First we will visit the colosseum island ,when you warp in you will immediately see our shrines! We have four gold at the moment , we have had an assessment by another park owner and our staff are working hard to follow that quota to obtain further golds! Also located here are the parks most rarest of dragons a pair of colourful rainbows and a pair of magnificent leap year dragons which are highly sought after ! As the most fierce of dragons they ensure there is no cheating going on in the colosseum LYDs hate cheaters and it's said that they have eaten one or two ...... Visitors can also view the colosseum events if they wish, there is a different element trial every day ,where the parks dragons compete to win the owner vicky some precious gems, which she loves ! Why not stop in at the cafe located on the ground floor before moving on, as you may not want to risk stopping at the next islands cafe's .....
we recently had a major outbreak in Dragonville, panlongs were swarming everywhere invading other dragons space and disturbing the peace !!! At first vicky worked so hard to obtain a pair of these beauties as many other park owners did .......until we realised that once you have two they multiply quite rapidly, as even though they are quite aggressive dragons they are also very frisky ahem ! So something had to be done ,vicky decided to move them all to one island with a barrier all around to contain them and fixed them so they can't breed anymore, and so far it's working ..... Visitors are warned not to get too close due to their aggressive nature, food and drinks are served in the 2 pagodas at each end of the island !
When you warp in you will be instantly greeted by the parks moon dragons ,these dragons are incredibly gentle and friendly beasts, and can often be seen nuzzling small children who got scared on the isle of pan to comfort them !!! From there you can go left or right if you go left you will come to the beautiful dragonsai tree which grows precious red gems ,next stop is the hibernation cave ,where dragons who are tired get a well deserved rest! PLEASE BE QUIET here as it's not a great idea to antagonise hibernating dragons- no seriously you have been warned !!! ( first aid available in the nearby tavern for those who choose not to listen ) If you go to the right from the moon area then you will pass our hatchery where all the parks babies are hatched, and just behind there is one of the places they are bred, the breeding cave !!! And last but definitely not least are the sun dragons ,situated at the very back of the island ,though not as gentle as the moon dragons, they will happily let you walk around their habitats and gladly take a treat or two, please be sure to wear the sunglasses provided upon entry !!!
P.s don't forget to check out the newly installed vernal spring fountain it's a beauty, why not toss in a coin and see if your wish comes true !!!
If you are not a day pass visitor then this is the island you will be staying on ,there are different areas depending on your package . We have the standard hotels in clover corner ,though they look small, magic is at work here and each can accommodate 150 guests !!! For those who want something a little cosier, then why no try our dogen's they are small, but very homely . For our visiting families we have the traditional villa's which are closer to the islands amenities which include: a Tavern, dragon library, pond and the draginn play centre for the younger ones !!! Or you can have the very best and stay in one of our 5 private thatched cottage's which are hidden away from the other guests at the back of the island with restricted access . The park staff live here too in the treat farms ,where you can see the treats being grown to feed the parks dragons. And finally the most special place on this island , guests can now get a fantastic view of the epic breeding island from the new viewing platform, which day pass visitors do not get to see....an added bonus to a stay with us !!!
P.s don't forget to check out our other vernal spring fountain why not toss in another coin and see if your wish comes true !!!
Further construction is going on on the last of the islands and should be opening soon ( we hope ) x x x
So, like, I was bored one day, and zipping around between other wizards' islands, when I suddenly recalled a promise I'd made long ago to my pal Segbert. I call her Segberto, but nobody seems to notice or care. Anyhow, the promise was to visit her islands and make fun of her dragons. Off I go!
When I first arrived, I was greeting with the ungainly sight of a goofy-looking Rust Dragon, a water droplet hovering over his head, as he whomped back and forth in her Colosseum. Ungainly, yes, I said that, cuz that beast sure is. Well, I turned my eyes, hoping for prettier sights, and I sure got them! The island was gleaming. Like, beautiful. There were several golden Leap Year Dragons swimming through the air above the park, and a couple golden Sun Dragons, one on either end. There were golden trees and golden pathways, a couple tan fountains bubbling (which, when I first saw, were positioned underneath a LYD, and I mistakenly thought it was golden water coming from, well, never mind). I crossed the plaza and passed back between two slowly spinning (so slow you couldn't see them spin, but I know! I know they spin, like for real!) astrolabes, to the portal. And ...
Brr! Surrounded by frozen ponds, here I was in the middle of Segberto's second island. Skating gently across the ponds were a bunch of pretty Bluefire, Frostfire, and rare Bloom Dragons - quite a collection! And collecting was surely going on, cuz everywizard knows that those beasts sure bring in the cash! There were also two very pretty Moon Dragons on display, though thankfully not displaying their moons. Well, never mind. Anyhow, She's got yet another Sun Dragon (and if I knew what kind of markup code this forum took I'd have put that in italics, so just pretend) on this island. Man! What is it with the Sun Dragons? Anyhow, that's okay. It was a very pretty island, with a couple neat farms and flower beds, despite the cold. Really, as I look back, I wasn't truly cold at all. This might be because she had both cold and Sun dragons there, balancing things out. Who knew? Couple of silver dragon statues, too, which attracted many visitors and no graffiti. But I thought that the neatest thing about this island was how well it was balanced between that cold blue/white and the warm yellows of autumn trees and the sun habitat. Interesting contrast there. But! Time to move on ...
Stepping on to a portal, I was zapped over to what must have been a sweatshop, or, to be more politic about it, coin factory. Yes, this island had approximately one zillion high-roller Panlongs stomping around in earth habitats. Well, I'm sure they brought in the coins, but nobody is impressed. Seriously, the presence of two very pretty and docile Moons and another LYD did not even tame the obvious money-grab of the Panlong Sweatshop. Sheesh, maybe Segberto ought to spend some of that money feeding her poor Panlongs, cuz they were all level 15, not 20. You'd think she could afford it, but noooooo. Sigh. Place was neatly laid-out, and a couple dragon shrines served to soften the edges, but the island's obvious focus on money money money was made all the more painfully obvious because it was on this island alone that I found all three party hats. Yeah. You know what they say - follow the money? Yeah. I followed it to the portal ...
... to a much more serene and accommodating island. Water ponds, trees, nature, yeah. This was more like it. A Moon Dragon, some graceful air-type dragons, a calm and serene pool with water dragons, this was nice. Down towards the southern end of the island, passing between some well-tended cacti was a plant habitat, and this was a real treat. It was home to a couple of really cute Clover Dragons (who failed to snatch and hide any of my belongings), and an absolutely gorgeous Sakura Dragon. What a pretty girl she was. At the top of the island, in pride of place, was the first Rainbow I'd encountered, and he looked very happy to be in the middle of this pleasant springy domain. None of this, however, was as impressive or as beautiful as the Dragonsai Gem Tree in the middle of the island, and I stood and admired Segbert's very accomplished bonsai artistry displayed by this Dragonsai. Very impressive work. After spending a long time just enjoying the soft grass and warm summery scents, with regret I moved on ...
Clang! Clang! Whomp whomp whomp. Clang! Okay, that's pretty dumb, but it's the best I can do to reproduce the sounds of Segberto's volcano island. Well, not that the volcano made that noise, of course. But it's completely overrun with metal-types! Whonk, whomp, clank, clink! Stuff like that. But they're real beauts, gleaming in the sunlight. Seriously, if you get the chance, head on over to her islands here and just spend some serious time looking at her metal dragons. You see, when the volcano erupts, the fiery magma reflects off the metal dragons' scales. So, when the sinuous Magnetic Dragon's wing scales ripple, they reflect a cascade of sunset reds and golds. It's really pretty. Then go over and just watch the reflections off of the silky mercurial hides of the Chrome Dragons. It's quite remarkable. I stared and stared, and I think the dragons started feeling a bit self-conscious after a while! Worse than that, the Rainbow Dragon seemed to begin to develop an inferiority complex, cuz they're so used to being the center of attention. Or, if they're European or Australian Rainbows, being the centre of attention. This was a good place to hide the rows and rows of farms, cuz really you'd never notice.
Well, I really enjoyed the trip, and loved seeing the sights. Segbert did a really good job! I guess my only disappoint was that there wasn't more! I'd think that such an accomplished and experienced dragon-tamer would have more islands! I left a generous tip, hoping she'll summon another island in soon, and left wanting more!
Please use caution while visiting Tommy B's Dragon Land, as much of the park is still under construction. Some weird magic going on - don't get turned into a toad or nuthin!
Welcome to Shrine Island.
Here you will find a park dedicated to everything Dragonvale! The first thing you will see upon arrival is the circle of shrines to the different dragon elements, all fully life-sized and guaranteed to scare the kids (public restrooms are still under construction).
We greatly encourage visitors to take their time exploring this island (not just because the other islands aren't all done ...). Why? You're in for a treat.
Approach any of the dragon shrines. You will see, planted in a little flower bed before each shrine, a banner. This banner not only declares which dragon element the shrine is dedicated to, but each banner also bears a plaque with a bit of the history and habits of each dragon element, as well as a list describing each dragon in the park that is derived from that element. This is a great place for school field trips, as our public relations department has really crammed a wealth of knowledge and dragon lore upon each plaque. Another educational touch is that the flowers surrounding each banner are just those which are the very favorite treats of each dragon element (treats can be found in the gift shops)!
Another thing that will truly excite the kids (again, public restrooms are still under construction) is that each dragon shrine is fully animated! That's right, and not just clinky, clacky, hissing and unrealistic animatronics, but fully magicked statues that move just like the real thing! We've turned the sound off, though, because all that roaring was giving Shrine Island's caretakers headaches.
As you move outwards, you will notice something even more exciting. Not content with simple magicked statues of some of the rarest breeds of dragons, no, instead of shrines, you will see actual living specimens of the rarest dragons known to wizardkind!
Along the northern end of Shrine Island can be found two extremely rare yet beautiful pairs of Rainbow Dragons - each a mated pair. Their names are GTGirl and Coxy (on the left) and 250Strong and Vicky (on the right). Rainbow Dragons mate for life, and Tommy B has had the great luck to have found two pairs of unique beauty and playful temperament. Much of Tommy B's own knowledge and research can be found on the two Rainbow Dragon banners planted before each set of rainbow habitats, as well as the particular histories of each set, respectively.
If you proceed west, you will pass by the bright habitat of Segbert, our park's one and only Sun Dragon. The Shrine Island caretakers have placed a protective field around Segbert and his habitat, since full exposure to the majesty of any Sun Dragon's full heat and brightness would be harmful to our kind visitors. Beneath the Sun Dragon banner can be found a plaque detailing Sun Dragons in general, and our own Segbert in particular, surrounded by blooming dwarf sunflowers - Segbert's favorite (DO NOT FEED THE SUN DRAGON).
Continuing in a counter-clockwise fashion along the gleaming marble-and-gold pathway you will come to a very recent and extremely rare pair of Leap Year Dragons. It took Tommy B a lot of vigilant hunting and breeding know-how to attain this pair - he had to be at the right place at the very short right time to capture them! In fact, it is commonly thought that Tommy B was the very first wizard known to actually have brought the elusive LYD into captivity! Much like their distant kin - the Rainbow Dragon - LYDs mate for life. Once the LYD called ilUli (on the left) was brought into captivity on Shrine Island, it was fairly easy therefore to lure her mate - Skaterboy - to come join her. Their stories, and all of Tommy B's (scant) lore regarding the extremely shy LYD can be found on a plaque at the base of the very impressive (and working) astrolabe that sits between their two habitats.
If you continue around to the east, you will finally come upon Dragon Land's one and only Moon Dragon. You've heard the saying 'Once in a Blue Moon'? That seems to hold true for us, much to Tommy B's chagrin. To quote our founding wizard, 'But isn't a blue moon the second full moon in a month? How come I can't seem to breed a second one, then?' Whereupon he generally stomps off in disgruntlement (a good word, by the way). Nevertheless, Tommy B's Dragon Land's sole Moon Dragon remains a magnificent specimen of the breed, for all her solitary nature. Smurfette is an uncommonly beautiful Moon Dragon, also of sweet temperament. Read all about her from the plaque at the base of her own Moon Dragon banner, posted amid her favorite snack - Dragon Fruit Flowers (which, yes, bloom only at night; you can look that up).
With such a wealth of knowledge, such beautiful layout, such well-tended marble and gold paths, and such rare dragons, Tommy B's own Shrine Island is sure to delight visitors young and old!
Below, we invite you to enjoy some pictures of the island. Come back soon!
Please use caution while visiting Tommy B's Dragon Land, as much of the park is still under construction. Some weird magic going on - don't get turned into a toad or nuthin!
Welcome to Forest Island.
Visitors who come to Forest Island are in for a special treat, as Forest Island is the most special island in all of Tommy B's Dragon Land! You'll find out why quite soon!
Forest Island was the first island which Tommy B summoned to the park. He chose this particular hunk of rock to hang in the sky because situated on one corner was an ancient stone formation of great magical value and mystical interest - the world-renowned Sham-Rock Henge. These aged obelisks were imbued with great dragon-related properties, and have really given our founding wizard an edge when it comes to breeding and capturing dragons for the park. In fact, he placed a warp-in point smack dab in the midst of these moss-covered, time-worn monoliths. This is but the first of several reasons which make Forest Island so special and we'd put the picture of Sham-Rock Henge right here if our graphic design 'wizards' were weally worth their woeful wages.
A quaint, unassuming (a good word) stone path leads visitors away from Sham-Rock Henge, though all are welcome to wander as they will - Tommy B's Dragon Land is very safe! Heading down the lamp-lit path, through natural old oaks and maples, you will quickly encounter our one and only plant habitat. Here you will find several specimens of dragon happily frolicking in the deep emerald grass, munching on the verdant oak leaves and low-growing succulents, and generally enjoying the sunshine and quiet of the forest. A recent addition to this island is a rare Clover Dragon named Poppy. Poppy is only a babe, and is sometimes rather temperamental for this reason, but if you catch him in the right mood he might let you rub his belly - thought to bring you seven months of koala!
Continuing down the Forest Island's quaint stone path leads you by some magnificent and imposing boulders - huge stones thought to have been plopped down centuries ago by passing glaciers. An interesting fact is that the stone which the Sham-Rock Henge was hewn from does not match these glacial erratics, nor any of the bedrock anywhere near where the island was harvested from. How these giant monoliths were brought and shaped and assembled in a circle is unknown.
Around the corner you will come across a quiet little farm, a bucolic scene of quietude and hominess. Homeyness? Homey don't play that iness? Anyhow, here is the second reason why Forest Island is so special: it is actually the home of Tommy B himself! You will see his simple windmill, which not only refines his small farm's produce, but is also used to generate power for his many wizardly experiments. Dragon Land's Hibernation Cave is next door, and in front of some beautiful flower beds is his own Thatched Roof Cottage. If Tommy B is home, he welcomes all visitors to pop in for a chat! Across the path from the cottage is the Nursery, where he keeps close tabs on all the very rare and fascinating eggs he has painstakingly bred or caught.
Visitors who are exceptionally lucky (perhaps those who were able to rub Poppy's belly on their way in) might catch sight of Tommy B's very own, very special baby Love Dragon - Mellissa - flitting about and hovering over the hatchery. She keeps close tabs on the incubating eggs, and is very protective. For this reason, we strongly urge visitors to keep behind the post fence and not venture close to the eggs themselves.
As you continue down the forest path, you will pass by the wishing well, and behind it can be seen a small pond, home to a few gentle species of water-based dragons. Farther along, and around another giant glacial deposit, is a Cozy Dogen - a hidden little house underground. We have no clue who lives there (if anyone), because the door is always magically locked. This is a mystery even to the park's own caretakers.
Follow the lampposts down the winding forest path and you will come to Dragon Land's largest water habitat. Here, many strange species of water-based dragons frolic and play, hiding beneath the surface during the hottest times of the day, and getting more and more roccous as the day progresses. Those visitors not wishing to get splashed had best stay back!
Around the corner and hidden beneath the shade of a giant oak tree is one of the park's few maintenance buildings. Next door is a small pond, where non-dragonish animals of many sorts can come for water and a quick dip. Clovers and actual shamrocks cover the hearty earth.
Next, we come to another special point of interest on Forest Island - the Dormitories. Yes, this cute little clover-themed hut is actually where all the park workers, caretakers, and employees come at the end of their shifts. This is where employees live, sleep, eat, and spend their off-hours. Looks small, doesn't it? It's bigger on the inside ...
Finally, the path peters out before Forest Island's most fascinating attraction - the Breeding Cave. If you are very lucky, you can see a pair of dragons sequestered here. Tommy B hopes that they also are getting lucky! Nobody is privy to Tommy B's uncanny and mysterious breeding research and knowledge. The best we can do is enjoy the results. The Breeding Cave is all the way at the end of the path, sequestered behind a giant old oak tree and a huge boulder, because breeding dragons tend to enjoy their privacy (although Panlongs seem to know no shame ...).
We heartily welcome all to come enjoy Tommy B's Dragon Land's Forest Island - a taste of the Emerald Isle floating in the sky!
Below, enjoy some pictures from the Forest Island. But don't settle for pictures - come visit yourself! I mean, come, yourself, and visit. Er, don't go to yourself for a visit with yourself. That would be weird. Never mind ...
Please use caution while visiting Tommy B's Dragon Land, as much of the park is still under construction. Some weird magic going on - don't get turned into a vaudeville act or nuthin!
Welcome to Firecicle Island.
Please forgive the awkward name - this island has been awkward, lately!
The moment our dear visitors warp in to Firecicle Island, they are greeting with the seriously strange sight of a stunning juxtaposition (sorry - just flexing): frozen lakes and snow-covered trees alongside steaming pools of molten lava! And the air just hums with magical energies.
Tommy B sourced this island from a chilly arctic wilderness, enjoying the dense purity of its dark basalt bedrock. He magicked it here to the Dragon Land, and because he did not wish to change its natural personality, he left it cold and arctic. It seemed the perfect place to build some nice cold-element dragon habitats, which he did! It was beautifully landscaped with leaning fir trees which bore fresh snow year 'round, a little igloo hut to hide some park mechanical machinery, and most beautiful of all was the wide expanse of gleaming cold white marble surrounding each habitat.
Unbeknownst to our founding wizard, however, the slab of basalt he'd plopped in the sky contained the very tippy top tip of a long-dormant hotspot - a vein of magma that had yet to push up through the bedrock to form any volcanos. That is, until recently!
Now, visitors to Firecicle Island are treated to a study in opposites. When the magma finally pushed up through the bedrock of the island, it formed a dwarf volcano almost precisely in the island's center, and smaller effusions surfaced round about the place. Much of the snow covering the island melted before Tommy B ingeniously took advantage of what seemed to be a disaster. At the time, he was quoted as saying, "I saw sumpin' like this on some Birdie Guy's island once."
Now, the cold habitats are magicked to remain cold - to the delight of the many varied cold-element dragons to be found here. And the intense heat of the fire habitats is likewise kept in check.
Populating the island are a few cold dragons of various sorts. It is currently home also to a number of very rare dragons who have been put in the fire habitats temporarily, during the park's reshuffle.
This is an ideal time to visit Firecicle Island, because you will not see such a concentration of rare dragons any time soon anywhere else! The long list of special dragons includes three sweet Love Dragons named Tiffany, Vampi, and Rachb. Come and feed them roses or violets!
Also temporarily houses on Firecicle Island are four majestic Panlong Dagons, all brought in at great pains from the exotic far east. They have fondly been named Khammyr, FletchSmf, TroutGuy, and Hazzarrd. More suitable demesnes will be found for these in the near future - Tommy B is currently sourcing suitable stone to summon for a new island.
Visitors to Firecicle Island are urged to caution. In order to avoid superheated mud gulps, please stay on the paths! Some of the original marble remains, but elsewhere a circuitboard pattern of golden paths has been laid down and magicked to be completely safe from eruptions. From the warp-in point, you will see a small frozen pond to the right, and a larger ahead and to the left, where various cold dragons frolic, bounce and slide. The Crystal Dragon has even been known to form his crystalline scales into skates to perform lazy (and slightly ugly) figure eights on the ice!
Stay on the gold paths, but feel free to visit the three fire habitats, too. There is a small gift shop on Firecicle Island, which has been decorated to match the volcano colors.
Continuing on brings us to a pair of marble eggs in the island's middle. This was once part of a more elaborate centerpiece, but the volcano's arrival changed much of the island, and these eggs have been left to remember what once was.
On the island's western edge, the greatest section of the original marble tableau, with carefully-tended beds of roses as beautiful borders. You see, this path once led from the now-destroyed centerpiece of the island (something about eros and eggs and dragons and other things that perhaps weren't altogether age-appropriate, of which only the two marble eggs remain), down between the beds of romantic roses, toward the Epic Breeding Island. Originally, young dragons would pair off, after much batting of eyelids and smashing of each other playfully in the face with spiked tails, become, well, fecund looking at the now-destroyed centerpiece, and be ushered down the path of roses towards what Tommy B hoped would be some epic breeding.
So, come one and all to Tommy B's Dragon Land's Firecicle Island, a study in opposites, thinly-obfuscated innuendos, some fantastically rare dragons, and enjoy the park! Stop a the gift shop for a memento of your visit. Although the volcano has really shaken things up, and perhaps detracted from the island's prior grandeur, at least the magma has warmed the ground enough so that the wishing well now works ...
Enjoy some pictures of Tommy B's Dragon Land's Firecicle Island!
Please use caution while visiting Tommy B's Dragon Land, as much of the park is still under construction. Some weird magic going on - don't get turned into a Cactus Dragon or nuthin! Cuz, wow, they're ugly. I mean, seriously ...
Welcome to Crystal Island.
There has been a flurry of activity around Tommy B's Dragon Land of late, and that is due to the arrival of a brand-new island. As noted earlier, our magnanimous founding wizard, Tommy B, has spent a great deal of time sourcing the hunk of rock for the park's next island. He would not settle for just any ol' chunk of basalt or granite. While Tommy B's Dragon Land (a stupid and unoriginal name for a park, but don't tell him that!) is home to a huge number of unique, amazing, rare, and fascinating dragons, he also wanted the park itself to stand out.
Somewhere in the strange depths of Australia's arid interior, where normal people wouldn't imagine ever going, Tommy B stumbled upon what at first seemed to be a rare but random vein of powerful crystals, nestled high in the mountains. He refuses to reveal the exact location, but we can tell you that this place was about between the Dundas and Queen Victoria Spring Nature Reserves, east of Kalgoorlie and west of Rawlinna.
Upon further inspection, it turned out that this was no simply natural vein of crystal, but in fact a lost and ancient site of wizardly ruins! A small bowl of rock high in the mountains was shot through with rare yellow crystals and strange crystalline metal structures. And spread around these outcroppings - some of which seemed natural and other seemed somehow groomed - were the ruins of an ancient wizard's keep.
Very little is left - a couple of run-down buildings which Mr. B. has restored, many seemingly-cultivated outgrowths of crystal and hematite-like metal, and lots of strange brick and even gold flagstones. As you wander about the island, you will see what must once have been a large paved area, perhaps used as a forum, or for wizardly experiments, or even for primitive dragon duels, a forerunner of today's Colosseum events.
Tommy B has left much of these ruins alone, enjoying rather the play of nature and order. Several wondrous sorts of lightning dragon and metal dragon can be found on the island, some of which have never been seen by wizardkind before! All of whom have taken quite nicely to the natural crystals and metals in the island.
But what attracted Tommy B most to this hunk of rock was not just the beauty of the crystals and metals, and not just the calm yet inexorable way in which nature is slowly retaking the ruins, but that the yellow crystals and reddish metals are really quite powerful, well-suited for experiments but even better used as focussing tools to harness and enhance Tommy B's magics! But what seemed to be a windfall was actually to pose quite a problem.
Whenever Mr. B. tried to focus his magics on the area, in order to separate it from the surrounding rock and lift it high into the sky for transportation, the crystals began to shine, and then to reverberate, threatening to shake the ruins apart! Not only that, but the six-sided metallic veins absorbed so much magical energy from the spell that they began to really heat up, and the whole island was in danger of melting!
Our amazingly brilliant, yet ever humble, founding wizard, however, had a plan. After much calculation, and lots of intuition, Tommy B particularly placed perfectly three astrolabes, situated specifically to harness and control the magic of the spells, and magnificently harmonizing the yellow crystals' vibrations as well as keeping the metal crystals from absorbing the energy and heat, neatly averting liquefaction (a great word).
Thus, after much hunting, and studying, and magicking, and planning, and a few little touches here and there, Tommy B's Dragon Land is delighted to bring to you, our dear visitors, Crystal Island! Come and see the very varied species of lightning and metal dragons who love to cavort and play amidst these mysterious and ancient wizardly ruins from some weird place in Australia. Huzzah!
So when I warped in there were these two giant rainbow dragons hovering over me. Kinda imposing, but I said I'd visit, so here I was. Now I just had to find her. There were six Rainbows on this island, and that was pretty impressive. What was even more impressive was that they were in such tight formation but not nipping at each other's tails! I went on to explore the rest of the island. There was a couple nicely-tended flower gardens. I wondered when Tif was gonna send me some flowers. There were also some nice dragon egg statues, and a very symmetric layout of buildings at the top of the island. At the bottom was a regal Dragonsai Tree, bursting with gems. I wondered when Tif was gonna send me some of them.
I zipped over to another island, heading easterly. There were a few stately snow-covered evergreens towering over me, and I shivered a bit in the chill. Looking out between the branches I saw a rare Leap Year Dragon at place of pride in the island's center. I hadda go check that guy out! Alas, his name was Leap Year Dragon. Snore. Not Tommy. Oh, well. That turned me off, so I didn't explore the rest of the island, warped out in a huff.
The next island I came to was very homey, basically a little town! It was cute, really neat. Some nice paths clicked under my wizard boot feet I zig-zagged up between lampposts towards a well and a central square. I made a right and entered a quaint little green-roofed tavern. Good time for a pit-stop, and the beef stew was delicious. I nabbed a bottle of Dragon's Breath Grog to carry with me, and explored the rest of the island. There were homes along the northern end, and some farms there, too. The thatched-roof cotteges looked cute and cozy. After a little bit I stumbled upon a kind of hidden, out-of-the-way path, which went through a little forest. There were lots of different decorations, some really neat stuff that I'd never have thought would look good together but did. At the end was another Leap Year Dragon! Neat! Never mind the pot of gold, what was his nam- oh. Leap Year Dragon again. Boring. But! There was a party hat there, which I promptly put on, and skipped out to another island.
This next island looked cold! But clearly there was powerful magic at work, because while the ice was glittering still some other dragons were splashing and frolicking on definitely-not-frozen ponds. Very nicely done. The ait trees looked great, very healthy and thriving. Hmm, good magic work keeping the cold cold and the wet wet, except one minor detail: the wishing wells were all frozen, too! Doh. I tossed s hunk of swiss cheese up to the cute baby Moon Dragon, and proceeded along my way.
This next island that I landed on was very impressive. Two stately and regal-looking Sun Dragons kept marching back and forth, watching over a diagonal broadway of brick, lined on either side by tall, colorful banners, flapping in the wind. Bronze-colored fearsome statues of many different dragons reared up on either side, as though guarding the way. But to what? A green, square field? Weird. Why would all this pomp and circumstance be set up so impressively, just to lead up to an empty field? It was puzzling. I couldn't figure it out. I spotted a library, though, and ran over there. I checked out an adventure coloring book that had dragons all over it. It was really cool, and it even came with crayons! I looked forward to coloring it in, as well as solving the mystery at the end! It was called, "Where's My Colosseum?"
The final island was the most impressive. Great columns of crystalline metal jutted forth from the ground, and the well-tended paths were cast into eerie shadow not only by the many paper lanterns lining them but also the giant volcano under eruption in the very middle of the island! Some really cool lightning crystals kept some really cool lightning dragons in check, and some fierce-looking new metal dragons were there, too. But most impressive was a veritable army of Panlongs!
I was really impressed by the whole layout, and the thought that had gone into it. I wanted to leave a note in the guestbook, telling the park manager how clean the place was, and how well-laid-out everything seemed. I really wanted to meet the wizard, too, who had put this all togeth- hey, party hats! Cool!
So, like, I was bored one day, and zipping around between other wizards' islands, when I suddenly recalled a promise I'd made long ago to my pal Segbert.
That was sweet, dude.
And dang, you've written a whole bunch of descriptions I have to catch up on! That'll be after dinner tonight with a nice cuppa.

We have updated our feature habitat on our landing to be a Plant Habitat, holding a gorgeous baby Sakura Dragon. We are working on hard on finding a few more specimens to populate our park, but for the moment this little girl is at pride of place and the talk of our park.
I have been taking my time here and there reading through this thread. Love it and love all the posts! Thanks so much all as I don't get much time anymore to go collect coins and visit. Hope everyone keeps posting.
Off I go!
Thanks, TommyB I enjoyed reading your visit through your eyes. You are best
I have been plugging away at this project for a few weeks now. Inspired by Poppy and Mc_Neeze, this island is the most productive way in gold coin generation. There are 14 large earth habitats, each filled with THREE (level 15) Panlong Dragons. To optimize the earnings of each Panlong, a FIRE and WATER boost has been built on the West coast of this island. Each of the Panlong element flags proudly fly on the outer edges of the island. This island is the driving force behind 250strong's Gold Shrine Grind. Not only does it knock off 4 of the necessary elements, but it is also needed to produce enough coins to support the non-Pan dragon's never ending hunger for food. Enjoy!

This is where my champion dragons can show off to the DV world and win some gems for their home island. I have added a bunch of active fountains for decoration and inspiration. I'll do anything to give my dragons a home court advantage.
The northern border of the island is lined with DV Pagodas. This is where spectators can cheer on their favorite dragons. The element flags of each dragon type is surrounding all side of the Colosseum. Each of the 2 lightning crystals is there to provide protection from outside interference. Lastly, the dragon shrines of 250's island are proudly displayed for all to see. Eventually, with the help of my champion dragons, each of the shrines will be turned to GOLD!!!
