There’s an update for DragonVale in the App Store but DON’T DOWNLOAD IT if you haven’t spent all your event spice. I did, and it cashed out all my spice. I wasn’t finished spending my spice and now the event is gone. Sad start to my day!
There’s a new update in the App Store for version 4.29.0.
DO NOT UPDATE! There have been reports that all your Spice will disappear if you update. And the event market dragons will be unbreedable. Deca is working on the bug.
If you have Automatic Downloads turned on, please turn it off now. If you’re not sure, please check. To turn off Automatic Downloads go to Settings > App Store > Automatic Downloads > TURN OFF App Updates.
If you’ve already updated to 4.29 and did not spend all your Spice, please open a support ticket with Deca.

I put in a ticket, and Deca reverted the DC back to spice, so I have time to spend my spice. They’re so quick to fix things, really nice when stuff goes wrong and they correct the glitch.

However, I do hope to see a new galaxy dragon too, like last year.

If anyone knows or has a guess…Are any of the unbreedable dragons going to be regular ones? They look like 2 limited epics and 1 limited special…is that right? (I did not manage to clone any, so I am choosing. There were quite q few dragons new to me, so I had my hands..or rather caves full. 😂)
Also, if anyone can guess for me…might any be necessary for the next event?

The unbreedable dragons, Alayzem, Nubis, and Oasian are limited dragons. They will not become permanent after this event.
If you want to know what dragons will be in the next event, you can always look at last year’s event thread. They can be found under Reference Desk > Dragon Library > Event History. Last year’s event was called Camping Under the Stars. The first page of the thread has the event market content.

Edit - bought most of what I wanted but did have 19,138 spice sad thing is I didn't claim or get the cash back either..

Either completely change the Galaxy Egg of Mystery, so it recognises that a player is missing a traited Galaxy dragon and awards it first, before providing duplicates, or let players wish for traited versions of dragons. If there’s a new Galaxy dragon in the next event, then it’s only going to push the demand for a solution to acquire traited Galaxy dragons.

Look what vibelily posted about Time Skip Tokens!! "Time Skip Tokens will be launched for the first time! These magic tokens will allow you to skip some time, and you will get shorter waiting periods! The Tokens will be available in the Event Market!" This sounds really cool!
There are tons of dragons I should be breeding right now (more chrysalis dragons, more Iden and Yarr dragons, cloning other dragons from my alt parks) but I am too excited for the new event.
Also, I'm just happy I'm getting the old-looking loading screen, it's so cute with the plant dragon!!!

Hopefully Gravity is in the final day reward. That would mean (hopefully) that Deca has recognized the issue exists and is at least giving us a way to get new Galaxy releases traited. I know that’s hardly a good answer to the issue, but it’s one avenue. I, for one, hope we get another Galaxy or more this event. To mitigate the trait issue though, they should never be used in breeding combos ever again. Ever.

Speaking of Yarr dragons, I was so happy to be able to finish the farm I started a year ago during this event. 120 Yarr dragons within 24 Giant treasure habitats! Now for me it's onto Ocular and Iden/Prestige farms.

They did get the currency back to me so I bought a Yarr and another dragon to spend most of the spice.
I informed Deca last night that you did not have your Spice restored. Since we’re DV friends, I provided them with the Friend IDs for your main and alt parks. They informed me several hours later that they resolved the issue. It sounds like you didn’t contact Deca. In the future, if you need compensation or currency restored, please open a help ticket and support will assist you. Thank you!
