Does it affect all three of the triplets or just the island it's placed on?

The Triplets is one island, so all sections of The Triples will receive the boost.

PSA: Most of the dragons that were missing from a Dragonarium subcategory have been added
Deca placed these dragons into their subcategory at the start of the Deepest Depths event
Construct - added to Summer Invento - added to Summer Mushry - added to Summer Professo - added to Summer Scribe - added to Summer Mantasu - added to Paradise Liveloch - added to Om of Noms Pikeleaf - added to Om of Noms Shadowflash - added to Camping Lovey - added to Love Chipichipi - added to Vernal Glider - added to Vernal Melovine - added to Vernal Honeybrew - added to Summer Jester - added to Summer Plate - added to Summer
The only dragon that’s missing from its subcategory is Pangolian (Vernal). And Nimue still needs to be moved from Paradise to Summer. rcooldude1224 informed me that Infinitum and Jackpot should to be added to Vintage. And of course, Nightbloom needs to be removed from Plant and Dark.
Thank you, Deca Games!

Hope i am in the right place to ask ... it said General and i see the word questions so fingers crossed here goes:
Live & Learn Department: i have run into something i did not know and do not understand. Can someone please explain why breeding for a second QLY is now lowered from 3% to 1% just because i got one? Is there a list anywhere of other dragons like this?
Since mine came without a greatly desired trait i think it would be much more fair to now give me 6% to try for a second one! ;)

It's because the majority of combos people are going to be using have 4+ elements. Plenty of any four elements dragons have this as well, because they were essentially making any Dragon Weeks they showed up in pointless (and events to a lesser extent due to longer times), especially if they had high incubation times. Before Aurora and Party had this, any DWs they showed up in, if you bred two or three of them - which was very likely - you couldn't breed for anything else the entire DW because of how long their breeding times are. While QYL has a lower incubation time and a slightly lower initial breeding chance, the decrease is still pretty useful, especially if/when it shows up in DWs. If it always had a 3% chance it would be showing up fairly regularly in DWs, so it's good that it won't be showing up the whole of the time due to the decrease in odds.
Obviously it means that if you want more than one, it's hard to get a second. If you haven't yet hatched the untraited one, going by main thread comments it looks like it shouldn't count (so you'll still have 3% odds).

You may remember the Age of the Aurora Awfuness. Aurora has a 4% breeding percentage, so every time it was available, players bred Aurora constantly and were forever stuck behind its 54-hour fail or wasted Rift breeds. Over the years, there were many complaints and memes created on Reddit with players fed up with Aurora. I asked Deca to change Aurora’s percentage, along with Enfis, Party, and Dargon, so the second percentage was lower like the other rainbow dragons (and Dargon’s percentage is like Motley's — btw, Motley and Dargon have three percentages!). Deca thankfully did this, and the Aurora frustration and memes instantly disappeared.
Believe me, you do not want the Quad Leap Year or any rainbow dragon to have a 3% chance every time you attempt to breed dragons, much less a 6% chance 😬
Sometimes, the second percentage isn’t due to an easy breeding combo, like when Deca changed the four horsemen dragons. I asked them to raise their breeding percentages, and they did this, but unfortunately, they added the second percentage, so many players sold their regular and twin versions to get the traited version in the Rift. I did that with my alt park. It's kinda painful, but it was the fastest and easiest way to obtain the dragons with a trait.
If you want to know all the breeding percentages and which dragons have a second percentage, please check the DV Compendium. When the breeding percentage has another percentage in parentheses, the number in the parentheses is the second (owned) percentage.

Ohhh, i get it! Those l-o-n-g breeding times can really mess things up when there are too many going on. Thank you for answering. Much appreciated!
