Hmm, well I guess BFS decided I wasn't affected by the glitch since I didn't receive any adjustment. However, the event ended a day early for me, denying me a chance to increase my treat reward. Furthermore, I was able to sporadically collect candies a few times during the final day but couldn't turn them in since the candy counter came back but the island and associated buttons did not.
I had been contemplating buying a second spooky theme if I got within striking distance the last day.
Not a very happy valer right now.

I got a second spooky theme, 100 gems and 3.5 million treats. And the cauldron. Not bad at all. I would never have gotten enough candies for a second spooky theme nor was I trying to get one. But I am not complaining.

Huh, since I've been without internet the last day or so, I'm not really sure when and why things happened, but when I hopped into the Vale, I got 100 gems 2.5 million treats and the Spooky Theme (there was a cauldron in there as well, already residing in my storage tower, completely forgotten for eterninty), all for free for apparently being a victim of a glitch that I wouldn't even have noticed. Even if they screw up some times, BFS really are generous to their players, you can't deny that.
Pretty happy now, in contrast to Skitch. Hope it gets sorted out!

We seem to be in the same boat, only I couldn't even collect candies yesterday. My event totally ended a day early. The boat is going to be crowded, as the same thing happened to my husband's accounts and my son's account also.
I am no longer interested in being compensated. It is after all only a game ? however in the interests of transparency I would like to understand what happened. I like logic and plan hard around the competitions (I have to due to work commitments) and I enjoy them mostly. I also agree that BFS are generous with the comp rewards so when there are glitches that seem to undermine the norm then it troubles me. ?

I was going to be short of the first theme, when my candy disappeared, I got treats at that point. Then I also, like you, got the theme, 3.5M treats, 100 gems, plus the 4 for publishing, and the Cauldron. So I'm really happy with the outcome.

I got a ridiculously generous amount of stuff for the glitch that I don't think really impacted me all that much. I feel a bit guilty. But thanks BFS for another great event!
I also got the additional theme 100 gems and about 1.6m treats so I am happy. I also finally got a nightmare the first time I hit retry after getting the compensation :-)

I got all this too! I was 600 treats away from the spooky theme so would never have got it. Very pleased
Like many I got the 100 gems, 3.5 mil treats (my favorite prize) and a spooky theme. Now I have two? How unexpected!

I did not recieve any extra gems, treats or themes from BFS, presumably because everything worked as intended.
I guess I technically missed out on the extra days worth of candy collection. This wouldn't have gotten me a second theme but would have probably been worth a few thousand extra treats.
I think I'm okay with the end result though.
I got exactly what I was expecting out of the event.
Like many I got the 100 gems, 3.5 mil treats (my favorite prize) and a spooky theme. Now I have two? How unexpected!

The great plan had been to be just short of the 2nd Spooky Theme so there would be lots of treats awarded, ended up at 84 short. BFS says my park had been affected, but it had to have been a really small amount of candies involved as had been turning them in regularly that last day. Got the 2nd theme, 3.5mil treats and 100 gems. Not complaining, but have no idea what the treat count would have been without the glitch.
I have emailed BFS to ask how they determined treats. On my main account I received 3+ million for my 580-600 candies + the Cauldron when the game ended a day early. That is all I received. For my small account that had 553 candies lost + 200 more collected after the glitch, I received only 1.4+ million treats + the other gifts. Many have said they received the 3.5 for no lost treats, so I'm a little upset over all my wasted effort, especially over an extremely difficult last week in real life. I didn't want the second spooky theme, I wanted the treats I had earned. I'll let people know what response I get from BFS.

The event ended early for me, and I missed out on one day's worth of candies. I was contemplating emailing BFS for that, but figured it doesn't really matter to me. I got my first Spooky theme, and a second one would probably make me want to go for seconds of all the other themes too. Anyway, BFS probably has more emails than they can handle right now, so I won't take their attention away from someone who needs it more.

I lost all the candy collected on the last day, have emailed support but other than an automatic reply I haven't had anything, bit annoying really, to hear lots of people got extra for no reason.
