Not sure if this is the right place for this or not….. I’m a little miffed right now to be honest. I’m trying to create a gemstone/ crystalline island obvs with the idea of generating a bit of much needed gem flow ( honestly I spend them as quick as I get them!), but all my original gemstone dragons have a producing time of one a week- same goes for crystalline. But I now noticed today, all the new ones I’ve been breeding and had to put into hibernation ( waiting habitats) have a production time of 1 a month?! The Peridot I bred today is the same- the one in my park I bred originally is 1/week and today’s is 1/month- it’s the same dragon! I feel like I’m getting ripped off! Gem prices for habitats and islands are ridiculous enough without slowing down gem production from the dragons!
Most gemstone/crystalline dragons if fed to level 10 will produce 1 gem per week. Exceptions are Amber, Lapis, Jade and Jet which only produce 2 gems/month even at level 10.
• Double Rewards feature offers double the Daily Reward after watching an advert • Low Resolution Mode is now in the Options menu • Optimize Memory can be enabled • New icons are no longer visible when visiting a friend's park

Hey folks- new here and not sure if I’m putting this in the right place- I’m a returning player, previously played up to level 70ish up til about 2017, and picked it up again about a month ago when my son got really into it. It’s super fun coming back to such a great game! I hear that events are now closer together than in the past, almost back to back? With having been away so long there are now a heap of dragons I don’t have, so I’m wondering if anyone can give some advice on the next event and likely dragons that might be needed for breeding in it so I can get on to that…. Is it likely to be camping under the stars again?
The zodiac dragons are so pretty…. Really hope to get more of them!

The events tend to follow a pattern from year to year (but of course Deca could change this). The next event should be similar to the Camping Event from last year. Here is a link to last year's Event Thread. This lists all the dragons that were available for the event plus other event information. The dragons aren't currently breedable (unless they're permanent), but should be available in the next event. All the Zodiac dragons should be in the next event, so great timing for getting back into DV.
If you haven't discovered it yet, there is a Help Desk board. The different Help Desk threads have lots of tips and tricks to help you resume your DragonVale journey.
If you have any questions about DragonVale or the Forum, please don't be afraid to ask. 😊

Adlerist, last winter event I requested the snowy versions of the clearable greenery - is now an appropriate time to pass that request to Deca?
I had to go back to the posts you made during the winter to find the details. I can ask about this. It would be especially great if some of the trees in the Market changed since they’re permanent, as opposed to the clearable trees that no-one really sees unless they buy an island.

I initially filled my aquarium habitat with blue/green dragons to match their surroundings, but found they failed to earn enough to fill their quota each day.
Then I looked through some of my favourite dragons and settled on Nacre. I loved the little clam shell that he popped in and out of. I had a few already and kept breeding in the rift and other parks (as I already had multiples of the event dragons) and filled the Aquarium habitat with Level 20 dragons. There was some space around the huge one, so I bought six large water habitats and filled them with Nacre dragons, leaving some at lower levels so the clam shell sizes varied. A total of 35 Nacre dragons!
I added a few clumps of coral and now I'm totally happy with that island and the quota seems to be filled each time I visit.
It would have been good if I their traits varied, but you can't have everything, can you?
Heads up: The Chase Bank ad is back, I got it just now when doing tolzar visions for gems.
Although it (surprisingly) did not cause issues upon ending this time around, it might not be a bad idea to keep an eye on it, in case it becomes buggy like last time.

I need to upgrade Ts'ashen (to remove the constant glowing icon). I also have Kairos available. Is there a best way to get the most benefit? Does Ts'ashen collect when you do a power up?

No, Ts’aishen doesn’t collect DC when you level him up. Kairos doesn’t have a direct effect on Ts’aishen. However, I do use Kairos to obtain more Abundant Essence. Treasure Habitats earn double the amount of AE, so I have a bunch of Yarrs in 55 Treasure Habitats. After the daily reset, I collect from the habitats. AE can be earned from 25 habitats. If I don’t receive AE from at least 22 Treasure Habitats, I'll deploy Kairos so I can collect again. Keep in mind, I usually clear all the other habitats and the Rift just before reset, so everything (except the Treasure Habitats) is empty.
