Not exactly a beginner but I feel like I am missing something here because now at level 30, it takes a ton of gold to grow food and it takes a ton of food to level up all the Panloongs to 15. I'm just breeding metals to sell to get the gold. Am I on the right track? Just trying to get to my first gold shrine. Thanks!

You are on the right track. It takes a TON of food to level up to fifteen. Why we call it the grind.
. Also good to keep all your pans on one island in earth habitats with a fire and water boost. You can make 75 000 grand an hour with hourly sweeps. Our benevolent administrator came up with this strategy. Called the Chinese gold coin factory (CGCF)

You are. Food requirements double as you go up in levels, so it takes as much food to go from level 14 to 15 as it did to get to level 14 in the first place.
If you want to post in the Shrine Grind thread with the number of dragons you have/need for each shrine I'll calculate the most efficient way for you to get all your shrines gold.

unfortunately you can't sorry Hun you have to keep a real good eye on those messages or take a screenshot and add the names to a list when you can ,a screenshot is taken by pressing the home button and the on/off button together ,your screen will slightly flash and there will be a pic in your album x

Thanks Fletch - have read your shrine grind thread carefully. I'm up to 31 Panloongs, aiming for that 37, but I guess I may have the other stuff to balance out that I don't need so many. I will take inventory!

Welcome! A really easy way is to roam around the threads here and look for game center id's (gcid) in the signatures of people who belong to this community. Visiting is done through the game center, so you would need to add them through there.
