does anyone think we will go back to the Thursday release times?
I'd like that, but next Thursday is Thanksgiving...
Also, I just recieved a "Rift Monument" gift in my park, which is NOT the Tines (unsurprised, as the tines are huge...)
Not sure if anyone else has recieved a Dark Remnant, but I did not get a Light Vestige 
Gem Island has also moved back down to it's old spot.
Will post pics in a minute or two

Got the Rift Monument. Nice and compact, it fits into my Dark/Light/Opposites island without too much moving things about.
The gem island seems to be lower, the gems are closer to the home island, almost touching the rim.
Having seen the Remnant, I'm desperate to get it...
Edit: maybe the remnant and vestige are for lower magic accumulations... but I just spotted a friend has both monument and reemant, but no vestige.
And try zooming in on the Rift Monument and see what happens...

I saw some people mention the Rift Island was taken down then put back (for now). Well oddly enough, my Gem Island is gone. Is anyone else seeing this?

I saw some people mention the Rift Island was taken down then put back (for now). Well oddly enough, my Gem Island is gone. Is anyone else seeing this?
Try closing DV and then opening it again. Hopefully that should sort it, but you may need to check for an update or delete and re-install.

I received the rift monument but I didn't get the dark remnant. Has this been a glitch and the remnant had only been accessable to those people playing when the rift island vanished for the first time ? Or is it kind of reward for having fulfilled a certain amount of magic ?
It's a pity !
Why do things like this always happen when it's deep in the night in Europe ?

Crumble am sure they will correct this. I got it sometimes late emm early morning. Interestingly, it offered even to tell my FB/twitter friends and got me thus a gem. (I have neither nor but by cancelling the twitter window I get the extra gem).

No one got a dark pedestal automatically. Some used their third earned egg for display, others bred a dark rift & displayed that.
I did get the dark remnant on two different accounts, both when the disappearing rift glitch happened. One account had maxed out dark, one had gotten as far as getting the large habitat and one egg. So I don't think getting the remnant was based on what you'd earned--probably a glitch and they'll end up gifting it to everyone eventually.

They are now listed in the sandbox with times but pictures aren't up yet. It looks like I have a Phantom in the oven.
Speaking of the sandbox, that guy deserves a hug or a beer or something.

Taking basic lightening and Ice dragons plus Light dragons. With the help if Kairos, got one each of flash, phantom and gamma.
glare resists, have 3 phantoms instead lol. Not really a problem, one display, one pedestal and one to the HC!
And that horrible third cave is almost ready to go straight to the HC!

Got a Gamma and a Phantom---to me the Gamma looks like he needs a medifast diet, I'm surprised he can fly with or without magic! Perhaps he should go into the goodyear blimp contest ;D
