Absolutely rapt with the new update! I can FINALLY watch vids again!!! And for anyone who has been keeping track- that’s a first since the Xmas event! 😱 Also- thank you very much to adlerist for my twin Jester! 🥳🥳🥳
Deca have planned the Twin Weekend perfectly for the event. Everyone wants more twins when the Donation boards are in play. There are no limited dragons released yet and rift breeds can be used to fill the donation boards without clogging the nest. Mother's Day does get in the way a bit - I've had to excuse myself from family to clear my twinning queue(in case there is one. 😉).
I agree wholeheartedly! I was able to really take advantage of this twin weekend by using my alt parks to get lots of the 10% clone odd event dragons delivered to my park, just by switching my main park’s co-op dragon to different elders and using my alt parks’ gems to speed up breeding.
I got so many event dragons this way! Wow, what a rush!
Are we likely to get event currency for the transformation items we get from gold chests? At the moment I’m just being offered ordinary cash for these
I'm pretty sure that's a bug, I think there was something similar with the evolution items either during Halloween or Winter. If I'm remembering correctly they should sell for 50 EC like other evo/style items but I could be wrong.

I've found this twin weekend really productive. I managed to get about 10 pedestals which means I'm now much closer to being able to afford everything I want to get this event. My main objective is to get all the spellforms, though there are so many it's going to cost me over 100k EC I think. I'll get fairly close to that as long as I earn roughly the same amount in a day as I have done so far, but there are some other things I want too, so it's been great to cut down the overall total by about 10k after breeding some pedestals!
I unfortunately got snowed under at with and missed the end of Twins weekend, but I think I got about 20 off my list
Thanks very much NinjaKiwi. for the twins you sent my way. I spent a lot of gems and got 60 off my list. As of today, I have exactly 100 dragons left to twin. Granted that will almost inevitably edge back upwards soon.
Twin Weekend was a blast! Thank you to my friends that sent some lovely twins my way. They are all much appreciated. 😊 Clearing the social menu is going to take some time and I have a very full nest with no Kairos in sight.
Now I need to concentrate on trying to clone the new event dragons. 😊
Don't forget to check your social menu for surprise twins hiding in there. 🐉 🐉

What's the twin limit?
There is a limit of ten twins that you can receive between sessions. This is generally only a problem during Twin Weekend when every co-op breed is a guaranteed a twin. A player needs to open their park frequently during the day so that they 'reset' their ten twin allowance. If you breed a desired twin with a friend, it is always advisable to take a screenshot in case they don't receive it.
I was really chuffed about the placement of twin weekend this time! I usually don't like when they have extra stuff going on during events, but this was amazing. I'm telling you, I got all the 10% clone odd dragons in this event thanks to twin weekend and using gems in my alt parks.
I got so many dragons... I'm going to be spoiled for the next event when this doesn't happen.
So, my haul:
(This only worked because last year I was able to obtain some event dragons in my alt parks by either breeding, buying, or using my end-of-event gift egg.)
Brizioni, Smigi, Scryer, Davinese, Binky, Lunk, Fuefuego, Ponkipong, Jumpiplop!! Plus a twin Aurora and a twin Prism. And a very decidedly non-10% clone Outrider too! I had none of these in my main park at the start of this event, so I'm so happy!
I plan to try to breed the rest of the Spellform dragons and Lageto and Prestina, but other than that, I'm kind of set this event except for more traited dragons and habitats.
I cannot wait to see what the limiteds hold for us during this event, and also what that blank part of the event island will be used for.
At the beginning of the event, I made a list of all my twins in the Social Menu. It was quite a long list. I thought it would be easier to scan a list than scrolling through the Social Menu looking for specific eggs. Then along came Twin Weekend! 🤣
I was very surprised when a Jester popped out of the Co-op cave this morning. Unfortunately it wasn't a twin, but it's the first of the event dragons I can cross of the list. 😊

Jester's on the way in Co-Op, so I now have all 3 clone-onlies! It's a really good feeling being able to get all of them before the first limited is released.
It hopefully won't take me too long to breed their pedestals, so ignoring limiteds that will leave me with only Prestina/Darkmatter pedestals and about 90% of the Spellforms, which I should hopefully be able to achieve with a bit of plant farming if needed. If I have spare EC I'm going to buy some habitats that aren't marked as complete, though that'll cost me an extra 45.7k EC if my maths is correct, so that might be a post-event (for rainbow/moon)/next year (other) thing.

You can put Tien in a monolith habitat too.
I know! I've got all the snowflake, chrysalis, and monolith habitats I can (bar 2, as I like to give myself buffet in case I need a new habitat). Still running out of space!

I got an enhancement in a mini game golden chest yesterday, but it's not showing under my enhancements now (I was checking to see if it was a dupe and it says I have 0). It was one of Dash's conjured pieces (the one that's shaped sort of like a bean). I know I started the event with 86 needed and I still need 86 (and I don't have dupes of any of the ones I already had), so it's definitely not the case that I've just forgotten which one I got. I didn't get a screenshot since I didn't think it would get lost, so is there any point in contacting support to ask for it to be restored? My main aim this event is to get all the spellforms, but it's going to cost me loads of EC, so the more I can save the better.

Oh my goodness, that was it, thank you! I assumed they'd automatically be collected since unlike evo decos they're not placeable, but obviously not.
It's going to be so annoying having to open the friends menu and collect every single one when I'm buying them at the end... Never mind, I'm just glad this one didn't bug out!
