I want to maximise the dragon treats by just falling short of the theme but I am worried I might unavoidably get it. Has anyone any tips for just falling short? I'm assuming we will get a double weekend so it could get a bit tricky. I'm also assuming getting over 1680 candies but not cashing them in for the theme isn't an option. not in the spirit I know but I don't think my dragons like being in a dark place.

Your "candy counter" will glow when you have enough to win the theme. So I would suggest that you turn in all your candy constantly. As you see the progress bar getting closer to 100%, be mindful of whether your candy counter is glowing. As long as it isn't glowing, it is safe to turn in your candy. Don't let your candy counter gather more than 10, 8, 6, however much candy. So that when it does start to glow, you don't miss out on a large sum of candy.

How much candies have you collected thus far?
Got both dragons and about 500 candies with 5 days plus 3 doubles I thought it would be close
Looks like luck is just not on your side these days. Hang in there, and koala!
I accidentally did that during the Easter event. I ended up selling the farm and buying a new one to avoid missing a day.
I just pushed Dragon Fruit accidentally. I used to wait for 24 hours. Thank you for your tip. I just sold the huge treat farm and immediately purchased a new farm. I am back in buisness. It always amazes me how much you can learn from this forum.

Hi guys. Real life has been so thick these days I will be lucky to get 1 Nosferatu. I am not a fan of the island themes, though, any of them, so no loss to me not to achieve the spooky one. They are just too much on the eyes, IMHO.
Looks like I need about 700 more candies until I can get my first Spooky theme. I should be able to get it before the deadline ends on the 3rd. After that, I'm just going to take it easy and collect the extra candy for the treats. I wonder if there will be a second double candy weekend for this event.

I agreed. But I will at least get one Spooky theme, just because
I should hit 100M in treats tomorrow...just going w/ the flow.
A double candy weekend should be a sure thing this weekend right?
I think so. If not, I will personally drive to Boulder, CO, knock on their doors, and file a complaint just for you.
Great. I'll just need that in writing with your signature along with a disclosure that I am not to be responsible for any damages, physical or emotional, that may occur. K thanks.
