I loved it but I'm easy to please. I did think that the overhead shot of the Gallifreyan council chamber place looked a bit like a Dark claw-like habitat.

So the cave dragon was immediately put in the fountain of youth right after I fed it. This girl is so afraid for spiders, I can't have anything looking close to one in my park. EEK!

My wife, who doesn't play anymore, has received two in her park. I sometimes sneak on to her machine to give myself a gem and noticed two identical gifts from backflip. So I collected them both and they were both dark remnants.

Yes. There were 8 gifts all up; light and dark decorations and small, large and giant habitats for each element. Each player received two, one from each element, depending on how far they progressed in collecting and casting magic. But there was a glitch associated with BFS setting up the Tines Gift, in that people that checked their parks when that "broken" rule set was running also received the Dark Decoration, no matter what other Dark gift they had earned through the event. People that earned nothing received two dark decorations.
Just hatched the Gamma dragon. It's strange to see something so muscular in this game. I think this latest batch of Light hybrids shows that they're not all pretty and cute. I'm expecting cute Light/Water+Air hybrids, then the Light/Metal ones will probably be fiercer.
Wonder if there'll be any cute Dark hybrids, or if they'll get creepier and creepier.
Depending if they are wanting to milk out the release time, I could see them releasing the 3 Christmas dragons by themselves which push the light and dark hybrids release dates back. I know some people are speculating that all the basic hybrids may not even be designed yet but I am 100% certain they are. If they weren't, the release press announcing 36 new dragons with DV 2.0 would have said a different number since it's not them speculating the new amount of dragons. If they were talking about possibilities then that number would have to be a lot higher to accommodate the light/dark golden hybrids. I believe BFS told them that because they want to pump out the remaining basic dragons so they can continue the release of golden hybrids at one dragon per week. Eventually once that grid is done, we might see the release of triple elements which add an unreal amount of future possibilities.

Good point. And the dragons, which are always recolourings, not different designs.
I had both at 14,000 and only got the dark remnant. If we were supposed to get 2, I got cheated--no tines.
Everyone should have received
I maxed both light and dark sides during the rift event and only received the dark remnant and the rift monument.
