Just bumping this since i haven't gotten any feedback: "Can you (or anyone) please clarify what is meant by SF 5 & Mono 5 being exempt?"
Not sure of the original context but mono and SF follow slightly different rules to other epics. Both parents must be mono to breed another mono. Ditto snowflakes. Other epics only need one parent the same.
I don't know, but I would expect this will mean you will need to breed moX + mo5 to get a mo5 once they have expired.
It may also mean that we can only use mo5 + mo5 to get another, which would mean CBC is required if you only have one.

The following image is a visual representation of my palpable pressure relief:
NOW I'M GOING TO DISNEYLAND!!
You aren't the only one. Muse had me on tenterhooks since I got it from a CBC breed but wasn't sure it wasn't just another exceptionally long fail. (Yeah, I counted 36, but until it popped out I could've been hallucinating).
Now we have two days and some hours to watch the pretty eggs.
Speaking of Disneyland, I'd always thought the castle came from the Alcazar of Segovia. Yesterday someone casually mentioned on TV that it was Neuschwanstein around Munich. Funny because I never considered Neuschwanstein to be a real castle (it was built during the Romantic period by a daydreaming king whose relatives kept trying to declare him non compos mentis before he emptied the treasury) and never credited Disney to copy a copy...
Oh okay, it's meant to be every castle in every kid's head who's not going to live in and defend it. But I keep thinking. I'm big on castles, see? Except for the maintenance. (And even those who've undertaken the maintenance eventually send me museum manuscripts about them - part of my job description. So I end up learning a lot more about them than I started out with, which was pretty much a lot. Taught art history in another life... that said, if I were a dragon, I wouldn't live in the tower. Probably smash a few bits to get some open sky to a basement).
Heh, I actually knew it was based on Neuschwanstein! My daughter is a Disney fanatic (also a dragon fanatic which is why I originally got into Dragonvale). She worked in Disney World on their college intern program and can answer just about any trivia question about Disney that you might imagine. And speaking of Disney and dragons, if you haven't seen Fantasmic in a few years (or ever), then I highly recommend it. They update the technology periodically and the latest iteration of Maleficent is kinda awesome!

I can't decide between another Omnitatbor the Lost Island...
We have a week to use our tickets, right?
Just a guess, but it seems likely to me that there will be more opportunities in the near future to get another Omnitat than there will be to get the Lost Island (though neither appears to be as rare as we once thought!).
6 days 19 hours to use your tickets as I type this... Note that there's a countdown timer below your ticket bank to remind you!

*blushes* Thanks. It just clicked once the theme was in place and I went back to look at the balloon while deciding how to spend tickets.
Aaaaaarrrrrgggghhhh, didn't buy the scarecrow! At least Halloween isn't far off. Currently using Spooky Tower for the castle, along with some of the fences and the green Whitbee's Lanterns. *snicker*
Now which dragon looks most like a flying monkey ...
Ha! I always think the baby Dawn dragon looks like a lion! And if she can get Bloodstone to move in she'll have her Tin Man! (ok, now I'm just getting silly)

Yeah, with BFS auto cashing if for us it makes it hard to know what the totals were. To be clear I was asking for the BFS gift component not all the gifts received.
Now my game had all the gifts turned in about halfway through so my end total of BFS gifts was about 1800. Very confident I'm last there.
Oh, misunderstood completely... I'm not really sure how many I had in the BFS gift (wasn't really paying a lot of attention to individual items in the list), but I think it was around 9000-ish?

This is great! Now place the Emerald Triquetra to represent Emerald City, Whitbee's Castle to represent the Wicked Witch's castle, and a bunch of flower boxes to represent the poppy fields!
Oooooooooh!
Haven't decided on getting Whitbee's Castle yet, but that's brilliant! Hee hee hee....
Oh! And don't forget the Scarecrow from the Halloween event (I thought we had a spooky looking tree as well but I can't find it...)

OK, it's probably cheesy, but I couldn't resist doing a Wizard of Oz theme. And now I'll be stuck singing this song all day. "Because because because because because....!"
Leprechauns for Munchkins, the house that lands at the edge of the plaza at beginning of the Yellow Brick Road, the hot air balloon for the Wizard, and a Dream habitat among all the Rainbows because "It was just a dream!"
Yes, I'm sitting here giggling like a nutcase.

Well, with the unexpected Gift ticket conversion, my grand total (no tickets spent yet) came to 53718. It was a pain getting a clean screenshot not blocked by swirling tickets!
I'm so glad I put my money on you.
Ha! We shall see, of course, but I suspect Fletch_smf may pass me on the outside with Gift tickets!

Anyone else noticed that there are now dragons I call "super limited epics". They are more limited than normal dragons...
These are epic dragons which are limited, but are limited similar to limited hybrids in that you need both parents to breed one, (well you only need one via CBC with someone else who has the parent) . Examples: Darkling (which cannot be bred other than cloning anyway), Faire (same as darkling), Tidal and Muse.
There is of course the multi breeding rule which applies to monoliths and snowflakes which means that although they are epic, (similarly to super limited dragons) you need both parents to breed them, except it can be ANY number of monolith (1-5) and it can have an outcome of any monolith (and same with snowflakes). I know this limited ness (?) as The Super Limited Multi Epics Breeding Rule. The first rule I talked about was The Super Limited Epics Breeding Rule.
How odd that we see all these new dragons coming with different availablilties ...
There are of course new, combo less dragons, (Faire and darkling) which i dont like. They say we can breed every dragon with enough patience me but that's not true thi Faire and darkling, they can currently only be bought with tickets, and only THEN they can be cloned. In fact thorn was meant to be that way, but at first it had a combo... Which was silly!
I don't even know the classification of midnight, although I believe it acts as a normal epic limited, but what do I know?
I'm extremely confident they will eventually reveal breeding pairs for Faire and Darkling

edit: not that I think 2015 Backflip Studios will actually do anything about it. Really disappointed in the direction they've gone lately.
Where are you getting 30k from? The theoretical maximum you could bank each day was 189 (100 from quest + 39 from a lucky spin + 50 from ten gifts), which would be about 15k over the duration of the event. Assuming that you end with spinning the jackpot on every single day and never roll 50 tickets from a quest.
But yeah, as you said, they can't please everyone. This is a "damned if they do, damned if they don't" situation.
Well, the 50 per day from gifts assumes parity with the amount you give away... I suppose you could clear many more if you have lots of generous friends who don't expect one for one trading!

Okay, so it seems we're all amassing BFS gifts at the moment, as extra collections of tickets, with the possibility that 3500 of them might be useful in the week between earning them and spending them ends. So who would like to see who can earn the most? My suggestion is we each put up a gem and then agree to send it to the winner. The winner sends his to second place, guaranteeing at least two prizes. Depending on how many people want to sign up we might split it in to 3.
Who's interested? Post a screen shot after they pack up the Challenge tents in September as your entry.
And I know we're not quite even now, but there's 60+ days to go and anything can happen. I think I'll leave this open for entries till the Fireflight phase is over, so just over a week.

Hmm, I suspect granting us all our Social/Gift tickets is by way of an apology for the Faire Dragon fiasco! If so, thank you BFS, I appreciate the gesture!

As an epic, we're expecting Muse to be available for epic cloning later, right? No need to buy? Because the way things are going, I'll have enough to get Faire and the figurines if we can bank 3500 but if I need 3750 for Muse, I can't afford the figurines
Figurines are a last priority, you need them like garden gnomes.
As a completist my front yard is chock full of garden gnomes, pink flamingoes, grazing deer, and "bend over ladies"
