I started to breed an iron blossom with an ornamental dragon in the rift, and then I realized I don’t have any rifted ornamental dragons!

No, the ornamental dragons have a breeding combo that you can breed in the rift: Dazzling - Any Ornamental + Ornamental {Ornamental: PFEC} Flicker - GIFT + Any Earth {Ornamental: PFEC} Lace - COAL + Any Plant {Ornamental: PFE} Ornamental - REINDEER + Any Fire {Ornamental: PFC} Ribbon - REGIFT + Any Fire {Ornamental: PFC} Starshine - TWINKLE + DAZZLING {Ornamental: PFECA} Tinsel - HOLLY + Any Cold {Ornamental: PEC} Twinkle - WINTER + Any Air {Ornamanetal: ECA} Verglace - MISTLETOE + Any Cold {Ornamental: PEC}
The other ornamental dragons have to be evolved from Coal or Gift, you will need decorations to do so Avarice - Can evolve from COAL when all 10 different Poinsettias are in your Park {Ornamental: PFE} Burglehoo - Can evolve from COAL when all 10 different Presents are in your Park {Ornamental: PFE} Gulletail - Can evolve from COAL when all 10 different Stockings are in your Park {Ornamental: PFE} Jadice - Can evolve from COAL when all 10 different Arc Lamps are in your Park {Ornamental: PFE} Libretto - Can evolve from GIFT when all 10 different Tuplets are in your Park {Ornamental: PFC} Lokilure - Can evolve from COAL when all 10 different Feathers are in your Park {Ornamental: PFE} Nibwhip - Can evolve from GIFT when all 10 different Cocoa Mugs are in your Park {Ornamental: PFC} Saccharine - Can evolve from GIFT when all 10 different Gumdrops are in your Park {Ornamental: PFC} Sugarplum - Can evolve from GIFT when all 10 different Flutter Fruits are in your Park {Ornamental: PFC} Trepak - Can evolve from GIFT when all 10 different Nutcrackers are in your Park {Ornamental: PFC}
But what I don't get : if you "started to breed an iron blossom with an ornamental dragon in the rift" then you allready have a rifted ornamental, otherwise you couldn't breed with it in the rift.

I'm going to make this my official whine because I haven't bred any of the new event dragons yet. I had some success with breeding Kringle and Cyclamen, two of the many dragons I've missed during past events, but the newer ones continue to evade me.
I especially want to own Venture because it reminds me of my grandmother. She loved cardinals, and Venture looks like an adorable little cardinal. So I'm sending out an extra big whine for that one.

Yep, I really don't have a rifted ornamental. That's why I only *started* and then came here for help!
After successfully breeding Harmony in the rift with the breeding pair previously mentioned earlier in this thread (I think), and earlier breeding Reminiscence in the coop, I decided to buy Venture. I've thrown him into the coop in company with a Ghostly Fire in the hope of breeding a second one.
So hoping that new owners have really been found to carry on with Dragonvale.
Is anyone else having trouble getting into DV? The entire Lind family, on 6 different voices, one of which is android while the others are apple, has been getting a download error for about 2 hours. We’ve reset our internet and our devices. Since I can access this webpage on one of those devices, the internet doesn’t seem to be the problem. Just checking if this was a widespread issue.

Having zero luck breeding the new dragons. Bought the ones I have with event currency and can’t seem to breed a pedestal, twin, or Rift to make a set. I hope whoever is taking over the game does something about the abysmal odds that have plagued the game. MAKE DRAGONVALE FUN AGAIN!
A reminder that if you don't have them yet, today is the last day to breed or purchase Harmony and Festive - they will be gone with the next reset. Then it is co-op breeding only.
Trepak and Lokilure will also no longer be able to be purchased in the Mirthful Market.
If the limited category renews at reset, the next limited dragon will be here along with Tusk or Shiver and probably another two Ornamentals from last year to purchase.
Many koalas if you are still trying to breed Harmony.

I'm still trying to breed Harmony but having no luck.
I already have Festive, and I went ahead and bought Lokilure because much cuteness. ❤❤❤ I might end up using a wish to nab one of these dragons before the event is over. I have two wishes and as long as I have one left in reserve everything is fine. I've collected a lot of decorations for Nibwhip and Avarice, and a couple extra Coal dragons just in case.
I wouldn't say my luck's been great so far, but things are going well so I'm happy. If I'm lucky, I might be able to evolve a Gift or Coal dragon into Nibwhip or Avarice. I missed out on last year's winter event and I really want those two.

When I first sold extra decos I received in chests as prizes, they sold for cash. Today, I’m getting 50 berries for each deco I sell. Don’t know if that’s a change or a feature of double days, but if this is true in all parks, it’s a good time to sell your extra decos.
Yes! The ornamental evolve decorations were selling for a pittance (10,000 DC). I disappointingly stopped selling them in hopes BFS would fix this and let us earn Iceberries (thanks BFS!).

It seems to be a permanent change. They are selling for 50 ice berries on normal days too.

Tip: Mountain Sun + Harmony and Mountain Sun + Twinkle/Venture are the best breeding pairs with the least number of fails.
Gotta spend the Iceberries before they melt. Level 20 Yule in the co-op. Let the Yule log burn bright all season long and bring on the koala!
(As Quil and amos pointed out earlier, all the new House Ornamental dragons only contain their house elements (no hidden ornamental elements), so clone with the house elements only.)

I have lot of friends from my old forum (before I found this lovely Vale full of Aloha and Koalas), but none from here.
