Bring 'em Back hasn't had much fanfare for me. That's what happens when you finally catch up, I guess. I did manage 4 Ghost, 4 Reindeer, 3 Mistletoe, 2 Winter, 2 LED, 1 Bone and 1 SED so far.
Think I'll move on to Amethyst next. I'm just collecting a double of the gems for now, as well as hitting those "hidden" goals.
Speaking of goals, none of the goals came back with Bring 'em Back. I thought that pretty strange. I wanted to be able to see which dragons I still had to try for and knock off all the "hidden goals." Oh well.

I had the same expectation and the same feelings of annoyance that it didn't happen. It definitely does not make sense to me. I am glad that I am not alone.

I followed the sage advice of the long time players here and bred the not-likely-to-return-for-awhile-dragons first. I did a lot of research and prep for BeB. I knew exactly what pairs I needed to cover the most dragons I wanted from the second BeB started. I had Celtic, 2 Blue's, Apoc, Leap Year and a Century in my first 24 hours. It was awesome!
I have been able to breed two plus the egg of Celtic, Leap Year, Apoc, Paper, Panlong, Blue Moon, Century and Cotton.
I have two's and the egg's of most others except a few that I really didn't need or want to be able to breed again. I will pick up my 2nds and other eggs through the year.

if you've listed the sum total of your tries, instead of with particular combos only, that is spectacular, odds defying luck you've had. More of a koala habitat, than a Dragonvale, I dare say.
Just nailed an Amethyst. Glad to get that one out of the way. MOving on to Aquamarine!

hhhmmmm...I have gotten one Garnet. Pretty sure, let me check again, Yep! One Garnet since Jan 01. Last few weeks, every time I hit the Retry button and these were the look when I checked the incubation time , LOL.

The only thing I needed from BeB was two Bearded dragons and the matching display egg; finally got the egg yesterday, so that's done. Mistletoe took quite a while, and I'm still trying to get a Winter display egg, but getting the Bearded actually went fairly well. Much koala to all who are still working on getting their missing dragons!

I have not ben able to try for anything--all I need is second gemstone dragons of about four types, and they will come with time so i shouldn't complain, but I am going to anyway. STUPID WINTER, I have been breeding continuously on both sites, using gems to speed up on occasion. Double rainbow, Rainbows, Leap years, Lunar Eclipses, Forests, Blizzards, Ghosts, Mountains, tree you name it . If it has a 12 hour + breeding time, I am getting it.

Tries with the combo I used, not all combos I used to try for it.
Just popped my 14th LYD into the nursey, and second Celtic. I also have a Rainbow in there. Still no Panlong. If this is the last weekend of BEB, I will bave to decide between buying P or Apoc. With 526 gems, I won't be able to collect enough gems in time. Maybe I might treat myself to some gems.
Better luck continues in park 2, first Butterfly turned up. Breeding for Peridot, third try so far.
Kindle park1: nearly all dragons are frolicking in their habitats! (A Thorny little problem to resolve...)
Smartphone park2: Geode, a dragon with rocks in! Still to breed 4 dragons...

That's exactly what I was thinking. I could purchase a 50 gem package and then gift it to someone. Somewhat like these new badges are, that way the game is being supported and the people that really need some help get it. It would also let those of us participate that are on Android in a gem shower or a contest as we could send a batch to someone like Pixie and let her distribute to the winners. Just a thought

Ohhh...that is such a relief. Gratz! W/ two months left, you will get your Winter egg soon enough. I have not even started breeding Winter, having read other posts on how hard it's to get one. I am a little "gun shy" about breeding one, however need to get on it soon.

The staff contacted BFS with a somewhat similar suggestion awhile back so we could include all platforms in our contests. Unfortunately, we didn't get a positive response.
