I hope this is the right place for this, but I've noticed the compendium hasn't updated to show that the turquoise dragon is available and the topaz dragon isn't anymore. Unless this isn't a mistake, and the turquoise dragon ISNT actually available (which is possible perhaps, as I've been breeding the combo for a long time and still no turquoise)

Turquoise is available. I have successfully bred one in the rift and in the RBC.
Am I missing something or have I misunderstood Solarflare's combo?
From my understanding from dragonvale.fandom.com/wiki/Solarflare_Dragon#Breeding, Solarflare is galaxy element + sun element in the Co-Op cave, but in the Compendium I've got Sun + Lunis (galaxy/moon) in Social and it says Solarflare isn't a possible result. Same for Sun + Rayleian (just galaxy) and Sun + Solis (galaxy/sun).
For what it's worth, the Sandbox lists Solarflare as a possible result in all three of those.
I've triple checked that 'Social' was definitely selected.
That's a weird one. There's no definition for breeding Solarflare in the data, which is why the breeding combo appears blank. It only defines cloning it within the social caves. Doesn't list components like the galaxy or sun elements either.
My guess is that it's a special case and handled within their servers, especially since it's the only dragon requiring a specific cave to breed within (not clone, that's different and is how most galaxy dragons are defined). I have no idea what the % chance of getting one would be either, that's not defined except by cloning. It would be interesting to run a bunch of tests with sun/galaxy dragons and see results, if I had to guess it would be similar to getting a normal hybrid. Those are the other dragons with no defined chance, and it changes based on the various result sets.
Sorry, but one more. When working with long columns of data it really helps readability to left justify text column data and right justify numeric column data. Boolean columns should be centered. This is standard formatting for languages that are read left to right. I have reformatted my copy of the Compendium this way and find it much easier to read. Give it a try. Thanks!
1.18 is available with Zodiac filtering. Was not a fan on the justification changes, but I'll look into adding it as an option in a new version I'm working on. Adding several other options too, such as turning off images for those who are on slower devices and want faster loading times.

Thanks, Quil, for the Zodiac filtering. Don’t worry about the column justification. I can reformat my own copy in Sheets. It just takes time.
I don't know if it can be fixed, but Yolkwing, Kampos and Plumewing always appear in Rift breeding even if it's impossible to meet their trait requirements with the dragons. E.g. I tried Light Rift + Metal Rift (which both have one single trait they can be, neither of which are fire, water or air) and the three still showed up as possible results.
It's not a massive thing and like I say I don't know if it can be fixed because the majority of other combinations do have fire, water and air traits as a possibility, but I was just bringing it to your attention.
Is there a bug with Morpho, Serket and Trilobite? If you set them as the target then in the header, there's nothing for single parent cloning in Co-Op but double is 5%; if you use them in Social breeding the chance is listed as 10% for a single parent clone. Given the rest of the Chrysalis dragons (besides maybe one or two) are all 1% for single and 5% for double, is the 10% a mistake?

The ? for single parent cloning means that it's not defined in the files. There's several dragons that have no defined cloning odds, or no defined breeding odds. For breedeing odds, it's generally the hybrids that have it undefined (and a few buggy goldens). That means that the chances are dynamically worked out based on the results. For cloning, as far as we could tell with all of our extensive testing, undefined for single parent = 10% and double parent = 30%.
I fully expect they can be cloned at 10% but if we can show a large test sample, probably a few hundred results (we had many more than that to get the numbers), we can look at adjusting those base odds or how they're calculated.

Looking at ways to fix this in the next 2.0 version, but wouldn't Light Rift + Metal Rift with the rift itself set to Fire produce Yolkwing as a possible result?

Yes it would. I didn't know that at the time, however.
The Compendium 2.0 has now been released! Please report any problems, issues, or suggestions. There has been a lot of changes and I anticipate that a wider audience may find things that I missed.
Checklist Track your collection here. Based on options, you can track dragons, eggs, twins, rifts, traits and more. You can choose to track some as counts or as checkboxes. The default is counting dragons and using checkboxes for eggs. There's a summary at the top right. You can also sort the list alphabetically or by category, again in options. The data on the link is populated with my own Checklist data, but you can reset it on the Options page and start fresh.
As new dragons are released, the Checklist will not automatically add them as it's a static list. On the options page you'll see a clearly marked field that it needs updating. It'll also tell you at the top of the Checklist. Just select Yes to updating in Options and the new dragons will be added while keeping your existing numbers.
When upgrading to a new version or copy of the Compendium, you usually copy the Compendium and throw away the old version. There's an option there to enter a URL, just paste a link to your old Compendium copy with Checklist data, select 'Yes' from the bottom right dropdown once the sheet shows connected, and the new copy of the Compendium will grab a copy of all of your data. That way you can upgrade and not lose your list. If you have problems with this, let me know and I'll help you retrieve that data.
Options Various options for the sheet have been moved here and more will be added in the future. You can select options to turn on/off images to try to save load times, or to change the justification of the various fields. Default is centered, as it was in prior versions, but you can justify text left and numbers right if you prefer that now.
There are several options for the Checklist here. You can choose exactly how you'd like to track your collection, checklist vs counts, whether you want to track types of dragons such as twins and rifts, and similar details on eggs. Or even completely turn off one section if you desire.
This is also where you can load your prior versions of the checklist if you're moving to a new copy of the Compendium. Paste the URL into where it asks 'Enter URL:' and wait for the connection message to show "Connected". You may need to authorize access to your other sheet, but that usually only happens if you switch Google accounts. Once connected, select 'Yes' on the dropdown in H19 and wait until the Status messages finish and a timestamp of a completed load is shown.
Changing many of these options, or importing data, can take a little while for the Compendium to set everything up correctly. Please give it a short time, up to 30 seconds, for the changes or imports to complete.
If you're on my friends list in DV and you really want your checklist data entered initially for you, you can message me, and I may be able to help you load it using a faster method. No guarantees here.
Combo Finder: You can select a target dragon and pick the various options (cave, including parent, and several more) and it will return a list of combinations to get that dragon. It tries to choose the best option based on multiple factors: best odds (including cloning), least number of elements introduced, likelihood to not clone one of the parents based on their cloning odds, if a parent can be an elder, and more. The base percentage change to get the dragon is reported, which includes the base odds and any cloning odds. Dragons with no base odds, such as basic hybrids, will have a ?% added as those odds are dynamic based on results.
The exact odds are not reported here. If you want those, take the parents to the Breeding Sim and it will calculate them correctly. There's no way to get the correct odds on the Combo Finder as they change based on what limiteds are available, what cave is being used, time of day, weather, and much more. But the best guesses are listed here, in order, based on all of the known information. Those highlighted in green text are the best choices overall. This is really useful when trying to find combos that require epic element parents, and finding out which dragons have the least number of elements introduced.
You can choose options such as not allowing the target dragon as a parent (no cloning!), which cave is used - this can impact cloning chances, not showing rift dragons in caves outside the rift (no 'Air Rift' dragon as an air parent in the social cave, for example, just 'Air'), and there's even an option to force one of the parents to be a specific dragon.
Finally, you can choose if the Combo Finder uses your Checklist or not. This will help you find parents that you own, in the cave that's selected. For the social cave, you only need to own one of the parents. This is really only useful if you're tracking your collection in the checklist and track whether a dragon is rift or not rift version.
Checklist Info This is a bunch of premade lists showing various things about your Checklist data. Missing dragons, twins, good targets for the Runic Caves, and a lot of other lists. In last columns you can enter any dragons and it'll tell you about them, for example I entered all of the required dragons for breeding limiteds in this event and it tells if I have a normal, rift, or both versions of each. Quick and easy check for players, and I generally spend a few minutes running through the lists to see if I have rift versions of each required dragon at the start of each event. There's also a list of dragons and eggs available in the event shop, and their cost, showing which ones you're missing. There are probably too many lists here for some players, but I kept adding various things I wanted to know about my collection. I'll look for a way in the future to filter some of these out. Also, if there's additional information you want to know about your park and have listed here, let me know. It's easy to add more lists!

This is absolutely awesome on soooo many levels. Thanks a lot Quil, you're a star!!
Wow, Quil, version 2 is awesome. Thank you so much! I like the check list, although it will take me some time to digest the info and enter my own list.
I've made a couple of fixes to the Compendium, thank you everyone who found some minor problems.
2.02: Fixes galaxy dragons in the rift. I was incorrectly under the assumption that they were not available in the rift except as twin rift dragons. That's all I've ever seen, as I had twin versions outside the rift, you can only get them with eggs of mystery, and so I never saw and can't receive normal rift versions. But you can get them if you don't own other versions, from the rift mystery eggs, so you can correctly track them now. I'll probably add an option in a future update to not include them on the Checklist Info missing lists, as many of us can never get them.
2.03: Fixes an issue with protecting the Checklist sheet and permissions on data added on the end. When a new dragon is added or you swap from Alphabetical to Category mode, new lines are added. These lines weren't being added to the exceptions list correctly, so you would receive warnings trying to update numbers at the bottom.
If you upgrade to 2.03 and have already added data to your checklist, follow the directions on importing it from your prior copy to the new copy. If you have problems doing this, feel free to message me and I'll walk you through it and ensure you can get your data.

Hi Quil! I just wanted to say thanks for all the work you put into this. I just downloaded it, and finished my checklist. I have a question, it says 2.0 at the top, and I'm not sure how to find your 2.03 update. Am I missing something?
Also, just a note, in going through the checklist, I noticed that there are several rift exclusives in the 'House Dragons' section, such as Snowsquall and Voltaic. Ancestor dragon is under the 'Celebration' heading in the checklist.
And finally, a request for future updates- is it possible to have a checklist for ELDER next to the Primary Dragons section in the checklist?
It's so awesome, thank you so much! About to go work on my runic breeding cave section from what I have written in my notebook (since our RBCs are empty now).

Two things that I noticed when answering some questions for someone on the subreddit.
1. In the parent finder it looks like it says Solis can be a result of literally any combo that uses a Sun dragon, regardless of whether or not the other dragon has the galaxy element. Lunis is the same but with moon. Is this a bug?
2. On the overall post for version two you mentioned the green text is the best combo overall, I was wondering what the factors were? My green text for Sumi was Air + Maw and I'm not sure why. (It can't be to do with the checklist since I haven't updated that since resetting it yet, and I don't have the option to consider the checklist selected.)
Also a suggestion, would it be possible to put the explanation for element acronyms on a second page (rather than just RBC page) such as the breeding sim? People are more likely to use the breeding sim page than the RBC page, and one of the things this person was asking about was the element acronyms.

Looks like there was a typo on the Combo Finder, I've updated and created version 2.04. If anyone wants to make the quick fix themselves on their current copy, just open the CFData tab and change A24 from galactic to galaxy.
I've also added the element chart to the Dragonarium page. We'll see if it looks ok there long term.
The green text is based on several factors. First, of course, is the breeding chance. But when those are the same, it's also looking at other factors and taking a best guess. Number of elements added, cloning chances of parents, and elder dragon availability. You want less elements introduced, and more importantly less basic elements vs epic ones if possible. And if everything else is exactly the same, if one has parent combos that have a 1% clone chance and another has one with 5% clone chances, it'll pick the ones with 1% just to try to keep the odds open as much as possible.
