I haven’t been on here for a while so I don’t know if anyone else has noticed this but I haven’t encountered a ‘portrait mode’ ad for quit a while.
Because of my career in software and problem solving, I don’t believe in coincidences… there’s ALWAYS a reason/cause for something. I could be wrong but I think DECA has done something about portrait mode ads. Thanks DECA … 🤞🤞🤞
Deca has removed a lot of the problematic ads that were reported by Forum members. Thank you to everyone who reported adverts, you’ve made a huge difference!
There are still ads that play in portrait and cause stretchy screen, but not nearly as many. I did receive some this week. The ads are on rotation, so it sounds like you’ve been winning the advert roulette wheel lately.

Here in Western Colorado, not far from the mountains, it’s been 100+ almost every day for the last 10 days. Mid 90s is what is normally the hottest it gets.

I bred a traited Kann today, so there will be no more instant Sun fails. I need a traited Zilla which gives lots of cold dragon fails. Hopefully this will help lower the temperatures. 😉
I have been trying to remember to race all the new dragons at the race track to see if any have an interesting animation. When racing Curse, only his eye is visible - it's hilarious. 😂

We have previously reported on a koala labor strike in a park run by a wizard (who wishes to remain anonymous). The two sides quickly came to terms after a new park resident, a Kann dragon named Reggie, sized up the situation and threatened binding arbitration. Terms of the settlement have not yet been released.

Can I make a request of Deca? Can the event dragons in the market also have a timer and be at the top of the breeding hints list? It can be a pain to scroll through to find which dragons are in the market and thus are currently breedable

I can ask Deca, but I don’t think they’d be willing to put a timer on all the market dragons because that would make the News tab very long at the start of an event. Most players know the dragons will expire when the event market departs, so it’s not necessary to have a timer on the dragons in the market. If there’s a way Deca can bump the breeding hints without a timer, maybe that’d work.
In the meantime, the breeding hints for every dragon in the event is always listed on the first page of the event thread under Meet the Dragons, as soon as the event starts. Other DV communities use this list as well, so hopefully that’ll help.

Thanks for asking! I didn't realise all dragons with timers get a separate notification in the events menu! (Don't they sometimes have a joint notification that opens a splash screen?)
I do use the first page of event threads with great joy, it definitely helps! Thought I'd ask if there would be an in-game option as then I can keep track of how many I have of each etc

It’s a shame, isn’t it. Mine are similar. I usually refuse to play when that game becomes too hard. The next round is always easier. Doesn’t help this late in the game. To the whine room? I’m bringing drinks in an ice filled cooler. 😎

I managed to complete it with the help of Kairos, some eggs in my gifts menu and combining elements. Muse for Dream/Olympus, Misfortune for Treasure/Apocalypse and Lunis for Moon/Galaxy. But like you, I would probably leave it now. 😊

Yeah, I had a similar card in my main park earlier on too. I used the same strategy as yours. And I think I waited till it was doubles day too. This one is in my other park with a lot less friends so not that many twin gifts. At least I have plenty of EC so don’t need to do the donation. I am thankful that the cloning and breeding odds had been in my favor and I only have to buy Sea Shanty. 😅🐨🐨

My koalas have been sentenced to 1,000 hours of community service cleaning out the sulfur dragon’s habitat because they were so unhelpful with Rift breeding in this event.
Ok this is getting insane DECA. 4 weeks in trying to get the djinni dragon rifted up to 15k etherium and nothing. 4 WEEKS!!! Burned through over 3k gems in speed breeding for the curse AND the corsair (I believe I finally bred Corsair on the EBI) and now I can’t get the Manomano dragon rifted?!?! I’ve spent the entire time the crawler dragon has been available trying IN BOTH PARKS to get the Manomano dragon. This is absolute fudge!!!🤬🤬🤬🤬 I’ve never had such an issue trying to get one, just one rifted dragon. I think I would have an easier trying to get the chromocorn dragon naturally without using one as a parent.
I nearly threw my tablet on the ground and ran it over with my car in sheer frustration!!!!
edit: I’m now using two double rainbow dragons trying to get Manomano
