Was in at 9:32 PT and had no deal but hatched an egg and received 40 candies, which was nice because I hatched two about 4 hours earlier and received 20 each for them. Going back in about another hour so I'm sure I'll have the deal also, thanks for updating Bloodstone

viviane - I did not know Halloween tradition extends to your part of the world...can you fill us in Viv, backgrounds and such.?
Well Buffy, originally, halloween is a celtic tradition, celts used to live in ireland, cornwall, scotland and french Britany. Was of course linked to the cult of the death which has been taken over by christianity, The 2nd of november being devoted to remembering those who left this world. Thus, the origins are europeans. However the way it turned into halloween, including all the commercial stuff, costumes, candies etc etc was first born in the states. It took quite a while until it crossed the pond back to Europe. Shops are allways interested in new sources of business. But halloween does not have the dimension it has in the States I think, it remains marginal here. And shops have already put up all the Xmas stuff since two weeks, so there is only a small corner with halloween stuff.

Thanks Viv!
One of my best friends moved to Wales, UK few years ago, and has not mentioned anything about Halloween there; their history maybe different then.
Just read recently that Halloween industry is worth 8.8B, and the $$ keeps going up every year. It's just mind blowing, considering everything else is happening around us. In small part, I am a contributor to the industry. Guilty!
Got a X-mas catalog from Toys-R-Us today..goshh, I will be in San Diego next week, I am so expecting to hear X-Mas music in the stores. Just dont know what to think anymore.

Do you have that little mom&pop place called Costco, too? By July 4th, Halloween decorations; Sept. 1, Christmas decorations, and by New Years Day it's "Back to School Fall Savings!"

LOL yes, everything comes up with 2 months advance on the calendar. Am just waiting that they start the january sales before Xmas to make that budget smaller! These kids gadgets are expensive! My little friend Eddie wants a Furby ... spent some time on the net to get familiar with that thing. Totally stupid lol and scandalously expensive!

I didn't realize Furrbys were still a thing. One of the creepiest toys ever invented.

Haha, yes! Our daughter had one years ago (she's an adult now). She revealed to us many years later that it used to speak in the middle of the night so she wrapped it in towels, stuck it between two pillows in a single pillow case, and buried it at the bottom of her toy box in the back of her closet.

Hydrogen is a colorless, odorless gas, which if left alone in large enough quantities, for long enough, will begin to think about itself.

Do you know what the best kind of Furby is? A dead one. Too bad these things are nearly immortal.
